We (family of 9) visited this Restaurant after a funeral at Newhills Cemetery. No menus, had to order on phone which was Ridiculous as not all of us had phones suitable to do this. After waiting for ages, the girl Gave us paper cups whichever was suitable Hot or cold and we all had to go to the machine and self serve. The coffee was disgusting! Later the girl tells us the coffee beans were old and should have been replaced. Very, very limited and poor menu. We had to wait ages for 7 burgers, 1 breakfast and one steak pie! The breakfast was very small, Not very appetising at all. The chips came in Paper boxes (and were frozen chips) as did the burgers! After we had Finished our burgers the girl sorry Said no steak pie! She then offered my husband A burnt scotch pie on its own in a paper box which was cold. On asking him what he would like next he said a scone will be fine!! The scone was old and solid!! This was a family just coming from a funeral to enjoy a chat and something to eat and it turned into a shambles. I would definitely avoid this restaurant at all costs. It is a disgrace. Very disappointed.

Before covid we went here very regularly for a good “home cooked” lunch & was delighted to see that it had re-opened & was looking forward to going back. We tried to book but was advised we didn’t have to which I thought strange as they used to take bookings. Upon arrival , the refurbished restaurant was beautiful but was dissapointed that we had to order everything on the app & even more disappointed when we seen the choice of meals available - basically chicken fillets, burgers, chips & no specials! We decided to order and when the food came it was presented in a cardboard box with wooden forks & knives!!! The new cuisine was basically not to the standards of the “old” bistro & if you like basic carry out food this is the place to go!! Unfortunately I appreciate they are having to recover after the effects of the pandemic, but we will not be visiting here again as this new style of dining isn’t for us

Been before for coffees and breakfast and always been 8mpressed. Today went with cousins for lunch and we were all impressed. Beautiful setting on a clear sunny winters day, very good well priced menu and the service was friendly and prompt. We all enjoyed our various meals, scampi, steak and bl@ck pudding pie, chicken curry and toastier and chips. Big portions, well presented and tasty. Would recommend to everyone. Just a pity they aren’t open early evenings.

Had a lovely meal at Brimmond Bistro with family and also our dog - the food was amazing, especially the burgers! The staff were very warm and friendly and we found it to be a great spot to sit outside in the sun and relax. We’ll definitely be back!

We had a pod "outside" , which was a real novelty, a great lunch with excellent attentive service. I wasn't expecting much having been to plenty golf clubs but this was totally different in food and experience. Our group was 4 adults and 3 children with plenty room in the pod. Children's food was brilliant with a drink and dessert at a fixed price, the burger and sausages were not the standard frozen catering type but fresh butcher's meat. Full Sunday roast was delicious with the beef expertly done and all the usual veg and Yorkshire pudding. Desserts and coffees great and what we liked about the food most was that the menu was not extensive and they focussed on the daily specials. Excellent service from the 2 ladies also made the lunch a success, nothing was any bother even though they had to go in and out of the bistro to serve us and check we were ok. We would go again with the children have recommended it to friends already.

Called in after a walk Brimmond Hill and although associated with the golf club greeted with a friendly welcome and experienced very good service. Choose the fish dish from the daily menu board which was tasty and enjoyable. Good Clipper tea although machine coffee mediocre. Breakfast menu looked good so will be back.

My family visited Brimmond Bistro for lunch today. We were lucky to have lunch in one of the special sphere pods overlooking the golf course. My children absolutely loved this novel idea, and comfortably seated our group of 6 giving a lovely view of the surrounding golf course. Most of our group ordered paninis, which were generously filled and of great quality. Another group member had the all-day breakfast which included high quality ingredients, he especially enjoyed the butchers quality sausage. Lovely, friendly service and great food, we will definitely visit again when we visit Aberdeen in the future.

Lovely dining area with back drop onto the Golf Course. Friendly staff. I had a ham salad which was really nice with bowl of chips, my daughter had the same. They have soup specials/dish of the day. They have some small pods outside which you can eat in, remind me of a space shuttle.

The boys at the caravan site recommended that I should try Cullen Skin if I ever got the chance. Well I did and the dish was lovely. Traditional Scottish Cullen Skink is also known as Smoked Haddock Chowder, an easy to make, hearty and filling soup making it a meal in itself.

I eat here often and can honestly say that I love the food and atmosphere. This place is a little out of the city but situated in a beautiful setting with a plethora of stunning walks really close not to mention the great and challenging round of golf that Craibstone offers. The food is lovely and the staff are welcoming and friendly. Definitely worth a visit.
