Gran pub. Sin lujos. Hace lo que dice en la lata y el mejor boozer para una pinta pre tren. A menudo lleno de muchachos petroleros hablando de chat de petróleo, pero siempre con buen ánimo y en cualquier lugar que haga Orkney’s Dark Island on tap obtiene mi voto.

I didn't have food so I can not comment, however, the service was second to none, lovely girls behind the bar, it's reasonably priced for a city centre pub, it can get very busy but the atmosphere was great people talking to each other and strangers becoming friends, I true proper pub, 👍

Un bar horrible no recomendaría que un barman horrible rechazara otra bebida. Me hizo sentir muy avergonzado a pesar de que solo había tomado 1 bebida antes en brewdog y luego 1 allí. . . Después de un largo viaje en autobús de casi 2 horas. Entiendo que pueden rechazar a quien quieran pero ni siquiera estaba borracho. No lo aconsejaría y no volvería. Muchos otros bares mejor...

Nice looking traditional pub had nice atmosphere. Me and my friend came all the way to see a band in another venue so decided to pop in on way. I ordered a gin & lemonade ( flora) which was on special so thought I would try it. It wasn't to my taste but still drank it ( as paid for it). I went back up to bar to order another drink ( something different) as didn't enjoy what I ordered ( wasn't barmans fault for my choice) and I was refused!!!!!! I was actually quite taken back as I had been sat on a bus for nearly 2 hours to get to Aberdeen and had only went in one bar brewdog and had a small glass of wine, at first I thought he was joking?????? But no he was actually serious!!!!!! I review lots of places as I work in hospitality. I would have given 5* but I was made to feel so embarrassed in front of everyone in the pub. There was a works night out who were even taken back by my refusal. I get my friend was very load but she suffers from bi-polar disorder and I am blind in one eye so maybe he looked at my eye and decided not to serve me as it half closes sometimes. But there was no other reason for me not to get served in there. Not given stars for food as had none. I never got the gentlemans name which I should have but he was in his 30's with dark brown short hair and very much had an attitude. Wouldn't advise this pub if coming from another town. Felt very embarrassed.

Honest pub, no gimmicks. Always begin or end here on a night out.

A proper pub and ideally situated next to the railway station and bus depot Proper barmen, proper customers and proper beer.

Was very pleasantly surprised with the service, choice of drinks and atmosphere. We felt very welcome and will definitely be back.

Stopped off for a refreshing pint in this very welcoming old style pub. Traditional decor. Very friendly & helpful staff. Mixture of ages made it a comfortable environment. Will definitely visit again. Disabled toilet needs a new sink tap as tending to spray out .Staff noted my comment & said they would promptly attend to it. Good pub !

Late afternoon drink after a lunch elsewhere. Service could not be faulted, not overly busy at time we were there, hence atmosphere rating. Overall very good, will go back.

Esta casa de cerveza estaba cerca de Leonardo Aberdeen, donde nos alojamos unos días en Aberdeen. Preferimos este lugar debido a la cálida bienvenida que recibimos nada más entrar. No estaba lleno de gente y tranquilo , ideal para tomar una copa antes de irse a la cama. No nos importaba visitar el salón del hotel, esta casa de Ale era auténtico, verdadero pub. Tuvimos la oportunidad de ver a Jess, el perro del pub.

Great atmosphere and a very friendly service, clean tables and. ABusy friendly crowd

Me and the wife were staying at the leonardo hotel across the road and decided to drop in for a drink. We ended up staying for a few hours. Very friendly pub with great bar staff who were very smartly dressed and friendly, the music playing was very good too. Would highly recommend for those staying at the hotel or just in aberdeen for a visit drop in for a drink, you won't be disappointed.

Proper old school boozer of which there are less and less each year, sadly. Orkney dark Island on cask, and toasties which, again, are a rare sight nowadays. Old guys watching TV, couples chatting, it's timeless and a piece of history, but here and now. Really liked it in here, will be back!

Stayed in Aberdeen for a few days, made this our local on the way back to the hotel. Not the biggest of pubs, but staff are friendly and a nice relaxing atmosphere.

Good choice of whisky and beers, reasonable price and the place looked very clean. Fully recommend.

Dropped in for a quick drink prior to the train with my son and daughter. Bar staff seemed off hand but served our drinks and took our money. They then, having served us and taken our money, asked for ID for my son and daughter. They are 16 and 17 and were having a Coke. As as they are not 18, they told us they couldn’t stay and sarcastically pointed out that it said no children on the door. Well, I entered first and am registered blind so I couldn’t read the sign on the way in. It wouldn’t have taken much for them to politely point out that children aren’t allowed prior to serving us and taking my money. All somewhat duplicitous with no concern or understanding for those who can’t see. Made the kids feel really uncomfortable too for which I felt bad. All in all in unexpectedly unpleasant experience which is a shame as the place itself seemed quite nice outwardly.

Fantastic pub. Smartly dressed bartender who is exceptionally attentive and keeps the place nice and tidy. Very friendly vibe and plenty of seats. Within a few minutes walk of the station (in fact, sitting in the right place you can even see it!) What a fantastic establishment and would recommend to all.

Just popped in for a quick pint before catching a bus. It was quiet, but was fine for my pint. Recommended

Always a great friendly bar with good bartenders and clients. And the only bar in Aberdeen(as i know of) that has the Dark Ale from Orkney Brewery on tap 😊.

We've popped into Aitchies a couple of times for some liquid refreshment and found it to be a nice little cozy place. Quite popular with limited seating. Staff friendly, beer and wine great.
