Brewers Fayre in Stoke-on-Trent

I went here for the first time today and I'm glad I did. The staff were friendly, the service was quick and the food (I had the mixed grill) was fabulous.

Breakfast and service were of a great quality!

Amazing value and suprisingly good quality food. Could not fault this 10/10.

Went here for lunch & dessert. Food was really good & service was amazing. Definitely worth going again & hopefully soon lol

Visited on a Sunday evening for a birthday meal. Group of 15 of us with three little ones causing havoc. The staff were fantastic, polite and couldn't do enough for us. Food was excellent and there are plenty of discount vouchers available to make it really good value for money.

Breakfast wasn't the best bacon was cold mushrooms were cold. Hash browns weren't very nice. All the juice was taken away because it was after 11am. Had to ask the lady cleaning up she poured me from behind the bar.

The server Charlotte was really kind and welcoming :)

Clean, tidy place, great staff, fast service and very tasty dishes. The restaurant left only pleasant impressions!

Disappointed this visit. Had fish and chips for the special price of £5 the other day. I know it's cheap but the fish was not fried properly and some of the batter was soggy. Also the fish portion was small. The chips were rather tasteless Not Good this time

We went for Christmas lunch and I was pleasantly surprised by how good it was. The staff were very friendly and welcoming except for one woman who was putting the veg on the hot plate. She was rude and miserable, even moaning to the chef about how the veg was cooked. The other staff were brilliant and worked really hard to make sure we all had a good time. Thank you 😊

Well we went there for our Xmas meal well what can i say it was absolutely amazing and Leory is just amazing too he cooks his meat too a tee my favourite place.Keep up the good work 10 out of 10 for me.✅️🎄🎅

My family of 6 Went for xmas dinner and it was a real let down it was a waste of 300 pounds the plates were childrens sizes the veg was rock hard the sprouts were almost raw..my meat was thick chunks and my gammon was the hard end piece we were allowed 1 pig in blanket each there was no bread roll with the soup only 5 tiny croutons in the bowl. The xmas puddings were the size of a jam tart and warm in the microwave, there was no atmosphere it was just a normal sunday carvery, we have been going here for breakfasts for ages and thought it would be a good xmas day treat. I wont be going again we were all discusted and dissapointed we were all deflated and just wanted hurry up and leave

Group of 16 visited for Christmas lunch. All enjoyed their meals , the servers were happy and helpful and all agreed they had a great time.

Haven’t been in here for awhile but so glad we did! The food was absolutely incredible and very decently priced! The atmosphere was delightful. Was lovely and warm inside and the staff were incredible, so helpful and friendly. Charlotte was our server and she was the loveliest server we have had in a long time. Everything she did was 10/10 and always had a smile on her face. So thank you for a pleasant night!

We went for breakfast on Sunday, it was very busy but we had booked a table, the food was great loads of choice of hot & cold food and drinks. Definately recommend it cost £21 for 2 adults and two kids 😊

We came on a Saturday evening for a family meal having booked online. The booking system is easy to navigate and we were welcomed as soon as we came through the door. Drinks order was taken swiftly with an explanation of the different pricing structure for the varieties of white wine available. Food was hot, arrived promptly and we all enjoyed our meals. We were served by Emily, who was absolutely brilliant - friendly, attentive but not overbearing. We'll definitely be back.

Been a few times now for breakfast and I can't fault them one bit. Everything is hot and ready. If something is short and you ask for it they will get it. Also they are absolutely brilliant with our friends little boy who has got food intolerances. He loves the fact he's eating all most the same as us. X

Always wonderful service and food here! It’s fairly cheap but good quality and the team members are always so positive and friendly! Very accommodating if you ask to sit somewhere quiet or easily accessible! Only issue is parking at times. If the car park is full due to the hotel too there can be cars just parked up anywhere or cars without disability badges in disabled spots. Last time we visited we couldn’t use the disabled bays because half of them had cars in without badges when we have a badge so we had to park further back and it meant more walking for me and my mum. But I’ll always return here whenever I can for a cheap and cheerful dinner!

Called for lunch before mini golf. It was early lunchtime and quite busy, but the wait for food was fine. We had a 40% off main courses so the price was great.

Waited for 15 minutes to be seated when there weren't many other guests, and we had booked a table. Food was mediocre, had to send back food as it was overcooked, and we didn't even finish the starters before the mains were shoved on the table. It was not a great experience overall, I am not surprised there weren't many guests based on what my family experienced Must do better!

