Really wonderful service, food and ambience. The staff are really wonderful, really fast even though it is busy. I enjoyed my time here both my birthday then my partner’s graduation . I want to give a big big big shout to Holly!!! She was really wonderful and accommodating, I needed to arrange a wee party for her, she helped with the balloons and decor, really good taste in decor as well. Spend your big days here and ask for Holly!!

Food was good but they DON’T TAKE CASH and don’t have it advertised anywhere. Had to pay 50 pound for a 15 pound sandwich.

Absolutely super cool hotel with the best beer in Edinburgh. We stayed at the hotel for 6 nights and it was just great. The rooms are large and beautifully decorated with a fridge full of beer in the bathroom. Whether at breakfast, for an afternoon snack or just for a beer in the evening, the staff were always friendly and helpful. If we go on holiday to Edinburgh again, it will only be at the BrewDog DogHouse.

Visited here on the 21 June 2024. I gave 5 stars for service. The guy helping us was really attentive, trying to find us a booth. We were a party of 4. Ordered the dark black beer which was delicious. Saying we wanted to eat, one of the girls told us there was more seating upstairs, we went upstairs only to be told it was a private function. So, went downstairs again. Looking at the menu, wow, its complicated, now, bearing in mind i was the only English speaker in our party and had to translate everything on the menu. So, we decided that we would just have a couple of sharing dishes of chicken wings. Look at the menu for the chicken wings. Step 1 Choose size (3 options) Step 2 Choose flavour, ( 3 flavours)Step 3 Choose your wing,,,,crispy buttermilk, beer battered, cauliflower, temple of Seitan , Whattttt? what the hell is that? So, i've got to translate and explain all this to 3 people. This is getting to be hard work. Keep the menu simple for all your foreign customers. Anyway, the wings came after a 35 minute wait and to be honest, they were not good. We drank the excellent beer and went to the railway station for a butty. This is just a bit of honest feedback that you guys ask for. So, keep the menu simple and in plain English. The front of house guys do a good job. The beer is good but the chicken wings are awful.

A short walk from Waverley Train Station this is a great spot if you want great beer. The staff were excellent despite being super busy! If you love craft beer, you’ll be in heaven. Everything from lager, IPA, cider, stout and sours and more. And alcohol-free options. Kid friendly (up to certain times). Always dog friendly. Hotel is called the Doghouse and it’s amazing.

Great day out for fathers day, with all fathers eating for free, really good food, great service, so attentive and relaxed easy going manner, so good.

Amazing service, the waiter was super kind with the little kid who was unsure what to order. He also recommended a coffee stout, and it was delicious 😋. The food was very good and the ambiance was very chill and relaxed. The front desk staff was also super courteous.

Excellent oasis in the city, and so conveniently close to the railway station. Surprisingly open terrace in a concrete jungle. Beer good too!

I was hoping the bar would be more unique consisting it’s the hotel, but it’s the same as all others. Nonetheless all brewdog bars get 5 stars!

Fantastic beer and burger options

Staff were great, I was picking my GF up from waverely, her train was delayed my phone had died what else could I do but have a beer? The staff were super helpful, charger my phone for me and dead friendly 🙌

Definitely book if it's for a special occasion and you enjoy beer!

Waited for over an hour for literally burgers and fries, just to be told there was still a while to go. Stole hours from my one night in Edinburgh (Edited to respond) I understand being busy but in the future I suggest the leadership would instruct the staff to manage expectations better. I was seated without much wait and when I asked if I could order, I was told "sure!" I then didn't hear back for over an hour, and when I got up to ask I was told it would still be a while. I should've at the very very least been comped a beer for my wait.

It was absolutely amazing I was speechless when I saw my room would strongly recommend a visit to anyone going to Edinburgh

Have been waiting for food for more than 45 minutes after ordering. Do not go there if you want to eat. Update: after 1 hour waiting, we’ve been informed that it should be ok in 20 minutes : we went out without eating. It’s a shame.

Best hotel ever. Best location, best room, best service, best food, and without a doubt the best beer.

Really good value brunch deal via Itison. Food was really good and better-than-expected choice of included drink.

