Visit the team room and I ordered the Bowland breakfast which consisted of 2 sausage 2 bacon 1 egg small pot of beans tomatohash brown black pudding 2 toast with tea £16.80 (£13.95 breakfast £2.80 tea) I was given my tea immediately the hot water dispensed from a metal tea urn so wasn’t really piping hot, my breakfast arrived approximately 10 mins later presented on what I would call a medium size plate I think to give the illusion there was a lot on the plate, standard of the food was good but I have to admit I have had better and cheaper and looking at the menu everything seems slightly more expensive than other establishments sorry Bridge House i won’t be recommending you 👎

I did the Way of the Roses cycle route from Morecambe to Bridlington over 3 days Fri-Sun at end May/begin of June with a friend. This cafe provided a perfect first day morning coffee stop as it was just 16 miles out from Morecambe, just off the route in a lovely setting with lots of lovely outdoor seating areas in sun or shade. There was also indoor seating for if the weather had not been so good. We had a flat white and a tea both with oat milk which came to £6.50 which I thought was pretty reasonable compared to your average Starbucks or decent local cafe experience. My partner was providing us with support in his car, and he was able to meet up with us and there was plenty of parking space. He also managed to buy a gift card and some BBQ sauce from the shop. So everyone was happy!!

A pleasant stop over for coffees and cakes and a relaxing sit in the sun. Didn't seem overly expensive and prices were on a par with other tea rooms in the forest of Bowland. A lovely little garden centre to wander round and a small gift shop to entice you to part with more money! Would recommend buying some of the back bacon on sale in the deli. Had it for breakfast the next day. Delicious!

We regularly use this lovely little spot as we are part of several car clubs. The owner looks after each group, meeting us and helping us park up. Banners welcome each club. The cafe is well appointed and provides lovely, homemade food. As food is freshly prepared, there is sometimes a bit of a wait when large groups arrive, but it is definitely worth waiting for. We have never been disappointed at this venue.

Visited the cafe as part of a car event, and they had pre-booked lunch. If the table hadn't already been booked, we would have eaten elsewhere. As a vegetarian, the offerings were exceedingly poor, a cheese and onion sandwich, a mozzarella panini or a veggie lasagne. My husband and I both went for the cheese sandwich, with a tea and a coffee. Couldn't believe that it came to £28 for just two slices of plain white bread with a bit of cheese. We will not be visiting again.

We were hugely disappointed after recently visiting Bridge House Farm. The atmosphere is quite nice but it was empty when we went, and if you're upstairs no one comes up to check if everything's OK. The food was pretty good, we each had a main course - good flavours but the portions were tiny. We were genuinely surprised, because the prices were not! There were 3 of us, no children - but the portions would have possibly suited a child. At those prices we would have expected to at least feel full. As we ate, I added some vinegar to my lunch, and at the same time, my son did too. We continued to eat, and both realised something tasted odd. The vinegar was off. It tasted weird and it had lost all acidity. I touched it and it left a brown mark on my fingers and had a strange smooth consistency. I tasted it straight from the pack - it was almost oily. It was very unpleasant. I checked the packs, which were now all over our 3 lunches... Dated 2023, and even more unbelievably - 2022! I took the packets down and spoke to the lady at the counter, who I assume was the proprietor - She said "Oh, right", and took the tray from me. Incredibly, she did not even offer a word of apology. Nothing. So overall a really disappointing experience. Overpriced. Under delivered. Out of date produce. And sadly lacking in good customer service. And it cost me nearly £50!

Had a great lunch here, all the food was excellent, my wife had the quiche and salad, all fresh and tasty, and I had the best steak pie I can remember since my mum's from fifty years ago. The steak was plentiful, tender and juicy accompanied by great chips, healthy and tasty veg, and great gravy. We alll had orange juice freshly made while we watched. We followed it with huge ice cream cones which were almost like two scopes rather than one. Service was both friendly and prompt. As well as the quality of the food, it's also in a great spot. We all really enjoyed it and I look forward to coming back to have their full English breakfast!

Service from order to serving is really slow. This is bad enough, but on at least two occasions the staff have lost my order. The Bridge House had been a favourite cycling cafe stop for over 15 years. Always very plaesant staff and excellent food. I had heard that it had changed hands a year or 2 ago and we haven't been for over a year. However, after yesterday's experience....never again! We arrived at 1230, a few people sat outside and 2 couples in front of us. One younger lady taking orders and another lady in the kitchen. Simple order...one soup and one full breakfast. 50 minutes later, the food was "dumped" (soup almost tipped over) at our table by the lady from the kitchen. No comments or apologies for the delay. One mouthful of the soup - enough salt to last a year! Tasteless due to overpowering salt! My bacon and sausage had been cremated and barely edible - clearly "warming" since opening time!Very simple - if you're short staffed, please just let us know when we're ordering.Other diners complaining too and returning to the counter to ask if they'd forgotten their order. In summary....customer service =1/10. Food = 0/10.Such a shame as this used to be great little cafe. We won't be returning and would advise fellow cyclists to keep pedaling and head elsewhere....perhaps The Tea Rooms at Hornby, 2 miles away.