This is the first Brewers Fayre I have been to, which had waiter / waitress service others have been order at the bar. The staff I encountered were very good and helpful. The pub is adjacent to a Premier Inn so I would suggest book a table

The food is really nice, but the service was terrible tonight, had a very stressful day at work and waited 25 minutes for a drink! There is loads of staff! Then after our meal we always look forward to having a short, that never arrived! So we just went home, very disappointed! Gutted as the pub was empty when we never got our short! 😭

Today was the first time in over 12 month's that we have had a meal inside in a restaurant food was excellent and and the service was exemplary staff were very attentive a helpful

Hit and miss ..sometimes good some times not good .

My go to for buffet breakfast. My children love it. The children eat for free option is brill. Tasty food. Slightly more expensive than I'd normally pay for breakfast but considering you can eat as much as you like, I don't mind. The only issue I have is that some staff look absolutely miserable.

I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. If you are in the area, even if you're not staying at the hotel, pop in. The staff are out of this world friendly, helpful and welcoming. They cannot do enough and they are genuinely happy to see you. The manageress took time to say hello to us, we have stayed there before. Tom took my booking for breakfast and dinner and we were accommodated and didn't have to wait. We were a table of 12. The food was hot, tasty and plentiful and the prices would suit every budget. Huge choice for breakfast too. Fantastic team and huge smiles.

Tonight we came to celebrate my son's 16th birthday for a lovely meal with family and Nathan was a fab host! Very attentive and food came out super quick considering there was 10 of us, cannot fault this place honestly, lovely staff and highly recommend 👌 xx

Table booked for 5pm on a Sunday evening for a party of 13. Disappointed on the fact that they were no longer serving carvery at this time, however we picked another option on the menu. We were waited on by a young lady called Emily, which I must express at how well she does her job! Very polite and attentive - an absolute credit to the team! Waiting time for the food was nearly an hour however they didn’t disappoint and was worth the wait and all of us were happy with our food. Priced accordingly and overall 5* experience and we can say that we will be visiting here again. 👍

Brilliant meal at brewers today. All food was tasty. A special thankyou to Emily our server. She was absolutely fantastic. Customer service the best. Very welcoming and polite. Service with a smile.. Nothing was too much trouble for her. Real asset to brewers. Thankyou for an enjoyable experience and great meal

There were 16 of us and we had a great meal there. Emily was our waitress and she was superb. We did not all arrive together and as soon as someone new arrived Emily was there to take the drinks orders. She ensured that all of the meals arrived at the same time and they were piping hot. One of our party required dairy free hot drinks and she ensured that she prepared them herself so no mistakes were made. She was very patient when taking our orders as quite a few of us wanted, for example, no red onion. When the food was delivered by other staff Emily ensured she was there to make sure that our requirements had been actioned by the kitchen. She could see straight away one hadn't so took the meal away and ensured it came back as ordered. We were in the restaurant to celebrate a retirement and the evening was a great success due to the fantastic service and good food.

Decided to have Sunday lunch here, huge mistake !! . Parking good, escorted to my table, very good , after that I'm afraid it was all negative.... waitress totally disinterested and unhelpful, no one at the carvery to actually carve the meat , i waited about 10 minutes and had to ask a passing member of staff if there was anyone serving , she summoned someone to come to serve . The food would have been quite tasty had it not been for the fact that it was barely warm . I then asked the waitress if she would bring me a cup of coffee to which I was informed that she would bring an empty cup and to go to the machine to serve myself ( whatever happened to courteous waitress service) . To make the experience a little more unpleasant the chairs at my table were filthy and looked as though they should have been recovered or replaced a few years ago.

Food is very sub par, can get alot better for your money elsewhere.

Nice food and the lady who served us was super her name is teagan she went above and beyond to make sure everything was right she was polite and very friendly her manager needs to acknowledge her enthusiasm thank you teagan.

Excellent service and food . The food was freshly cooked to our liking and arrived in good time. The staff are very professional and very helpful. Faith our server was very prompt and attentive. We were Never left waiting for condiments or drinks and we are very pleased. We would definitely recommend and will be returning ourselves in the future .

