Great staff a good place to visit

Great food and atmosphere. However my lunch was cut short by 4 business people in suits that came in and started arguing about whose fault it was they didn’t sell enough cat towers.

I first went to the bridge cafe in 1989 first impressions were not good but my word do they know what they are doing. Went back after contact and Gerry still remembers me. What a gent. Great food and atmosphere hence 5 stars.

A little gem !!!!! Just had a perfectly cooked breakfast. Friendly and prompt service. Very clean premises and priced ok. Very handy for the thousands of people that work in the industrial area south of the A40 at Alliance Road, Kendal Ave etc.

Popped in when visiting Kew Archives and watching John Bishops show. If only JB was as good as the Bridge breakfast.

If you imagine a traditional greasy spoon cafe this is what you would get. However the food is not greasy it's perfectly cooked, the menu is simple with all your cafe favourites traditional breakfasts, sausage, egg & chips etc The owners are wonderful very friendly Yes it's the cafe from the apprentice but it's so much more then that one of the best cafes I've been to in a while perfect in every way if your looking for a artisan posh style cafe go somewhere else if your looking for somewhere with good food, drinks and service clean and tidy with high standards then the bridge cafe is a must.

Back many years ago this was "George's" cafe. I used to go there with a 6pence coin to buy my Mother 5 cigarettes ! so many memories of this place.!!

A classic apprentice café for the losers

Arrived late today, but the service was fantastic.

Friendly builders cafe. Good eggs and bacon, black pudding, hash browns and bubble. Outside tables catch the sun. Cafe where they filmed the end of The Apprentice. YOU HAVE BEEN FIRED mugs on sale . Beware Alliance Road bad road surface + width restrictions ! New tables and chairs inside.

If you are a fan of the tv show "The apprentice UK" this place is a must! I have to say that it was the best part of my trip to London. The people working in there are awesome! They are mega friendly and will help you if you want to take some pictures. They have cups from the tv show (I bought one) and they offer a small menu to eat there. Please note that you can pay only in cash.

Traditional 'caff' with no nonsense grub, piping hot and served promptly. Proper baked potato was delicious. The owners, who recognised us for the Apprentice fans we are, could not have been more welcoming. A little gem, long may it thrive.

First visit as I wanted to experience the 'losers cafe' from the first few series of the Apprentice. Traditional down to earth cafe - mostly cooked breakfast type food. Good service from the staff. Fair price and well cooked food. Old fashion decor - but helps it maintain a traditional cafe atmosphere Limited free street parking outside. Recommend it

As a fan of The Apprentice I just had to visit! Lovely quaint cafe and great hot chocolate! If I were to lose a task on The Apprentice, I wouldn't be complaining about coming here! The owners were lovely, came over to chat to us after guessing we were Apprentice fans and told us about the area and stories from the cafe and even offered to take a photo of us outside. Definitely worth the visit :)

Popped in here as I heard that a star from this series apprentice, the 'I quite like bitter' guy is a local here. Being a gluten intolerant vegan, it can often be tricky for me to find a place that can cater to my allergies so I was thrilled to find this little gem. The great thing about their vegan brunch is not only can your experience be made bottomless, you'll chow down on everything from baked aubergine fritters to celeriac toast with scrambled tofu. DELICIOUS. I saw some posters up about their hot yoga classes which sounded great, practitioners get the chance to achieve strength and flexibility for both mind and body. Def keen to try that next time. 5 stars

As an apprentice buff I just had to try this place out and was hoping for a cheeky glimpse of some stars from the show. Did not disappoint! In terms of the experience I have a severe peanut allergy so they agreed to remove all peanuts off the menu for the day and gave the place a deep clean to ensure there were no traces before I turned up. Unfortunately I went into a rather nasty anaphylaxic shock anyway but it was ok as the staff are all CPR trained and the manager is a paramedic on the side (CHEERS 4 HEROES) Anyway excellent meal and I even got to take a photo of the ‘tastes really bitter’ guy from the apprentice! How lucky he happened to be there that day. He was eating a Thai masaman curry(hope it was extra bitter for him). If you call up in advance they can let you know the dates the apprentice are booked to film there. Although I don’t advise going then unless you’re ok with spoilers

Since this place changed hands Jean Fredderik Martines (ex soho house) has transformed this place (famous for the apprentice). Menu along Fire, Earth, Water & Space and Air, it's a real gem in this area. Popular with cyclists (think tech, man-buns & lycra) have changed the vibe from the older construction clientele, and the excellent wi-fi, power sockets and coffee is a great place to take the Mac and mix a bit of business and pleasure in a relaxed environment. Private Cycle storage round the back is handy, if like me and my business partner have expensive carbon framed bikes and don’t want to leave on the street. Menu wise I had the house Soul-Bowl (plant based buddah) and a chai latte - not bad under £20. The place teams up with local Yoga and Crossfit, so a good catch up with the guys after, over Fuss-Ball and retro computer games like Pac-man. Breakfast wise Retro 90s cereals (a bit done) and Vegan Patisserie. An Organic farm shop sells a good selection and highly recommend a Pommergramit Molaise, Italian sourced is amazing, and not bad and just over £15. Recommend this place.

