This has the potential to be a great place - the room itself is pretty impressive. However I didn't get any sense that the offering was intended to be any more than average. I understand that the staff are part-time - maybe only match day - but they were keen. However £6 for a bottle of Thatchers and a coke is a little steep, and I'll leave readers to draw their own conclusion about the 'pepperoni' pizza we received!

Visited both Pre and Post match at Bristol v Wasps rugby match. Great large screen sports being shown and very good music being played. We ate on the first floor gallery and enjoyed our food, especially the fish & chips. Service was a bit sketchy to be honest. The atmosphere was good though.

As a life-long Bristol City fan I was taken here for lunch on my 60th birthday it was a non- match day so very quiet. Food and service was OK. They are learning as the stadium is just being completed. Typical pub type food (pies, burgers, steak, fish and chips, etc) and a few children's meals (pizza, burger, fish fingers) available.

There were no draught beers or lagers available because the refrigerators had been turned off. Major items on the menu were not available. The menu depicted the national flag of England with fish and chips alongside and Ireland with a pie both of which were ordered but not available. Against the Welsh flag was shown curried chicken which was OK as were gammon dishes. Unfortunately a steak that was ordered as medium rare came out totally overcooked, dry and almost inedible and a great struggle to eat without a steak knife. This is a new venture with tremendous potential but currently I will definitely NOT revisit.

I visit regularly. Sad that it closes on 16th May. It's got a bit scruffy looking for that reason. I had the £8 steak lunch today which was good. Staff are always attentive and friendly.

Restaurant shouldn’t exist full-stop. Unsalted chips, Chicken wrap was anything but spicy despite the whole place being named after a chilli sauce. When asked for ketchup and mayo I was only given two little ketchup packets. The sandwich is subpar and was wrapped unprofessionally. 1/5.

Disappointing and Overpriced I recently visited this smoked meat restaurant and was left underwhelmed. I ordered a variety of items including a burger, corn ribs, and pork rashers, but all were served lukewarm and lacked flavor. The biggest disappointment was the “brisket mac and cheese” at £8.40—no brisket, just a tiny portion of mac and cheese. When I raised this with the manager, I was told the high price was due to importing the brisket from the U.S., yet there was no brisket in sight. While they did offer a discount, it didn’t make up for the poor value. For the price, I expected far better. Sadly, there are much better establishments out there for smoked meat lovers.
