Bridge Bar and Eating House in Hillingdon

Went in for early pre-flight breakfast. Service was quite poor and slow. The full English was pretty bland and low quality for the price. My son was the only one to opt for scrambled eggs with his, which looked fairly unappetising to me. A couple of hours later, just after take off, my son felt unwell. He spent the 8+ hour flight on/off vomiting and spent the first couple of days of our holiday recovering. Up until that breakfast we had all eaten the same things and no one else was unwell or had a random stomach bug, so it doesn't take much to work out the source of his sickness. Thanks a lot Bridge, I won't be darkening your doors again and will certainly advise anyone I know using Heathrow to give you a miss.

£62 for 2 pints, a chicken burger and an English breakfast. All the food was stone cold, the breakfast was small and tasteless. Service was extremely slow.

Awful, just awful. Massively overpriced, poor quality and tiny portion sizes to go along with it. Service non existent because of how busy it is. You're paying for the ability to eat pub food in an airport, but it's not worth it, just get something from Costa etc.

Wow what a mess of a place. Food was a joke service was poor. One meal didn't get touched and the waiter didn't even ask how the food was. If you want a fu English for £15 don't bother it's a child's meal. I think I might have had 15 baked beans lol.

I ordered the “veggie brunch” food is “disgusting” literally! Silverwares are smelly! I ordered another piece of silverware, but it still had the same smell. Everything was terrible and I left my food. It was the worst experience ever!

Great bar but they are so so slow at serving Normally only 1 person serving and it's a free for all. It seems some of the head bar men will jump in and help out but others turn a blind eye to staff under pressure.

Stopped here for breakfast whilst waiting for our flight at terminal 3. The staff were all busy and attentive and friendly. Tables were all being kept clean. The food was hot and fresh. Really can’t fault this. Given the high turnover and probably zero return customer given the nature of an airport restaurant, this was excellent and I would highly recommend.

Dined at this bar on our way to NY, and have to say we had excellent food and excellent service. Would highly recommend.

One of the best restaurant experiences in the airports for me. Fast, kind service and very good food.

Avoid this place, dodgy pub, they charged me for good a day after I was there, I asked for refund to my bank and they blocked my card, now I'm on holidays without acces to my account. Don't risk your trip! I travelled on the 9th and they charged me for an extra drink on the 10th!

Good beer but a bit expensive. The food on the other hand was very nice and more reasonably priced considering its location. We had the fish and chips which was a good, hot plate of food. Set us up well for the flight to Sydney. 👍👍👍

Great value for money and the server tried really hard to get our food quickly since we were very tight on time. I had the porridge with bananas and berries and it was well cooked. My travelling companion had the full English breakfast with no complaint. Sorry I didn't catch the name of our server but she was so nice and friendly. Highly recommended for breakfast.

What a ghastly place T3 is after security , the food is ultra pretentious , What they need is some basic restaurants that serve food that I've heard of before

Decent enough pub-like airport food place. Nice Yorkshire tea and a pleasant veggie curry👌 Pleasingly they were willing to serve sprite zero by the pint too.

Food was better than expected, considering this is inside an airport. Had to queue outside, but it moved very quickly. Fast service.

Food was good but service and the atmosphere was not good for the price of the food. Seated like sardines in a can. No personal space or able to move around. I understand its a airport but the seating is everywhere to maximise the number of customers.

Enjoyed the Breakfast, good quality bacon and sausage. Not particularly cheap but you don't expect it to be. Camden pale was nice too. Quick service.

Food was a disappointment. I had to wait 15 minutes to get a table as it was very busy. It was not worth the wait. Slow service and below average food. Wonder why Heathrow does not have better restaurants. I suggest eating outside before check-in.

7 GBP for a 330ml beer and they wouldn’t allow me to sit down in the restaurant area despite seating in the bar full. Barman was short with me when I accidentally added a 10 GBP tip instead of 1 GBP. Wish I hadn’t tipped him at all now. Nothing like spending 8 GBP few sips of beer while standing in a busy airport bar.

Average food, airport prices, and a little cramped. However the staff were friendly and pleasant, quick and attentive. Good place to grab some food before your flight, but not somewhere to relax and have an evening meal.

The full English, 2 pints is great for the price. The FOH was very polite and kind whilst taking me to my table. The lady who was serving me was extremely polite and had good vibes around her. I asked her name and it Anya? I think. A nice place to dine before boarding your plane.

Eggs Benedict were on point! Really enjoyed the speed as well in which good was served. If back in terminal 3, defiantly will go back

Worst fish and chips the uk has ever seen

Stuck for a place to eat after passport control, we looked at the options available and came here. Wife had the open halloumi sandwich ( best halloumi she ever had) and I had the steak sandwich, both came with perfectly cooked fries. The meal size was perfect, quality outstanding and service exceptional. As my eyes wondered around the place, everyone had cleared there plates. You can't go wrong with this crew.

The food was good, the service was a little on the slow side, but I wasn't in a hurry so it didn't worry me. They were very busy and there weren't many tables available unless you were eating.

Meh Small burger but good service

We had 1 1/2 hr for our transfer and this place looks quite nice. we've ordered veggie burger(9£) and fish&chips (14£). Stella was great but house garden ale was too flat, so they exchanged it to stella as well. In total ~36£.

Popular spot. They rushed my order for me to make my flight. And the food was great. If you're passing through and hungry...and have time...just do it.

