We only had the carvery as that was only available on a Sunday afternoon, the food was OK a basic carvery. I will say that for the price, the amount of meat you get is very poor. The staff all seemed very lovely but were all really busy to engage with anyone, but overall, it was not an experience, just good 👍

Attended here last night as a last minute decision and did not disappoint mark the manager seated us near the play area as requested, we had a few drinks and then ordered 2 mix grills and 2 children meals, honestly the best children meals we have ever had. The added bonus is the kids don’t nag they are bored because they have soft play area we regularly come here for that added bonus. We will return! Cheers guys

The deserts were terrible, the cheese cake was still frozen, the Knickerbocker Glory had frozen fruit and tastes horrible. The ice-cream, well, I didn't think Ice cream could ever taste so bad, even my child who eats anything wouldn't touch it. Never have a pudding there again.

We have been to Home Farm with our granddaughter a few times and the child’s play area is either not open or not serving food in a that area. We go so my granddaughter can play and have food near us. It is half term this week and what is the difference from serving food upstairs or near the play area? We have been before and eaten downstairs with no staff about. With it being half term you would think it would be open.

I know what you're going to say. "It's a brewers fayre what did I expect" In short I shall explain my ratings Food not particularly cooked well and the portions are tiny. We were in a rush so I said nothing at the time but I had mixed grill, everything was overcooked (not burnt though) the meat was dry the onion rings looked like they had been cut from pickled onions Service, loads of staff hanging around the customer side of the restaurant doing nothing then two blokes in shirts come out walk past them and give us our food. 1 had my mixed grill and my 9 year olds kids menu burger in his hands and had to ask who's was which. Atmosphere, lots of shouty arguing rowdy customers, though thankfully we only had to go near them to get to the toilets.

A nice outdoor play area for the kid's, although looking a little tired. The decor inside is quite tatty, stained seat's and again very tired looking. We ordered a mixed grill, which was very nice, but ended up waiting 35 minutes after for a child's dessert. This eventually came and was overcooked, the doughnuts hard and chocolate sauce splashed and burnt over the bowl. Maybe a little long in the microwave? A disappointing end to a relatively decent meal. Decided to re visit this restaurant after a year and a new manager had been appointed, in the hope that it may be better. Myself and my husband ordered ultimate burgers. They arrived looking presentable, but on further inspection the burgers had been microwaved, and were dry and inedible. The saving grace was the sweet potato fries which I enjoyed. This dish cost just over £11 each , which is a lot to pay for a microwaved burger. This restaurant could be great, but the food quality totally let's it down.

Arrived at 2.30pm to be told it was carvery or nothing as they where short staffed, one person to take orders for food and drinks at the bar, and a very long queue waiting to be seated, as we ordered at the bar the people behind us where told they had stopped serving food, this was extremely poor considering it was only 2.45pm on a Sunday, also the brewery have an offer on for food orders. Other than the Yorkshire pudding which was lovely the food was tasteless and luke warm. There was nobody taking our plates away between mains and dessert and considering there was 9 of us the table was fairly full.

Decided to try the breakfast buffet here. Basically, it's the same breakfast offered to the residents of the next door, Premier Inn. The quality of the food is reasonable better than the supermarket offerings but not quite up there with the best local cafes. Initially looked a touch expensive, but it is all you can eat. We enjoyed it and will likely use again the big positive is that it's available from 6:30 am.

We turned up this afternoon to order some food firstly the starters was wrong so I went to the bar and asked the gentleman about the starters and then he lied and told me that we ordered one of each but we didn’t. Then after starters, we waited about 40 minutes before the lady come to the table to take our starter plates away and started taking our knife and forks and napkins away when I told her we are waiting for our mains and reply was you’re waiting for Man? I said yes leave them alone as she carried on trying to take them away. Our man’s came wasn’t too bad but a long way we finished our mains waiting for our desert one hour went by no one came to the table and and it was pretty quiet at the time. So I went to the bar and I don’t know what the gentleman was. I think he was a manager. I told him that the service was absolutely diabolical. He didn’t even answer and say sorry or nothing. I asked him for a refund for the desserts that he did, but even with the receipt of the refund he couldn’t even say sorry still be aware of their service it’s absolutely diabolical.

They check on you and unlimited hot drink was a bonus. The chair could be more comfy but a quick mention and change of chair was done. Place was clean and no stickiness when touching the tablets and chair. It was a comfortable atmosphere and I could take my coat off as it was warm enough even sitting close to doors.

