Social Bite in Aberdeen City

Nice and friendly staff as was my food.

Great food, cooked really well. fast delivery. 10/10 service.

Had a humus bagel for lunch the other day, the cashier at the till (seemed like she was new) she was friendly, the manager wasn’t so friendly - seemed to have an attitude with the other girl. The bagel was dry, the spinach or the greens they had was old and there wasn’t much humus - overall it felt like it’s been sitting in the fridge for a couple of days. Not many choices either. I work nearby so won’t be back and don’t recommend.

22.8.23 update - further to my review below, Matthew from the local Social Bite shop got in touch with us last week - apparently the booking system that companies used previously for ordering food should have been updated and we would have then been unable to place the order we did. The situation has now been resolved and we have been given the local shop contact details for placing any future orders. We received an order today from them which was a complimentary order due to the issue highlighted and we would have to say that the food is fresh, delivered on time and looks tasty and went down a treat with those in our office that had it. Thank you and we won`t hesitate to order from you again in the future now. ***************************************************************** Sadly I`m having to rate this overall as a 1 star. Today, we were expecting delivery lunch for 13 people which had been ordered online (via our account) in plenty of time and we received an acknowledgement to our order but unfortunately no lunch was received. I left 2 voicemail messages on different lines to find out where our order was, incase it had been delayed for some reason and also sent an email. At the time of writing this review (over 2hrs after expected delivery time, there is still no lunch delivered and no response to the voicemail messages or email. I`ll look to receiving your acknowledgement reason as to why no lunch was delivered.

Really lovely staff and super friendly and welcoming to me and my puppy! He’s now a regular visitor and we enjoy popping in for chats and delicious food, also amazing coffee!

Aquí tomo un café una vez a la semana y, a veces, un sándwich o un pastel. La calidad es muy buena, el personal es amable y la filosofía del plan de negocios es muy buena, es decir, el beneficio se destina a ayudar a las personas sin hogar de varias maneras.

Siempre vaya al Social en Edimburgo y Glasgow debido a su caridad, pero decepcionado con la elección limitada, posiblemente causada por su ubicación. En la próxima visita espero una opción más amplia

Nice little sandwich shop with a social conscience

Un bonito y pequeño café. Los ingresos van hacia las personas sin hogar de la ciudad. Taburetes de la ventana para sentarse, así que tal vez sea mejor para llevar en lugar de comer a veces. No he estado por un tiempo, pero recuerdo que hay bastantes opciones vegetarianas.

Consistent quality and service and all for a good cause - what's not to like

Nice coffee, tasty sandwiches, great staff service and all for a good cause. They have a loyalty card scheme allowing automatic donation of hot drinks for homeless. Also they offer the opportunity for you to subsidise hot meals for homeless. They also offer catering for local business meetings.
