Was in the mood for a burger but arrived and found this one only does pizzas and hot dogs. Pizza was very nice but ain't no burger. Limited space in this one so can understand.

I ordered a hot dog. 11 pounds for a sausage in a pizza, I think it’s expensive…. Maybe it’s because i’m french

Popped in for a pint yesterday . Good vibes , great staff and the tunes are always on point . The beer selection is amazing also . If you’re after a good beer you can never go wrong with a BrewDog . I did not eat at this location but the menu looked just as good as the other venues I’ve visited . Always a pleasure visiting BrewDog

Good service just a bit disappointed in the food choices, if you don't like pizza or hot dogs, probably steer clear as that's all that's available to eat.

We actually enjoyed this hotel more than the higher end on we stayed at during the start of our trip. We drove in from isle of skye and we were beyond exhausted. A hot shower, pub food and good beer really helped quell the hangry beast I had become at that point. I will forever recommend this hotel for anyone I know going to Edinburgh. The service was out of control amazing. The food was absolutely perfect. The beer…. obviously fantastic. But what I loved was the little area only available to people staying at the hotel. The rooms were stocked with great snacks, shower beers, other drinks and teas. We were in heaven. We will be staying here again next trip!

Small Brewdog, only pizza and hotdogs on the food menu

Craft beer bar and restaurant with mainly their own beers. They have a few options of invited beers from other local breweries. Service was quite slow, had to order my firsts beer 3 times before I got it with a male server. Second beer got a female server that was quite attentive and helpful to order, even gave me a taste of two beers before I made up my mind. Didn’t try any food although I didn’t see anyone else having any the 50 minutes I was there.

cat and david had amazing customer service, the drinks were very good and the atmosphere was amazing. the security was friendly. Weirdly all the bar staff had great hair, definitely the vibe. 10/10 will be back.

Booked out a space for a work event and staff were really friendly and helpful, especially in dealing with the tab. Great spot to book for big parties!

Beautiful experience with music, food and beer tasting. Between us we tasted 8. Quick service and friendly staff. Try the mandarin beer and the coffee grind. The pizzas are average with an extra point.

After a deeply disappointing experience at The Three Sisters next door, my friends and I were lucky to find DrewDog, and it completely salvaged our night. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Our first interaction was with Jacob, the general manager, who immediately impressed us with his professionalism and genuine concern for our situation. Despite the rough start to our evening, Jacob took the time to listen to our story and made it his mission to turn things around for us. His kindness didn’t stop there—he even surprised us with two rounds of free shots, a generous gesture that went a long way in lifting our spirits. Shortly after, Aidan stepped in and continued the positive vibe with his friendly and attentive service. While Jacob had already set the bar high, Aidan’s warm demeanor and care made us feel completely at ease and ensured we had a great time for the rest of the night. Thanks to Jacob and Aidan, what could have been a night ruined by the events at The Three Sisters turned into a memorable experience filled with good vibes and great service. DrewDog is the kind of place where the staff truly cares about their patrons, and it shows in everything they do. If you’re looking for a bar that goes the extra mile, DrewDog is the place to be. Nice place to drink beers. We chose a flight with 4 beers on tap. The dinner menu is limited. Also for a snack, there was a cheese board on the menu but we didn't take it. The beers were delicious. Staff friendly. Nice place.

We were unimpressed with the pizza and had to hassle staff to take our order. One guy was on his phone a lot. I'd stick with the ale, which was great as it always is at Brewdog pubs.

Great craft beer in the heart of downtown Edinburgh. IPA, NEIPA, lager, pilsner, stout, cider and more including alcohol free options. Beers from Brewdog as well as ever changing guest beers. Not sure if you’ll like it? Ask for a taste, no problem! There’s also a to-go beer fridge! Kid friendly up to certain times of the evening and ALWAYS dog friendly

It is an amazing bar. There is a large menu of beers and other drinks, and also, they have a little board games section which you can just borrow and play with your drunk friends.

We planned to eat but came really full, but the beer, the atmosphere, the music, the friendliness of the staff, this is the cosiest and warmest taprooms I ever walked into. Not to mention the Hop Frenzy - best IPA - and the fact the staff managed to secure pack of the best AF IPA for me.

Small but really busy bar! The team really know their stuff with some great beer recommendations. Definitely my favourite Brewdog bar in Edinburgh.

Typical BrewDog style in thus small bar, with a wide range of their own and a few guest beers. However it is the friendly and knowledgeable staff who make this the best of the current three BrewDog pubs in Edinburgh.

