Bric Bar + Kitchen in Nottingham

Had dinner here as was staying in the hotel and i must say i was extremely disappointed. I ordered the hot smoke salmon pate and it came looking like cat food and definitely not hot as stone cold. Spoke to waitress eventually and told menu wasnt clear. ummm. I then ordered the hoisin duck salad and my goodness this was tough as old boot's. Had to wait 20 mins to get anyones attention and all they said was do you want the bill? Not happy at all and because i didnt eat it due to the above reasons i had to pop next door and get a mcdonalds.

Lovely breakfast but what else would you expect when it's attached to a Hilton hotel

We come here in the mornings as it’s the restaurant that offers continental breakfast for staying at Hilton Nottingham. There is a lot of choice at the breakfast buffet. Bacon, eggs, sausages, beans, toast… you name it. My 6 year old daughter especially enjoys the hash browns. There are even vegetarian sausages and soy yogurt if that is your diet. Overall, I great place to start your day.

Staff we so nice and went above and beyond offering to help us. We stayed in the Hilton over the weekend and room service was great. Steak was cooked to perfection and a good quality of meat. Also breakfast was usually continental layout but with a few extra options I’ve never seen else where.

20/20 - Brilliant Afternoon Tea Experience for Two 5/5 Decor 5/5 Cleanliness 5/5 Food 5/5 Service Really liked the decor, set a nice scene, wasnt too busy and was very close to the loads of parking lots. The tea itself was nice and traditional, we opted for Ice Lattees as the weather was hot and they were fanstatic. The service was fast, friendly and attentive just as you expect from Hilton. There were also a small selection of board games, which was a really nice touch as we ended up playing snakes and ladders and having a really good time. Would I return - Yes !

BRIC is well located but the food is priced at Hotel prices so many will find it expensive with Sirloin steak at £25.50 and Burgers at £18.50. This might be okay but the service in the bar is slow with many of the staff standing around and not clearing tables.

Good food and the place it is so cozy, they have beautiful designed spaces with comfortable sofas and seats. Located right in the city center, right next to Hilton. They also have a nice therase outside where you can enjoy the city centre, however the view is nothing special. If you stay in Hilton it is very convenient to have a meal here.

We ordered a take away pizza from this restaurant it was very overpriced for a pizza that came out of a box. It was nicely presented when delivered to our room.

Went for a meal at the bric Bar and kitchen Nottingham. Only myself and husband last night to celebrate my birthday. The meal was outrageous. I ordered the chicken tikka masala. Supermarket standard only and my husband had fish which could have come from the freezer. Very poor quality. All I can say is I can see how the hilton have made the millions. One to avoid.

Prompt friendly service. We stayed at the Hilton and had breakfast there. Good quality food, regularly topped up buffet and friendly staff.

I've been to this restaurant a few times, whenever I've been it's always been friendly and a nice relaxed atmosphere. Staff are very welcoming whether you stay at the Hilton attached or walk in off the street. Alot larger than what it looks like from the outside. Mid range prices for food, drinks are quite expensive if you are wanting alcohol. Food is delicious and fresh and great sized portions.

Overpriced and dubious "upselling" practices. When my partner ordered me a large glass of Chenin Blanc before I arrived, the bar staff delivered a NZ Sauvignon instead - at £3+ more per glass! When he queried it, he was merely told it 'tasted similar' - but as he hadn't looked at the price list, he didnt realise he had just been 'done'. I often drink NZ Sauvignon, but had avoided ordering it here, as frankly £12.40 for a glass of this wine is extortionate. They have a Chilean Sauvignon, but you can only buy it by the bottle - so if you want a Sauvignon you are forced to pay for the overpriced NZ one. We have experienced bad service and wrong drinks served here about 3 times before. Is this bad service, training or dubious practice? We wont be visiting again.

Chic ambience, great service, and an amazing bottomless brunch deal. For £25 you get unlimited bubbles for 90 minutes, and two courses from their delicious brunch menu. Highly recommend!

I would definetely recommend high tea and dinner here. The set-menu was good value, the only issue was the noise for me, since some people were watching football at the bar. Food was delicious.

This is a bar and restaurant inside the Hilton hotel. The restaurant is not too big so it does feel cosy with some tables offering a view outside to watch the world go by. The menu is not too big either but offers good choice. Staff are all friendly and helpful and our orders were taken and arrived promptly. Food was tasty wine was tasty. The bar is also well stocked and they do have a cocktail menu. Prices are perhaps a little higher due to this being inside a hotel but we enjoyed the visit and would return.

food is very good for the price, but it is more a bar than food as you get the smell of smoke as people smoke outside the door.

We dined here before heading to the Motorpoint Arena for a concert. The restaurant is part of the Hilton Hotel building and is conveniently located. The service was a bit slow but this was made up by the friendliness of the staff. My partner and I both had steak which was nice (a little overcooked, though sadly most places do overcook steak). The wedges were lovely, crispy and piping hot. The only downside is that we both had an upset stomach afterwards. We emailed the management to let them know but received no acknowledgement. It's unlikely we'll be returning here in the future as I'm sure there's plenty of better steak restaurants in Nottingham and preferably one where we won't have an upset stomach.

The starter is really small and it takes an hour for the main to come out

We nipped into this place after a nice dinner in town as we'd heard the cocktails were good - they weren't. They're priced at £6 which is cheap compared with other bars like Saltwater or Revolution, but I'd much rather go there. The mojitos were made with about 5 mint leaves, no limes (they used cordial) and no sugar (they used syrup) which made it taste artificial and cheap. We had one more in there which wasn't as good, either. The interior is nice and the staff friendly but it didn't live up to expectations.