Good place to come when you’ve lost a task and at least one of you will be fired.

Good breakfast at a very reasonable price

Great tea and a decent fry up. Open again after a very long pandemic shutdown. Frank and Gerry in residence and serving a great breakfast and good humour as usual. The home made Bubble and Squeak particularly good.

This cafe is a gem, a wonderful Community Cafe, run by volunteers, serving fresh cafetière coffee, tea, freshly made sandwiches, toasties and wonderful cakes. The fayre is very reasonably priced and your always sure of a warm welcome.

Seems like a good place for losing teams to air their differences. Watch out though, the slow witted will find themselves ganged up on and the blame pinned on them.

Nice for arguing over business ideas for anything business like.

I haven't been there before but I know that if there are an angry group of people arguing about a project, you should not talk to them as one of them are about to have their business ambitions absolutely obliterated.

Al final del día, puede parecer una inmersión, pero este café es el escondite perfecto para cuando un hombre es un poco tonto.Me encontré aquí un poco demasiado últimamente, en algunos de los días más oscuros en un poco de escombros de Barney. Pero por 90 p por taza y un cuarto de libra que me llamó la atención varias veces, este lugar definitivamente merecía un saludo. Me quedé muy impresionado con el Bridge Cafe, la comida está hecha fresca y variada de opciones de menú, y las porciones son enormes. Pedí la oferta de comida de sándwich, que venía con patatas fritas y una bebida caliente (3.49) que era realmente buena y mucho mejor que la Costa al otro lado de la carretera.El personal era muy amable y sugirió opciones. ¡Recomendar!

He estado usando este café durante varios años en forma regular. Incluso después de un largo descanso, aún pueden recordar mi pedido (2 huevos, tocino, fritos, papitas fritas, papitas fritas, 1 rebanada por bebe y un café). Es un plato enorme de comida recién hecha. El personal siempre es agradable. Caf está limpio. El estacionamiento puede ser un problema, pero hay un estacionamiento de pago y exhibición a la vuelta de la esquina o en la calle después de las 0930 (creo que es el momento adecuado, pero es mejor revisar las señales).

This was one of our favourite cafes but we waited quite a while to be served even though there was not many customers. I went to the ladies loo and the sink was awful. The whole place needed a good clean.

Estábamos visitando desde Escocia y nos detuvimos para tomar panecillos de desayuno y té. La comida estaba recién preparada y realmente deliciosa (gracias Aaron)Frank nos hizo sentir realmente bienvenidos y se tomó el tiempo de sentarnos con nosotros y charlar. Nos reímos mucho y disfrutamos muchísimo de esta hospitalidad tan antigua. Es un gran lugar y definitivamente regresaremos más tarde en el año en nuestro próximo viaje a Londres.PD: A nuestro hijo le encantó el souvenir Bridge Cafe Mug. Disappointed to make a trip from Norwich, after checking onthe Bridge Cafe page that it was open, to go all that way to find a note on the door saying closed until 02/01/2019. Shame the opening times weren’t updated on the web page to save people the inconvenience.

Hemos visitado varias veces y un viaje a Londres no está completo sin un viaje hasta aquí. Siempre caminamos desde la estación de metro de West Acton en la línea Central y está a 10 minutos a pie, pero vale la pena el esfuerzo. La comida es buena, honesta comida casera - nada flash, simplemente decente, pero los propietarios son geniales. Son tan amables y felices de hablar sobre The Apprentice y son personas.

A reasonable cafe, good prices and friendly staff. Food was below average though, cooked breakfast was very basic, just sausage, bacon, egg and beans. No black pudding, hash browns, mushrooms, fried bread etc... The portion size was fine, but just felt it would have benefited from more options.

Generoso servicio de hamburguesa de filete en rollo, frijoles horneados y chips crujientes, cebollas fritas, amigo tenía lo mismo pero no frijoles, pero ensalada, té verde y un café. La orden fue entregada rápidamente, no nos hizo apegarse al menú y estaba caliente.