Booked the beer school tastings for 2, and was generously treated to 12 different beers covering all their kinds! Very friendly staff, very detailed description, truly enjoyed a lot. Will surely come back often as I have extensively known what's my favourite beer selection here.

Limited food menu, but lots of brewdog...

A very large and wide choice of Brew Dog beers but also other breweries. Also offers drinks other than beers. Prices in the high range of Edinburgh on the other hand (around £7 per pint). Quite intimate place not suitable for large groups. Not particularly atmospheric.

Not open for our booking time. As a result we went to another place for food and on return decided to get our pizza to go. When we got home discovered they were not what we had ordered

Twice they took a booking time when they weren't going to be open. We took the pizza home to eat and discovered they had given us the wrong pizzas. Disappointed

Had lunch and few beers in here. The staff were all spot on, giving me tip on which beer to try and letting me sample them. Went for a pizza and it was brilliant, a lovely base and sauce. A few of the party had the hot dogs and they were tasty too.

Service was top-notch. Great atmosphere and plenty of free board games to play while we had a few drinks. Dinner was very tasty but this branch does not do burger and fries like the others near by in Edinburgh. Would recommend for a cosy night out.

Even though I’m not a huge fan of beer I really did enjoy the Rainbow lime (green one on the photo) and Elvis juice :)

Popped in for a pizza and a few beers prior to a gig round the corner. Found a great seat, great atmosphere & staff friendly. Bar wasn't full but we were told we would have to wait around half an hour for pizza - no problem with us. My pizza crust was burnt but tasted good. Beer great as always. However I have to rate the cleanliness of the toilets as a zero. I used the accessible toilet in the bar and it was Disgusting!! It looked like it hadn't been cleaned for days - a thick layer of dirt on the sink, the toilet seat was broken, very dirty stained toilet - yuk..& the hand drier wasn't working & no paper towels instead. Just not up to standard Brew Dog!

Great visit yesterday for teatime birthday grazing goat pizza and beers. Fab food, beer and service and friendly staff. Would recommend and will be back again, many thanks x

Arrived at 1pm for lunch, ordered by around 1:10pm and waited over 1hr 30mins for pizzas which two came then 10 minutes later the other two arrived. Their excuse was they had made 40+ pizzas in 2hrs which is hard to believe as we saw around 9 pizzas in the time frame we had waited. Definitely a disappointing experience as I have enjoyed the locations in Glasgow previously. For it to take over 1hr and 30minutes for 4 pizzas is a joke.

Recently went here during my stay in Edinburgh. Food was good, but nothing to write home about. That said, the reason for the 5 star review was the amazing service. Josie was absolutely wonderful to deal with, and had amazing recommendations for activities and other places to visit during my stay. Will definitely be coming back.

Good choice of beers and good pizzas. Place is a bit noisy and cloistered. Shane they don’t have the wings and burgers.

My partner and I pre-booked the pizza and beer lunch deal. When we arrived the person running the bar didn't know what that was (he was covering from another branch, and there had been no hand over left for him by the regular staff) The website very much implies it's one pizza and 4 drinks per person, but we were only given 1 pizza between us, which for the £30 p/person price is worse than just ordering off the menu. The pizza was very nice, the beer was good and the collection of games to play was a really nice touch but I can't help feel a little bit short changed.

Tolles Ambiente, die Zimmer sind super schön und mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Extrem leckeres und auch vegatarisches/veganes Essen, Riesenauswahl an Getränken, immer freundliches und aufmerksames Personal. Nicht zuletzt der umweltfreundliche Umgang mit Ressourcen, der im ganzen Haus spürbar ist, hat mir total gefallen. Ich kann Brewdog nur empfehlen und möchte nochmal danke sagen für die schönen Tage dort!

got plenty of TVs to watch sports, plenty of drink choices and friendly customer services, however the price is a little crazy.... £18 for those wings to "share" you see my adult hands to scale with a tiny coleslaw in a mug. take it as you want but expensive for me

Had a booking but when we arrived only one member of staff so stood at the bar for a few minutes to find out where we were to be seated. Had an itison voucher for 2 pizzas and a bottle of wine. Seated and someone came over to take order. Food and drink served quickly but crust on one pizza very well done and the other ok. No one came back during or after the meal to check if we needed anything or more drinks and eventually we left.