We stopped in for lunch with the kids before checking into our accomodation nearby. The staff were fantastic and the food and drinks were very tasty, albeit pretty pricey. The bonus was some other guests having a birthday party for their dog nearby :)

A short walk from Waverley Station. A nice spot for drinks, they have a terrace bar, beautiful spot to enjoy drinks in the summer.

We didn't stay and only popped in for drinks. We were well looked after and the building is beautiful in a great location for everything to see in Edinburgh. The outdoor terrace would be fantastic for food and drinks in Summer!

Stayed here for my 25th birthday this week! Cal ( especially my bestie Cal) and Aiden made it a fantastic experience! If ever returning or first time visiting i highly recommend this hotel. Great vibes, Rooms, Location, and people. Already missing it.

We love our stay here. My friend and I are both beer nerds, so it's a perfect hotel for our culinary trip in Edinburgh. The service is good, and hotel facility is great (there's a record player, guitar, puzzles in the room) and more board games, free candy in the common room. Not to mention you get tokens for free beer if you chose to keep your towels. We loved it.

SUPERB HOTEL! Honestly can't wait to stay again. Food was amazing, beer was (as you'd expect) excellent, staff were greet too. Free beer on check-in, free beer if you re-use your towels each day, free 'pick & mix' sweetie selection and also coffee. The rooms are fantastic too - really cool & funky. Hotel is in a great location, being just a few minutes walk from Waverley train station.

Met my daughter her for breakfast as it's the perfect location, especially if you're using Waverley Railway Station, less than a 5 minute walk. Service was so friendly and attentive, even as it was the same time as many people booking in and out of the hotel too. Coffee was delicious and I ordered the American breakfast, which was tasty, hot, presented beautifully and served quickly. Breakfast was leisurely, we never felt rushed or pressured to leave, even though it was approaching lunchtime. Cleanliness was great throughout. I can't comment on the hotel rooms as I only used the dining/bar area.

Had food here. Was very impressed by the friendly professionalism of the staff, the speed of service and overall the quality of the food offered! I will be back!

Over-hyped and over-priced beers. On that specific instance, I had the amber ale, which was absolutely tasteless. But the worst part is the food, which is terrible. I had some chicken wings, fries, and mac 'n' cheese. Everything tasted liked microwaved industrial food

Enjoyable brunch in a pleasant modern environment just off the Royal Mile and a short walk from Waverley Station. Food was excellent with the fried chicken and waffles, and the bacon with pancakes well cooked and fresh from the kitchen. Service was quick, professional and friendly throughout. Will visit again to give the burgers a try too

The staff here are incredly welcoming and attentive. Charged my Mrs' phone behind the bar and replaced a lackluster drink with no fuss. Food was exceptional too. Thank you, guys!

Lovely breakfast. I got the American breakfast and it was so good!! My partner got the pancakes which needed a bit more butter or syrup but generally really good. Coffee lovely. Service fab

One of the best places I’ve stayed! Couldn’t fault it, they have thought of everything! Comfortable room, well stocked mini bar/snacks. Well catered if travelling with your fur babies! Fab communal space for guests to relax, play games and even a pix n mix 🙌. Staff are attentive and make you feel very welcome.

BUY A BURGER OR PIZZA GET ANOTHER FOR £1 DEAL ! Well not really as they don’t sell pizza’s here, so burgers it was. The burgers are tasty but not worth £14.75 & then £3.50 for a small mug of fries. The staff knew that we had booked for the Buy one get one for a pound deal but gave us a bill for full price. No apology from the waiter who tried this one , I wonder if they do this all the time. There are plenty of places better and cheaper like “Scran” in Cockburn Street, we will go there the next time.

The best place in town for beers!

Most know BrewDog for their beers but I have learnt to deeply appreciate also their food. We went there on the morning of New Year's Day for a very early lunch. Because of that I didn't feel like ordering a beer but decided to focus instead purely on the food. I had seen pictures of the breakfast which looked majestic. Happy to confirm that it tastes as good as it looks!! The bacon was very tasty and sausages were quite interesting. The tomatoes juicy & ripe. The mushrooms were also very good and the beans had some special seasoning. Loved that the slice of bread that they included was not very large but was extremely tasty because dipped in butter before it got toasted. A funny initiative they have is that you can challenge the waiter at "rock, paper, scissor" to win a free dessert. We won one but unfortunately didn't have space left to eat also that! Next year, maybe 🙂

Been a few time but when I booked for the Hogmanay party I forgot to book for my friends. Spoke to Phannin on Instagram and she fixed the booking quickly for me! Amazing customer service!

