We were staying next door at premier inn we popped in for a drinks on a night time and had breakfast on a morning. Simon is an absloutle gem of a man couldn’t do enough for us and other customers whilst we were in such an upbeat happy person Alvin the chef came out to say hello and to see if there was anything else we needed he was also a lovely man made us feel very welcome, we would defnitley return.

Lovely meal made better by your wonderful employee Simon. He’s an absolute diamond and made our stay a little easier with his kindness and lovely nature. Thank you! x

Went for dinner with my grandaughter who had traveled from Liverpool. We asjed barperson (Male) is it ok to choose a tabke he replied yes go ahead. We decided on what food we wanted to order and drinks. The waitress cam over to take our order only to asked if we were in the hotel we replird no. Then we were dully told we can not eat here as it was for hotel residents only !! First we knew about it we hsve eaten there since my grandaughter was younger. We were quite upset to find out we hsd wasted bus fares and could not eat at our favourite place anymore. It was getting late to eat by the time we had walked to another bus stop in the rain to go to sale Town centre to find an alternitive place for dinner. We are and were on the evening very upset that our evening was spoilt by not finding this out earlier when we first asked and not found out by any other means ! My grandaughter was upset as she came to visit me for one day and one evening from Liverpool to get away ftom the dreadful riots that are going on around the uk at the minuite ! The place was half empty. One woman running the bar who wanted to spend time talking with a bunch of customers rather than serving waiting customers. Kids running wild. Customers around the bar shouting and swearing. Order taken, no mention of any parts of the menu not in stock. Food arrived after 40 mins. Chips cold, half of the items missing. When we asked staff, they said they were out of stock! Poor! Kids continued to run wild, staff were telling them off. The staff appeared to know the kids well so not sure if they were their kids. They were rolling around the floor and taking ice from the ice machine and throwing it all over, narrowly missing my child. Then they started to roll around the chairs and tables. Sat eating what we could of the meal and another customer started kicking the doors to go outside as they had drinks in their hands. Wow! Grown men having conversations on loud speaker on their phones which was full of swearing. Really what I wanted my kids to hear! Toilets were filthy. No soap or hand sanitiser. Lots of wet toilet tissue all over the sinks and floor. Towards the end of the meals, the kids began throwing ice again. Putting their dirty hands all over the ice and drinks machine where they are dispensed. Put us off getting another drink. Actually can’t believe what I’ve paid for! I walked out flabbergasted. The only reason I didn’t kick up a fuss was due to my child having additional needs and the noise upsetting them! Brewers Fayre, you need to book up your ideas!

Food was very poor and portions inadequate. Initially, No Gammon available, after 1 hour and 20 min wait, there was a list of items unavailable, even the simplest item as coleslaw. A list was posted on the Bar and the Front door, very unprofessional. People were complaining left, right and centre about the coldness of Food and the WAIT for it. Portions were childrens size, rather than adult. Left feeling hungry and totally dissatisfied.

Great service from Selena brought us cappuccinos without evening having to ask for them lovely fresh food, very good atmosphere

Women started shouting at me and then hit my friend and the manager came and didn’t even ask for a story just kicked us out so this place is bad and the workers are not professional so do not go here if you want to be abused

Booked a table for Saturday evening as we were staying next door at the Premier Inn. Ordered food and the wrong starter was brought to the table, we then had to wait for my starter to be redone. Mains arrived, warm but certainly not piping hot as if freshly prepared, no side order arrived. No visit to check if everything was okay with the meal. Had to ask for this to be removed from the bill at the end. It was suggested that had I said something they could have brought it, I suggested that had someone bothered checking on us I would have said something, don't expect me to chase you around the restaurant. Booked a breakfast for Sunday morning, oh dear. Ordered a breakfast but they do not keep an eye on what you are eating before serving, so halfway through cereal breakfast arrived, wasn't very warm when we got around to eating it. Chef cannot cook a fried egg - solid lump. Toast has to be put through the machine at least twice to get any colour on it. Juice is quite frankly shameful, not much more than water and no fresh tea or coffee, just flasks of hot water for the tea and an urn of coffee. Has a monopoly on guests from the Premier Inn next door which is fortunate because this must be how it keeps going and gets away with this rubbish.

Quite a depressing restaurant which is in need of refurbishment. Ordered two double stack burgers which bore little resemblance to the description on the menu. No gherkins or tomato or burger sauce. Together with a mean portion of chips just left a feeling of 'what a rip off'. Staff never asked how the meal was. No hand pulled beer either and the rose wine out of stock. In all honesty a pretty poor effort from Whitbread who clearly rely on the trade from the Premier Inn alongside, where we were staying. Will probably vote with my wallet next time!

i went for breakfast with my friends and we were amazed how many choices you have for breakfast buffet, i personally want to thank the lady with curly hair for being so kind sorry i did forget the name she’s always kind and friendly🙂

Selena is a beautiful person shes so attentive. Food was lovely as was the atmosphere. Good selection of continental foods and great drinks.

My wife and I chose Roast Beef for our Sunday lunch today. The peas were like bullets and the sprouts were mushy and waterlogged. The carrot and swede mix was bland. The roast potatoes were soggy as were the parsnips and Yorkshire pudding. The beef was tough and the gravy was watery thin and overall the meal was cold. All at the cost of £29.75 including 2 glasses of coke. Needless to say my wife and I were extremely disappointed..I am a former tutor for the Savoy Hotel Group in London and can only say that the roast dinner served today is quite possibly the worst roast dinner I have had in my life!

As always we have had the best service from Selena, she is second to none and nothing is ever too much trouble. This place just wouldn’t be the same without her.

We've been here on multiple occasions for celebrations so always large numbers of us. The food is consistantly great arriving at the same time and the staff, in particularly Archer, are always super keen to make sure everything is ok and are very friendly. I love that we can eat whilst the kids play in the soft play area. It's a win win all round. Highly recommended!

Not a great experience, table booked for 10am for breakfast, order taken at 10.15am didn't come out till 10.40am, after you had eaten your cooked breakfast the continental side and drinks had been taken away so no chance to grab a coffee or croissant afterwards....