Always a fan of BrewDog but really enjoyed this one. Service was great, beer as per usual was on point. We enjoyed the terrace here which has plenty of seating, especially for our group of 9. As with BrewDogs other establishments this one was dog friendly with a great little ‘K9 Hydration Station’ area! Nice to keep our pooches as refreshed as us.

i have no idea how brewdog Cowgate was, even though i booked and received a reminder email the day before, when we arrived on our booked date. It was Closed!!!!! still awaiting reply to my email..

I've had a very good time there with friends. One or the ladies working in the bar was very polite and friendly when I asked her for a beer recommendation. This was very cool!

Had one drink and left was okay. Toilet was so dirty badly needed a clean

2pm on a Fringe day, bar fairly quiet, tables available inside and out. No atmosphere, place was pretty grubby, the once white bricks of the bar look like they’re harbouring the next pandemic. Just stayed for one and left.

Lovely bar - very welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff (and great beer). A lovely spot to get away from the crowds.

Great service, brilliant staff, nothing was any hassle.

We had 6pizzas - however 2 delivered every 10minutes or so. Fortunately this worked for us we were 6 at a small table& we shared the pizzas that arrived so everyone tasted every pizza. So our only issue was space on the table for 2pizzas and 4glights of beer and a bottle of wine. Staff were great and we had a great evening.

No-nonsense, super friendly and laidback staff - plus a nice choice of Brewdog beers on draught - plus some very tasty (Scottish style) pizzas (2for1 before 5pm)... I will absolutely come back next time I am in town. A bit hidden away, unpretentious, and lacking a view; but all the more one of my favorite places.

It all started well. I was so happy to go there as I’m a big fan of their beers. Got there at 2.30pm, ordered beers and pizza for my dad and I. 45 minutes afterwards we still hadn’t got the pizzas. Went to ask the waitress about them and realized then that nothing had been actioned, the order had not been processed at all. She gave me the reason that she had been very busy - which really surprised me as the bar was pretty empty, only a couple of tables were taken. When I showed that I was surprised by her answer she said that I was rude and that she will just cancel my order and that my dad and I should go… I was so shocked by her answer. She just ruined all my experience. We left, it was 3.30pm, without having had any food (she still charged me for the beers though). The behavior of this waitress was just not acceptable. She was very rude. She should just have apologized and order the pizzas. Really really disappointing. For this reason I will not go to this bar anymore and this clearly harmed the image that I initially had of this great beer brand. Shame…

Grand bar. Doesn’t close at advertised time on a Friday - best to state the right times rather than mislead people.

Love the brewdog beers anyway so this place was always going to be off to a decent start. The staff were great, beers fresh as expected.

Always reminds me of Berlin... Make of that, good or bad, as you will.

Beer is what BrewDog does best.... and their pizzas are pretty good too! The 'King of Pigs' pizza is yum! Always friendly helpful staff, especially if you want to try something before you commit to a full drink!

Good range of brewdig ales, taste before you buy. Their espresso martini( in a bottle) isn't recommended by me though. Some lovely fruity low alcohol (2.5%) ales were nice. Ladies loo wasn't that nice, really tight space of your queuing, no loo roll(paper napkins). Nice booths in the bar area. They do pizzas if you're hungry.

Beer food and service was great

Went for the £1 beer school. Arrived at 7pm and waited at the bar for 10mins (bar person served two other groups that arrived to the bar after us - the second group kindly directed them to us being there first). We were shown to our seats without any explanation how the beer school worked. We had to get the bar persons attention again, wait another 20mins for the beers to arrive and ask for the QR code with the information. The idea in itself is nice, and thankfully we paid the offer price, but I certainly wouldn't recommend a friend to go there on a regular visit. Slow, unfriendly service (I did feel sorry that one person was left to serve the entire bar, it was quite busy). High prices for beers and average setting. Pizzas looked good, but also noticed v slow service at other tables, people finishing their pizza whilst the last was arriving to the table (again one person serving all the pizzas in a small space). Go find a chill bar with better prices and friendly service that makes you feel welcome.

Came here for a pint since it was next to the Hotel. Hywl was serving us and provided great service - even going above and beyond by making us delicious pizza when the kitchen had just closed. A+ service and beer

I really recommend this place! We had such a great experience. The pizzas were excellent and we had a ‘flight’ (4 small beers) with the really excellent advice of Ashley. We tried beers we would never have chosen and were really pleasantly surprised. The customer service was so good by Ashley and ´DadBrad’. Thanks for a lovely lunch. Highly recommended to anyone!
