Popped in for a quick drink. Toilets abysmal 😑 staff not at all interested in knowing.

Was trying to eat my meal when the dog who looked friendly at first tried to put me on a lead and then continued to take me on a walk with no way home

Husband had lovely pie. I had jacket potato which was hard & only tepid. No checkback & staff not friendly. Also only had 1 zero alcohol choice

The toastie, chips and salad, at just £5 is such a good idea, but instead I opted for a jacket potato. A freshly prepared tuna mayo, with great side salad, the portion was plenty for lunch and only £8. Friendly staff, I'll definitely be back, thank you!

Excellent food outstanding quality and brilliant priced food, Makes a change not being ripped off. If you are ever in Tewkesbury please pay this pub a visit. We went on a Sunday for a roast dinner and it was outstanding quality and value. Staff are very friendly and welcoming, keep up the good work well done.

Great Breakfast at a great price

I wish I could give a positive review on this place as I was told good things about it. However upon arrival, I was told to get a seat I had to “stand up shake bum” according to one of the staff who then proceeded to aggressively grab my body parts. Luckily, he was pulled away soon after. Sat down, ordered a burger, and I was given the burger by a waiter with curly hair who then proceeded to do rancid actions on my food. I pushed him away and then he chased me to my Mini Cooper. Luckily I got inside before he reached me, however he started doing weird things to the exhaust pipe. Don’t believe me? Well I reported the pub to the EHO’s and it’s going to be under review soon. Overall, pretty intimidating experience.

Ample portions but unfortunately didn't taste as good as it looked.

Today’s special was a burger and chips for £4. They could have given me a rustlers burger and frozen chips for that price but they went way above and beyond. The burger was a very generous size (unfortunately the photo doesn’t quite show) and the homemade chips were cooked perfectly! On top of that, the service was great. Would definitely recommend 👍

Went in for a lunchtime drink staff very friendly

I have eaten here several times now from the normal menu and the Sunday menu and highly recommend both!! Fantastic pub in the centre of town that always has a comfortable and friendly atmosphere. Warm welcomes and cold beers at all times!!!!

I had the superbowl salad (the veggie option), can highly recommend! (No picture because I quickly demolished the bowl before I even thought about it). The staff are friendly, and the pub is dog friendly. Bring your dogs! :)

My wife and I have just had a lovely roast dinner here. Very tasty food and a friendly atmosphere. Dog friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended!

Great atmosphere, great staff. Just when door is closed it gets too hot, so unfortunately had to leave.

Menu limited but food excellent. Portions are generous and prices very reasonable. They do what they do very well.

Historical small but appealing pub with chatty bar staff, reasonable prices and a fun clientele. Closes unfortunately early (11pm Saturday) but well worth dropping by before moving on to the Nottingham Arms for last orders

Bar staff were miserable, DJ was awful, not a welcoming place at all. However the toilets were very clean.

A lovely old pub that serve excellent food. There were 7 of us around the table all with different choices but I was pleased to note no dislikes from any of the family. The meat was excellent quality and the rest of the ingredients were very fresh indeed. Staff very helpful and engaging to which I would definitely recommend as a pla e to visit.

The food was excellent, the atmosphere was welcoming and friendly and the staff were helpful well presented and made my birthday very special.

Beautiful pub have walked past many times, took my wife for luck and wow what amazing staff I'm guessing owner and chef was who I met and what lovely people made us feel so welcome! Great food great prices and slimming world options for my wife too!

We had a great night celebrating our wedding Anniversary here. Lovely local pub with great atmosphere and warm friendly staff. Food was good but not much of a choice for a gourmet pub like this. The lady serving us went out of her way to make our evening special and they even gave us a dessert on the house! Thank you for a lovely evening!

Nice staff but don't always tell the customers of there offers

Enjoy going in there most Saturdays. Had food in there today, but was a little concerned to see bottles of bleach on the working surface with an opened bottle of cleaning fluid, amounst the utensils being use for food prep. Just an observation to sort. Otherwise a great place

Traditional pub well suited on the High Street. Does morning coffee etc as well as traditional alcoholic drinks. Low lighting that makes it peaceful in the mornings.

What a great place to go, not as cheap as weather Spoons but nice and friendly, have an amasing comedy night o the first Thursday of each month

LOVE this place. Small pub run by warm, friendly and welcoming staff. Weekly pub quiz and other events held here too.

Interesting pub....... Staff are very polite and helpful and the food and drinks were good. The only downside was the slightly peculiar bunch of "regulars" who openly discussed there various wounds, seepages and discharges whilst eating and the pair closest to us weren't the freshest smelling human beings we'd ever encountered.