The 50% off mains is a complete con!! My wife and I have come to the Home Farm Restaurant in Hessle to use the offer which clearly states there is 50% off mains if the total food bill from the main food menu exceeds £25. As almost all dishes are less than £12 we ordered starters to take the price over £25. I was shocked and annoyed when the server told me that the £25 had to include only mains- starters are excluded even though they are on the main food menu BREWER'S FAYRE, THIS IS A COMPLETE CON AND YOU NEED TO CHANGE THE TERMS OF YOUR OFFER!!! Much as we have eaten here for years(since our children were little, I feel that you have let us down to the point where I will seriously consider going to Wingfield Farm which is nearby , in future

This was a cute little gem just near the Humber bridge. Friendly staff, name badges aren't so clear like NHS name badges. The gluten free options were very limited which was disappointing since it is easier to have these options available at all times. There was a flimsy folder, a nice menu would be amazing with 20 options. No jacket potatoes available which added to further disappointment. The drinks were refillable which is good, minus that I have a sugar low and no sugary drinks so not great for myself. The pizza was great, fresh tasting, with options to bolster that soft yet crispy crust. The chips were lush! With nice seasoning with the staff offering a range of sauces Price was suitable for the working class of 2024, the parking was good minus one area where the tree had overgrown. Toilets were clean and tidy, with plenty of rolls and hand-wash. A little cold but never mind.

Staying at the premier inn next door, whent to the Brewers for my evening meal, it was pretty quiet inside, I ordered my food and sat at my chosen table My starter came, witch was chicken wings smothered in BBQ sauce, wings in a bowel with a very small pot of BBQ sauce. The place started too fill quickly with bookings, premier inn bookins and walk ins!!! Finshed the basic wings and 38 minutes later my main arrived, pie mash potato and peas ...... the pie was cold in the middle and the mashed potato were half cold ...... this took 38 minutes for this low quality poor prepare 3 blobs on a plate I complained at the bar, left the food on the bar for the staff to sort out Some time later a lady apportched me (don't now her name or position as she didn't introduce her self) she asked what's wrong, I told her then she replied they are very short staffed only one cook, I asked why didn't the staff tell me that in the beginning. She siad that she had turned away walk ins witch was untrue! Sometimes when it is busy they can get very regimented holding people up just inside and directing them like cattle, but today no problem. The barman was polite and reserved and the barmaids where very charming they saved the place really. Car parks rather cramped and it lead on to very dangerous roads. Pity there was only Doom Bar regarding real ales, it is a bit rubbish. However the chips I got were very good. Great beer garden for outdoor drinking and a variety of different areas to go, including an adventure play ground. For myself to get more stars they need to get a decent real ale selection, sort out the ash trays outside and being being so corporate. A number of months ago I dropped in early for a breakfast and it was self serviced, a real disappointment.

Well what can I say we dined hear today for a child's party hardly any staff on witch is fine but to be spoke to like rubbish is one thing telling us they was super busy when they was not table after table been reserved with no one sat at them we was in there over 3hours for these tables to be still reserved what a joke! Don't get me started on the food came out quickly no problem but the burgers OMG they was stone cold and raw in the middle I wished I took a picture off them they was not edible I have worked in these places before and you cannot have a raw pink burger as they are frozen packed and have to be cooked all the way through I no this as i have chefed in these places befor this is not good anyways we didn't eat them and they was no one downstairs to even tell so we left it overall kids love the run around but its lacking in management cleanliness and hygiene them TOILETS are rank Could be a lovely place it just needs some kick up the butt 😉

Been to so many chains and love all of them as we always do tend to dine out when staying at the hotel. What can I say, the service well there was none! Waited 15 minutes before we had to find someone to be seated this was with a lot of the team walking past us and saying nothing and we were evidently waiting. The food for the price was kid portions and just not hot. Atmosphere was awful also. We just wanted to get out so finished our meal and left usually we would dine for a three course. I will say one waitress and I did not get her name saved the experience a lot by being so friendly and good with my 2 year old boy. I really hope it was just a bad night for them and not always like that.

Forced to choose from a 2 or 3 course meal, no other option. Chose the 2 course - carvery and sundae, which doesn't normally cost as much separately as the 2 course option. Peas hard, gravy watery and beef fatty. Had to chase a staff member for the desserts and they were wrong!

Very friendly staff, food is delicious and the coffee/cake is outstanding. Ben was also charming and welcoming. Lynn was also very lovely, certainly worth a visit if you are popping through Market Weighton.

App telling me to enjoy my food 30 mins before I actually received my order. Rang the restaurant to enquire and was asked to hold 4 times whilst other orders was taken.

Ordered two items for takeaway via in store ordering touch screen, with pickles and lettuce marked not to be included. Expected food to be hot and right. Food was tepid at best, and was wrong, despite stickers and labels being put on the bag and wrapping. The burgers weren't even wrapped properly and looked as though they'd just been thrown in. No wonder they were empty!!!

Breakfast tasted tough and dry like it was re heated , a little bit on the pricey side, and a clean is much needed as both tables and chairs are dirty. Looked and felt more like a half done reception area than a cafe.