This is a great place to stay. The staff are awesome and the atmosphere is unique. Can't wait to go back.

Service was wonderful throughout. However, very disappointed with the room after choosing this as a pre Christmas treat for our family. The record player didn't work. The bathroom door did not lock. We were only given one key card between 4 which was a problem with there being a lobby between the hall and bedroom door meaning no one could knock to get in. But the saddest thing was that all the beer in the shower fridge was frozen, which I only realised whilst in the shower. So when alternative beers were delivered, the novelty factor was gone. And to be honest, this made me grumpy for the rest of the stay. We are still waiting for the refund for the shower fridge. Wonderful staff though.

From start to finish the process was straightforward and efficient. We were kept upto date with any changes which was very reassuring. On arrival the staff were pleasant and friendly and our table was just perfect. We all enjoyed a great night with an amazing range of products and a brilliant atmosphere. We will be back.

The hotel was so cool and quirky and the room was super spacious and edgy. Great service with great little touches like a record player, pick n mix etc and the beer school was a highlight! Also in a fab location for anyone wanting to explore the city.

The most amazing stay in this hotel for a whole weekend! We stayed as part of our wedding weekend that Brewdog so kindly hosted us for our wedding reception and meal. Absolutely amazing atmosphere, great staff and excellent choice of Ales. Food was amazing. We visited on the 1st November as two couples we were just popping in for drink. Such a great vibe we ended up staying all night till closing!. Staff couldn't have done more. Definitely need to check this place out if visiting the city. Will definitely be back!!

The staff were amazingly attentive. Someone would be over to the table every 40 or so minutes to ask of we want anything else. They have updated their app so it's much easier to order to the table. Great for bigger groups.

Needed a place where we could chill out with a nice beer out of the rain, and I've been wanting to come to this particular brewdog for ages. Main bar area has either booths or tables, and the front of house team are the best, mixing a good knowledge of the beers with a friendly and welcoming demeanor. Large windows across the front make this a lovely light drinking spot during the day. I didn't get up to the terrace, which on paper sounds like it would be quite nice in summer. We didn't try food, but what was being delivered to other patrons looked great, and importantly the beer range was spot on. Basically, whatever you're doing on or near the royal mile will be improved with a visit to this place! Now sadly, there is a negative, and it's a big one. In my usual coverage of suitability in a zombie apocalypse, I'm not convinced that this place fares well due to the big windows, which I fear would be very hard to barricade against the undead and even worse against raiders. That said, due to its slightly out of the way location, you may find its reserves of beer and snacks unmolested in the early days of survival so it may be worth a quick visit to keep you going while you set up your farms and whatnot.

Best hotel I've stayed in! Rooms are so cosy, there's a lounge area for hotel guests with sweets, tea/coffee and games, the food is amazing and the staff go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. Could not recommend this place enough!!

We're staying in the hotel and this is a must stay for anyone who likes good hotels. I have never stayed at a hotel more professionally run nor as felt as taken care of as I have here. Plus it's a Brewdog which is an absolute plus! It's good-time and beer-centric which is fantastic. No extra charges for room service and all additional costs, such as a fully stocked mini-bar (which I always thought was a myth I'm hotels) are clearly and reasonably stated. The bar is amazing, the rooms are phenomenal (we want to live here) and the staff are the best I've stayed with. It deserves its AA 4*'s if not more. A must stay for any hotel lovers and beer drinkers.

Lovely stay. Brilliant rooms really quirky. Lots of space, bed super comfy and towels large and fluffy. Everything you need for a very comfortable stay. Would defo recommend. 👌

Brewdog Brewery offers an outstanding beer selection, and the upstairs balcony provides a relaxed atmosphere. The pleasant surprise was the unexpectedly excellent food menu. A hidden gem that combines great brews with a delightful dining experience. Highly recommend exploring both their beer and food offerings!

Bought voucher on itison soo worth it

We didn't stop at the hotel, just dropped by for a drink and some food. We both had a burger with a side of vegan wings and a couple of beers each. I just love brewdog, so I have to give it 5 stars.
