It's become tradition for us to start any night out in Edinburgh here. Really like the atmosphere and huge choice of beers. We were lucky enough to stay one weekend too and abs loved the room. Highly re giving it a try.

It was a really nice place, with great variety of Beer and food. You could order via Qr Code and pay online before you receive the order.

Service super helpful, helped me to find draught I liked. However they should work on booking system/service as we booked the table with baby/pram and were told we will get table box downstairs but got very small table upstsirs with no space. A bit too busy even druing the week but overall atmosphere is okay

Nice place , nice food , nice beer options.

Great staff, especially the young man with the moustache and the tall young fella with glasses and a checkered shirt. Great start to the day and they gave me a dashing recommendation for a five a side football pitch in Edinburgh.

The burgers here are very good. Not you processed "meat" burgers. If they are, then they're very good! Service was excellent. I would say avoid the booths on the left as you come in as everytime someone comes in or leaves you will get blasted by cold air on a cold day.

Always a great time had when visiting The doghouse Edinburgh. The service is always first class and the food is just excellent!

Didn't have any food here. Just had a few beers, great variety and also have Gluten Free beer that was good.

If you are even slightly considering booking this hotel, do not hesitate, just book it! We stayed in October and to this day we cannot stop raving about our experience. We were celebrating a recent engagement as well as a birthday and recieved an incredible room upgrade as well as thoughtful notes/drinks from the staff. We dropped out luggage off prior to check-in, came back to find a "birthday" beer and small bottle of bubbly in our room to celebrate. On our departure day our flight was cancelled and the front desk staff were quick to help us out, move a few things around and were able to secure an extra night stay for us in the room we were already in, while throwing in a free extra breakfast the next morning to help take some of our stress away. The best staff and the best service!!!

Great vibe and so dog friendly…Burgers are full of flavour and good quality ingredients…the service folks are friendly and fun!

Had the Burger and my pal had the 2nd for £1. Both delicious. Beer (Hazy Jane Guava) was superb. Only downside was a wee bit of "drainage" smell when entering.

A very friendly welcome, and service from the staff. Food was cooked and presented perfectly, and good portions. A quiet time of day, so it wasn't a place to hang about in. More like an airport bar, than a pub.

Perfect location not far from the train station and city centre. A lot of interesting points around as well as hotels even it wasn’t far from my hotel. Good and fast service. Atmosphere always cool in any Brewdog. Nice seating area for groups. Great selection of beers on tap and fridge is full of cans and bottles. Their food was good too. I love more guest beer and sour section. Surely recommend.

Great venue, fantastic service and food. Dog was given fresh water. There was an issue with the bill which was quickly rectified.

Had a fantastic work event at Brewdog - Doghouse. Excellent venue, the upstairs bar/terrace area was perfect for our team get-together. Staff were, friendly, attentive and efficient.

Had a nice time, with a few problems. Said on the booking we were bringing a dog, but they didn't give us a dog friendly table. Son ordered the Vegan burger but was given the meat version. They obviously cooked him a new burger, meanwhile my food went cold. Hard to get someone's attention for more drinks. Nice atmosphere, but overall I wouldn't come back.

The best brewdog in Edinburgh. Lovely setup and layout, with a nice atmosphere. Winter time is stout time, and I recommend Rocky Road. Lovely.

Possibly one of the best breakfasts I've had. There was a 8% carrot cake sour on the drinks board. Absolutely awesome. The staff gave me a taste of it before I ordered one. Great place.

It's great when a place is pet-friendly—makes the whole experience even more enjoyable. Plus, a wide selection of beers and whiskeys I have tried Punk IPA and Lost Lager beer for the first time amd felt really amazing. Thanks to the friendly staff for thier recommendations.

Came here to celebrate a friend’s birthday and it was the right atmosphere and food for a fun time. We had the Korean wings and fries which weren’t overkill, instead super yummy with just a touch of spice.

My husband and I had a great time! The bottomless brunch was so worth it. The food menu was very different and so made the experience feel more adventurous. Not to mention the extensive drinks menu - any dog would be happy here 😉 I had bought a voucher from ‘buy a gift’, so that was amazing value. We weren’t rushed and we nearly booked a room that was going a bit cheaper that evening, but unfortunately too close to Christmas for us. We will be back!

