The staff are very friendly and welcoming and the service is always fast and reliable. The food is delicious, especially the slow cooked beef. Chips are always cooked to perfection. Very fairly priced too.

Did quite a mixed order and was not disappointed. Spam fritter was excellent and very good portion. Fish and chips were beautiful, fish was pure white. Veggie burger was lovely and salad very fresh. Beef in gravy with chips went down very well. Very good prices and excellent service. Would highly recommended.

People are lovely and friendly, they would get 5* as for the food OMG what did i buy? I was told the fish is small due to costs, I was fine with that, and its made to order, again fine at lest its not been sitting there all afternoon, so the fish is cooked, i didnt see what it looked like cooked, or the chips, so i get home and open it, WOW the fish was waffer thin and the batter? was this oily gloop that didnt even stick to the waffer thin fish it just slid off when i picked the fish up, it wasnt even batter as we know it, i cant even discribe it, as for the chips, what the hell!!! now we all love crispy chips, these should have been crispy with how brown they were, they wasnt, they were like days stale warmed up god knows how many times, so disapointing how this chippy has gone down hill. NEVER again will i buy from there

The food here is so good, great taste and great service, they also give a really good portion too. I would definitely recommend ocean chippy

Used to be a great chippy until new management took over. Absolutely disgusting food - avoid at all costs!

Just been, I got a fish Scollop , large sausage and large chips with 2 large gravy’s, the sausage came in a tray with my “large chips” which was not even half full , my scollop didnt have any taste of fish in it, just pure mash, I had to bin it because it was that bad, worst chip shop ever , sausage tasted so dry and burnt like it had been sat there hours.

We have been twice now first time I got Spam fritter with no Spam in it and hard chips , second time we went early in the day (opening time) and must have ended up with yesterday's chips warmed up with gravy granules still hard in the gravy...I can't imagine this chip shop will be open much longer.. worst chips shop ever..if I could give less than one star I would!!!

Didnt enjoy my chips, tasted like warm ups. My husbands fish was ok. We wont be calling again.

Called saturday .looked like changed owner .. chips use to be great there . But now had some saturday had to throw them in bin that bad all hard not good

We used to go to the chippy round the corner. Used this one when the other had major cues. Chips are done just how I like them, dark and soft cooked to perfection traditional style, not that new fangled crispy fluffy shitza. Extra bonus is it was cheaper. Staff were stressed on the day but Cleethorpes was well crowded. Despite this they were pleasant and efficient. THIS IS OUR NEW GO TO CHIPPY. FANTASTIC
