The fish was off it stunk rotten i could smell it wasn’t right when i opened the bag and the chips hard, disappointing

Please don't waste your money it's the worst chip shop I've ever been to .I ordered a chip butty and gravy normally you'd get a proper bread bap but these skin flints gave me a small seeded bread bun and they tried to short change me .I think they serve frozen chips too 😡

confusing messages on delivery time when the food arrived it was warm (just) will not be ordering from there again

I hope Britannia reads their reviews because I would love them to succeed as they're local, & lovely people. However, there are no standards for food quality which makes every order inconsistent. Re-heated chips go hard on the edges and chewy in the centre, Kebab meat is often re-heated and tastes bland, and the texture is like rubber. Nan bread is either beautifully cooked or overcooked. Some orders have been great, whilst others I have thrown in the bin and re-ordered via just eat elsewhere. This is peoples money, and the least we deserve when parting with it is a consistent meal. Lovely people, poor quality on food.

Good little chippy plenty of choice nice pleasant staff. Decent prices.

Not bad staff need retraining on what items n products they sell and a recap on the customers know best and a crash course on manners and how to give you a level of customer service and not just play ignorance when you ask about a product for information ℹ️.

It's a bit hit and miss with this chippy if you time it that they have only just cooked everything its excellent but if not its really bad rock hard chips that are nearly cold and batter like concrete

This is our regular fish and chip shop, the service and food are both outstanding! The couple are lovely people and I don't mind waiting for the fresh food as they are so attentive!

Really fresh fish and chips just a long wait while they cook your food

Great quality! The chips were fresh outta the pan, red hot! The fish was too, really good portion size and so tasty, plenty of salt and vinegar to clog those there arteries! The couple were friendly and polite too, always a bonus, Onions rings, wedges and curry are beaut too,

Some things from here like the Nan bread are absolutely Beautiful, but the chips are often over cooked, the sausages are bland and the saveloys are microwaved. I use it as it's local but given another chippy was close by, I wouldn't go here.

Usally when I come here the chips are cooked fresh instead being left in the warmer for hours lovely food