The soup was passable although only a tiny portion was served. The sandwich (cheese & chutney) was made with cheap grated cheese that was utterly tasteless. The coffee was even worse...lukewarm and weak. The picturesque village of Wray nestles on the banks of the River Roeburn. It plays host to the famous annual Scarecrow Festival and Wray Fair in the week leading up to the May Bank Holiday.Well worth a visit anytime though, as is the Bridge House Tea Rooms and Garden Centre. A lovely barn conversion houses the cafe in fine country style over two floors. A small but varied menu offers freshly made luncheon dishes and an all day breakfast. Arriving shortly after opening at 10 am., we enjoyed a lovely bacon barm cake with a cup of real coffee before setting out on a walk along the River Roeburn and a stroll around the village. Back into the cafe for lunch before looking into the small attached garden centre and gift shop. I couldn't resist the Thai Chicken Burger on a toasted bun with chips, sweet chilli sauce and coleslaw, accompanied by a bottle of 'Singletrack Black', a very dark beer from the Kirby Lonsdale Brewery. Must be the best burger ever! The cafe caters for a wide range of visitors - walkers, cyclists, bikers, kids and golden oldies (dogs are welcome too). There is a large car park, plenty of crafty gift ideas, indoor or outdoor eating areas, children's play area etc. Special nights include classic motorcycles on the first of every month. An unusual and lovely place.

We were between two garden visits and one garden owner recommended this cafe to us, and we were so glad he did. A wonderful selection of specials from the blackboard together with a good menu of regulars made choosing a difficult thing to do as so many things tempted us. We had splendid food, served cheerfully and in a very friendly way in lovely surroundings. It was easy to park and there is a small garden centre and shop for garden things. Well worth a detour from the M6. Highly recommended.

I have been frequenting this establishment for several years and now go there at least once per week. I think that I can be designated a 'regular'. There are several scenic routes to get there by car, motorcycle, pedal cycle and on foot - you can go one way and return by another, so this is an added bonus. It can also be the starting point for delightful walks of great variety. This farm building has had a sympathetic yet functional conversion which is an overture to the quality and range of food on offer. I can say with confidence (having tried almost everything) that I have had nothing but the best of experiences. The staff are warm and friendly, the service is good even when they are busy, and the eating experience is a joy.The two Karens who perform miracles in the kitchen are to be commended for both setting, achieving and maintaining a first-class standard in all aspects of the place. Well done !!

Called in on Good Friday and we had lunch there. The children had a picnic in a box, and really enjoyed their 'gigantic jammy dodger'. My mum & I both had the Chicken Caesar Salad. This was really, really enjoyed by us both. A very tasty salad, lovely succulent chicken all with a Caesar dressing. I'll def have that again next time we call. The bonus is, afterwards there's some outside play equipment for the children to go on and a garden centre and gift shop for us to browse round.Plenty of parking.

Called in at the garden centre here the other day and was amazed at the quality and pricing of all the nice crafts and things in the shop - so much so that we made another trip there today to buy a hat that I'd seen. Whilst there we thought we would try out their cafe and I'm so glad that we did - the food was exceptional - very tasty and good sized portions too.We will definitely be going back - the loyalty card makes it especially worth visiting again!

This is a lovely place for a pot of tea and a yummy home-made cake after a stroll through the ancient village of Wray, or a longer walk up Roeburndale. There are cooked snacks and a lunch menu, which we didn't try. It is also open one evening per week for a set dinner (reservations necessary). Local artists exhibit here. Large car park, a playground and big field for kids and a small garden centre with garden gift shop. Lovely atmosphere and pleasant place to have a conversation- big comfy sofas upstairs.

Having been there for a morning coffee earlier in the year, we wanted somewhere doing a breakfast so we could have an early start from home and a long day out. The Bridge does all day breakfasts and it is good! They open at 10.00 am, which suited us exactly, and the food was freshly cooked, excellent quality and in good quantity. The value was great. It is very popular with walking groups who set out from the car park and do a circular walk up the river valley. Not to be missed if you are in the area. The morning coffee and scones were excellent too.!

Visited the cafe before a trip to the castle. Staff were extremely welcoming and friendly. Lovely atmosphere and cafe was warm and inviting on a cold January day. Coffees were made to perfection, as were the good and cakes. We will definately be back.

We have visited in the past and always been reasonably happy. Today was not a good experience. The bread was stodgy for both the egg mayonnaise baguette and the rarebit. The egg was congealing and the ‘seasonal salad’ was just a mishmash of little bits! So rather expensive at £27.85 for the above plus two traybakes and a small pot of tea. Sadly highly unlikely to return.
