Small place with a lot of people in there but nice and friendly

Paul and Lisa are very accommodating, great local boozer. Darts, pool table and live sport what more can you ask for.

A little gem of a place friendly staff and amazing atmosphere always made to feel welcome. The landlord and lady always there to greet you with friendly smile and banter.

Alot better now new management have taken over! The overall cleanliness is so much better and the lines and glasses are clean - the cleanest they've ever probably been in there! Staff are friendly and the Landlord and Landlady are very welcoming. The pub is dog friendly and has darts boards and pool table, perfect spot to go with family and friends

Well, where do I start.. this is one of the most brilliant pubs in the area. The atmosphere, the new management, the drinks, the list goes on. If you haven't been to the Brit then what are you doing? If you're after a good drink and a laugh then this is the place to be. You obviously get the odd idiot that has to try and ruin the vibe, but overall this is a great pub and you need to go if you haven't already.

The Brit, could go on about the good times in there all day! The new owners are also fab, kind, polite, helpful and most importantly a rate good laugh. The people are also fab, all of them get along and have a good time together. If your fed up go to the Brit because it cheers you right up no matter what. At the Brit we are a big family everyone loves each other so much. You get your knobs obviously but they never stay for long. Everyone would do anything for anyone and it’s great!!! If your reading this come for a pint.

new owners are terrible, misogynists, only care about regulars from other pub!! don’t go in here unless you want terrible treatment from new managers. pub wasn’t amazing as it was but with the new management it’s unbearable.

Not a nice place at all, felt very intimidated and felt as if i wasn’t welcome in there, would not recommend unless you drink here everyday and have been doing for several years.

Great location, great beer and a great beer garden. Some lads on here moaning about warm pints when it’s 30 degrees. Clearly not sinking them quick enough as they’re cold when they’re poured, think they best stick to Ribena and carrot sticks

Ignore the poor reviews below, its unfair that people who haven't even been to this pub are able to review it. Its a great place, made to feel so welcome by the new landlord, landlady, bar staff and regulars. Lovely beer garden and a great selection of drinks. A great little boozer, you'll be sorry if you don't give it a try.

Great pub, crisp pints, much improved with the new management.

Brilliant local pub friendly and inclusive atmosphere. Great selection of ale and shows all the live sport. Beer garden is an absolute sun trap. Nothing too much of an ask for the owners - don’t just my word for it though. Get yourself in and have a look for yourself.

Faulty towers would beat this place. Absolutely horrendous. Never again. No lights, mouldy food on sides, rust in Bath n bathroom sides, holes in the wall and door.

Great local Pub, friendly Landlord and staff, good pibt of Pedigree. Nice clean tidy pub. Proper lounge and a bar. Pool table, darts board. TV for sports. Digital jukebox and an outdoor smoking area, outdoor seating patio and afternoon sun trap.

Bit of a ropey place. Beer was ok. Not keen on the death metal turned up to 11.