Had the vegetarian breakfast. The avocado tasted strange and vinegary, definitely not fresh, and the egg was sloppy and watery. Not worth the price, but the seating is cozy and the staff are friendly, so it's fine for an airport.

Pretty busy but what would you expect in an airport. Good selection of drink. Prices are what you would expect to pay in central London so no surprises there either. Service was very good.

OK place to eat. A little pricey but what do you expect from an airport eatery. Food is edible off somewhat small in portions. Service is fast. Tables are close to each other so you do get to hear the odd snippet from other people about their journeys or budgets or if they took enough underwear.

Pretty good place to wait for a flight, comfortable with good beers. Food a bit small and a bit simplistic. I don't mind small portions of good food, but this was just ok food.

Burgers left soaking in water way to long. Very tough and flavorless. Heatlamp is over utilized. Otherwise, it's typical airport pricey and service is nice and polite however very slow.

The food was cold, inconsistent and very very late. Our server left us a quarter of the way through and left us totally helpless. If there are any other places to go, go there because here, it is a total disaster. If I could give it a "no star," I would.

Mayfair’s price, (maybe worse than) Tesco’s quality. Ordered a medium-rare cooked sirloin which comes out an “Gandy’s flip flops” (Ramsay, 16Feb2017, Twitter).

Waited for 30 minutes to order a unit of vodka, and when I asked for it again, attitude was served. Poor service.

The beef and ale pie was still cold, the burger slightly burnt and the omelette very runny.

Was here today 11 for lunch for the beer batter fish and chips. Food and beer were great. However, the server with black hair (you know who you are and the host know) walking around with bag of bad attituded and unfriendly face, even before me walking in, apprears to agrued with host and did not want to serve me. She ignored and won't come to say hi or take order for me. Don't know her problem is. (For your information, I asked the host to sit at that table, in your section, not to sit myself). Anyway, the restaurant definately need to improve in customer services and for sure NOT need that server's bad attitute. There are so many restaurants to choose from terminal 3, so don't act like Bridge Bar is the only one!

The prices are good for an airport restaurant, as is the food. But during our visit not only were they out of some menu items, but they were also out of Guinness. How is it possible for any bar in London to be out of Guinness. But my complaint primarily comes because our drinks were served 5 minutes after our food arrived, and as we finished both food and drinks, we sat for 20 minutes before our waitress came by the table again- even after multiple eye contact and hand waves. Luckily we were not in a rush, but 20 minutes is unacceptable in any setting.

Terrible place. Would suggest to avoid at all costs. The waiters had no sense of urgency that a customer doesn't have unlimited time and has to catch a flight. After 20 mins of waiting to take an order, another 40 mins to get my food. Barely managed to get to my morning flight though I was very early to airport. Food was bad and bland, could tell that it was prepared in a hurry. Asked for a a glass of tap water twice which was conveniently left unheard. I left after paying the bill and without leaving a tip due to this and you could tell the grin on the waiter. He does deserve it !!

Very busy place although the waiting time is reasonable. I tried a crispy smoked salmon and fennel fishcake; it combines well with the tartar sauce. You can also combine a different flavor if you eat it with French fries and ketchup. Bring your earplugs if you don't like loud music. Most places offer a container/can lemonade but this time I could order the Bridge homemade lemonade advertised as sweet, sour and naturally flat. Good.

Seats are at a premium between flights. If you sit in the bar area, squeeze in where you can.

Reasonably prompt food but mainly cold. Cold baked beans, tomato, mushroom and bacon. Fried egg was greasy and barely cooked. Sausage was at least like-warm. Coffee didn't arrive until we'd finished eating. Wouldn't recommend it.

This "pub" is the shame of a nation. Always make the mistake of assuming this place has gotten it's act together since the last time I visited, sadly always proved wrong. perpetually dirty tables, mountains of dirty cutlery, plates, glasses, dirty napkins. Long waits at the bar, staff who apparently can't speak English resulting in incorrect orders. If this establishment was situated on a high street itbsimply wouldn't last. I hope visitors to the uk aren't given the impression that English pubs are generally this poor. For such a prominent part of the terminal the management should save the the UK the embarrassment and close, free the space up for someone like KFC.

Similar to what you may find in a diner on the side of a highway. Over cooked meats, sugary sauces. Sprite served as a lemonade. But a nice calm atmosphere.

A nice place to sit down while waiting for your flight. The food is standard for an airport restaurant, as are the prices. The waitstaff was very quick and friendly, and checked up on me several times. I had the halloumi pita pockets, and the slaw they were served with was very fresh tasting.

Awful service waited almost 50 min for my breakfast people around me where getting all there food and they completely missed my order when I was seated waited almost 15 min for a waiter to show up and take my order worst food ever please don't waist your time or money here. They deserve negative stars

I was very badly helped by an English waiter eho decided not only not to answer to a question I had made, but who started to provoque me in a sarcastic and continuous way. Aweful experience. Afterward I felt strong nausea in the flight due to the experience. I don't remember the name of that waiter, but I was there on this Tuesday (Nov 1st, 2016) at around 6:20pm and I was sit on the right side corner of the inner part. Both me and my fiancé will surely never return to that place.

Awful staff, rude and obnoxious. Food was overpriced, small and below par. Menu is unexciting at best. Unfortunately it's one of a bad bunch at Terminal 3.