Got there at 7:30 ordered by 7:40 Food came out at 8:35 After witnessing the sizeable table of around 20 to the right and behind us, eating there started I was most perplexed by the fact that there starters were cleared and mains bought out, and extras added to complete their order prior to our food (table of 4) being bought out. I decided this was the right time to query where the food was to be told that they’re busy, and that the table had ordered prior to us to our food would be served after. When discussing timings in a restaurant with the “manager” it became clear he was unable to organise a pi55 up in a brewery let alone organise a restaurant. After this debacle we were left still hungry being told he would go and check, to what this achieved is still beyond me as he came back with the same answer of “it’s being cooked”. Upon receipt of our food I was presented with what can only be described as a piece of soggy carpet. (Meant to be beer battered fish) my partner with a charcoal burger instead of char grilled and a mixed grill missing items. We were less than satisfied, when complaining for the second time I was yet again face to face with the “manager” who was unable to explain why it had taken an hour to order food, and when the food came out it was burnt, or missing parts and lets to be soggy. Soon after the missing items came on a plate, with apologies, 3 out of the 4 of us neglected to finish the dinner due to being served food Oliver Twist would have been proud to conger up. When returning from the toilet is had turned out that the “manager” had returned to the table to offer some compensation and reduction of the bill. Over all not the best experience. Probably would avoid.

Just returned home tonight after our meal.four of us.went outside for a cigarette.left our jackets on the chairs so they new we would be returning for dessert.they had cleared the table of all our drinks.when we spoke to the lady the so called sitter she said we should of informed them that we were outside having a cigarette.obvously we hadn't left our jackets were still on our chairs.avoid this place at all costs.if I could give it 0 stars i would.

A lovely place to have breakfast. Staff are always available to help. There is no problem ordering vegetarian options. Maddie one of the workers there is wonderful. Grandchildren think she is great. 🙂

Absolutely dreadful food and poor service. One of our party actually refused to eat the pizza despite it being returned to be warmed up it was still cold. We won't be going back.

Excellent breakfast, well worth the money

The restaurant is roomy and pleasant, our seats were comfortable and accessible. The service was good, though there only seemed to be a couple of servers working. There was a good choice of food and drinks, including refillable soft drinks and coffee. The food was very good, and very reasonably priced. The standard toilets seem to be up a flight of steps but there is a ground floor disabled one; that was clean and well laid out. There is a roomy car park and diners get three hours free parking.

Well, I've ordered medium cooked sirloin and received a well done thin cut steak ... I mean, I know that's not the steakhouse, but steak should be thick and correctly done- if the chef can't do it, maybe U should get Tefal Opti-grill?

Stopped by for food which was nice, usual Brewers fayre (no pun intended), the highlight was the service, was above and beyond!!!

While traveling for work, I regret that they refuse customers from 9:30 p.m.....

I had a Sunday roast, and it was spot on. The meat was cooked perfectly, melt in the mouth good. The staff got me seated straight away, and the chef that carved the slices gave me more than enough. Can not fault the whole experience. Will be going again.

Pub grub was nice, good value for money. Staff were all lovely which creates a nice atmosphere. Served by Izzy, a polite and helpful lady 💐 - we set up the rewards card which will come in for a treat with the kids 😎

Called in for lunch ,the food was very nice and of good quality,we were well catered for and looked after ,I would recommend it with a four and half star as I did think the price was a tad high but certainly a up 👍

Went here on the 27th may I ordered a mixed grill supposed to have a 4oz steak on I bet it was 2oz at best glad I didn’t upgrade for an extra £3 but I ordered it medium for it come out beyond well done so waited for the waitress to come ask how the meal was never turned up so I carried on eating until I saw one so I asked a different one who then went to the chef who just said ‘sorry’ so I asked for a manager who was about as much use as a chocolate Fireguard who was just walking away as we was speaking absolute joke of a place save your money and go McDonald’s at least when they get it wrong they do something about it!

Went in today woman asked asked if I had booked a table as she said restaurant was fully booked? I said I hadn't booked restaurant was nearly empty. five staff chatting to one another at the bar won't be back. very poor service made to feel like customers were to much trouble 😡

Shocking! Says on the website open at 07.30 but you can't actually buy anything until 11.00 if you are not staying at the hotel. I couldn't even go in for my breakfast. They should make this clear on the site. Staff were extremely rude aswell

Food was terrible. We ordered steak (medium) I got it well done . The starter was ok but It took them so much time onto bring the food that at some point we thought maybe to leave and go eat somewhere else.

Fantastic welcome and service from Tom one of the managers, lovely food too. Drinks and food very reasonably priced. All staff were very friendly and welcoming.

Went for Sunday lunch. Different server today on Sunday 21st April at 1.15 pm. He was cutting the meat as thinly as possible so the portions were stingy - not impressed! Roast potatoes looked good but did not taste good and were well below par. All the other veg looked tired and had sat on the counter for ages. Peas were the only thing okay together with the Yorkie. Gravy not quite good enough either. Upshot - I won't be having Sunday lunch here for a fair old while now, Haha