Came as I'm big fan of the apprentice. It was unreal! Granted it's just a older style cafe, but the service was fantastic! Really nice guys working here and service and politeness was outstanding! Very happy

This is a great cafe the best food and frank and Gerry are a great laugh highly recommended it looks a little old from the out side not Gerry the cafe it's self but the foods good 😊

We visited this place primarily because it's the (uk) apprentice loser's cafe. (Get off tube at West Acton and walk about a mile) Ordered three full English breakfasts. Food and tea were great. Had a lovely chat with the owners. A couple of diamond geezers ;-)

Always a friendly welcome in this traditional English cafe, had omelette chips and bubble with a decent mug of tea, outside tables catch the sun, enjoy the full English and thank your lucky stars that places like this are still open - too many pricey and poncey eateries abound. Grandes admiradores de The Apprentice y tuvieron que venir y experimentar una buena cerveza y un kit kat en nuestro camino a casa desde ese Londres, y definitivamente no nos decepcionó tan pronto como entras, te saludan calurosamente e incluso responden a todos tus aprendices relacionados preguntas! También tienen algunas tazas de recuerdo relacionadas con Aprendices, que por supuesto tuvimos que tener cada una de ellas, esta es una cafetería adecuada, las cervezas eran de un buen tamaño y precio, y aunque en esta ocasión no comíamos solo un kit de kat, definitivamente íbamos. espalda. What can you say about this Iconic café, made famous by "The Apprentice". We understand that Frank and Gerry have owned the Café for 52 years and never changed the menu. We can see why. It was really worth the effort in finding this Café tucked away in the leafy suburbs of London. The egg and chips were fantastic. Thanks Frank and Gerry for making us so welcome.

As you would expect this is a typical builders cafe or greasy spoon. Prices are low, tea is strong, menu is limited and typical unhealthy fare of breakfasts and pie & chips etc. No toilets. If you are after a cup of tea and fry up great - if you want something else or more go elsewhere.....

We went there to surprise the kids, having watched The Apprentice. We had a excellent breakfast and the two men running it were very friendly and talkative.

Visiting London again we had to revisit this café. They were happy to talk about the Apprentice again and we had 4 meals and drinks. This ain't a classy joint. It's clean but rough around the edges but the 2 men who run it (Frank and Joe I believe) couldn't be friendlier. The food was well cooked, delivered quickly and they don't take your money until you're ready to leave.We'll visit every time we come to London probably. It's a Yes from me!

Took my mum as part of a birthday trip to London, she is big apprentice fan.Frank the owner was very kind answering all our question about the filming of the apprentice.We only stopped for a cup of tea but it was a good one! There were a few other people eating......it looked good! Definitely worth the trip, nice tube ride to West Acton then a 5 min walk up the road, but tucked away, we nearly missed it.

This is a proper greasy spoon cafe at the back of the industrial estate. You will get your tea from a mug with a filling fry up. Quality is not important here. Quantity and price are OK. Of course, this is the losers place for they apprentice so you will get tourists trying to get a latte. They do it but I haven't tried. It took them some time to think about it but you can now buy your 'You're fired!" mug. 4th star is only because of the apprentice.

The Bridge Cafe, is a perfect example of a Great British "worker's cafe". Also affectionately known in London as a "Greasy Spoon".Walk in, order what you want, with a mug of tea and take a seat. Five minutes later, a plate full of hot food arrives.As always, I went for Sausage, chips, beans, mushrooms and gravy. It was A1.Also this establishment features as the losers cafe in UK TV programme "The Apprentice", by the BBC.

Always see this place on a certain telly programme which you could probably guess... They try to make it look on telly as grim as possible.... It actually really isn't! The fry up of egg, bacon, beans, sausage, chips, and beans was great, accompanied with hot buttered toast and a hot strong mug of tea. Really recommend this place wether it's sitting in for a fry up or taking away a hot bacon bap. Staff are really friendly!

As Apprentice fans, we popped in on the way to a football match. It was really good, we all had toasted sandwiches and tea and a good chat with the owner. He had lots of stories and was happy to chat.Outside I was faffing around trying to take a photo and the police stopped and offered to take it for me! How nice was that!

Went to the Bridge Cafe this morning with a couple of friends for a full English breakfast. The food was delicious and Frank, the owner, and his daughter, were so lovely and accommodating. I went there as I was a curious Apprentice fan, but I'd definitely go back for the food and atmosphere alone. Thank you very much, Frank.