Excellent value for money really cool place to eat and have a good beer.

We stayed for 3 nights in one of the captains suites. Very comfortable rooms with nicely appointed bathroom , small kitchen, comfortable bed 2 tvs. Very dog friendly as you would expect and overall a great experience. We didn’t eat there but the food looked great as you would expect from Brewdog. Coffees were excellent. Will be back

Visited for my husband's birthday. He received a card and a birthday sticker!! Every time we got a round in, birthday boy got a free drink 🍻

One of the best hotel experiences I have ever had. The 'themed' hotel had an efficient but comfortable informal feel. The staff deserve special mention in going above and beyond to ensure the stay was first class. I would totally recommend this hotel and will certainly stay again when back in Edinburgh.

A burger and a pint of simple lager is now £24. It is an extortion. The burger wasn't even as good as to justify this crazy price. It was just an average burger.

I came in in the morning for a coffee. Although the place was almost empty, it did not lack atmosphere. I'm not sure what they were doing different to other bars, but whatever it is, they were doing it right Staff were v friendly and welcoming

This Brewdog is slightly out of the way compared to many other of the pubs and you wouldn't know it was there if you hadn't searched for it purposely like I did. It's tucked down a street and then on a corner, you would not think it's there. When I got there the staff were very friendly, gave me samples of the various beers ro try before I drank them, food is good too. Great selection of nice beer when I was there.

Great bar and atmosphere! The finger food was good and they offer games, which made our experience great. Beer selection is also good.

As always a super experience at Brew House/Doghouse. Staff excellent, food delicious. Not a lot more to say.

Stopped by for a coffee and some lunch. Nice place to chill, and good service received.

We booked some tables for food and drinks for a 30th birthday party, and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. When a last minute issue came up with seating, the staff were quick to respond and solved the issue. The preordering system for food was smooth and easy, and even easier for paying. The staff were nice to deal with in person and very happy to help. Can't recommend more. We didn't use the hotel rooms, so can't comment there.

Took long to get my 1 dessert which I didn't end up getting free after losing to their rock paper scissors game with the bartender which this & lothian road branch only do & only works if you order at least 1 item from the menu, & both bartenders were so lackluster about it, which made it awkward. I would have wanted to come back to try it again but maybe the lothian road branch where my relative had been where they won/had a good time.

Dog friendly!!!! Food amazing. Also for a town pub so chilled, no constant baraging for if you want more or pressure to leave if you're slowing down a little. Did find the building difficult to navigate - may have been more of a me thing though. Def prepare to walk or taxi is as not great parking and buses are a wee walk.

We love BrewDog, but had never visited this location! It was very busy (for good reason), but all of the workers we interacted with were communicative, friendly, and helpful. Reservation recommended.

a top hotel with an exceptional ambience, loving (beer) details and a very courteous team! The only downside is that certain rooms have very low ceilings. I'm 1.90m and didn't have headroom everywhere in our room (108)! It was also not possible to shower standing upright. This might be a tip for tall people. Thanks Brewdog

Lots of different craft beers. Pet friendly.

We were so glad our B&B host recommended this spot. With such an incredible menu, it was tough to choose what to order. My friend opted for the wings, while I went for the Return of the Veg burger with truffle fries, and we were both absolutely blown away. The veggie burger was hands down the best I've ever had. The beer selection was equally impressive, especially the King Crush Milkshake IPA, and I was thrilled to find hazy IPAs on the menu. We highly recommend this place and would definitely return if we had more time here.

Extensive craft beer list. The IPAs in particular were delicious. Friendly, quick service and delicious food with vegetarian and vegan options. Awesome atmosphere. We came back for a second evening out. Thanks for the great time(s).

I was given a Red Letter Days spirit tasting gift and chose 8 gins between two of us, despite having to pay extra for the tonics (there's always a catch with RLD) the staff and venue was great and we had an enjoyable time.

Food took a bit longer than expected to come but when it did it was delicious. Great rooftop terrace good place to socialise.

Really wonderful service, food and ambience. The staff are really wonderful, really fast even though it is busy. I enjoyed my time here both my birthday then my partner’s graduation . I want to give a big big big shout to Holly!!! She was really wonderful and accommodating, I needed to arrange a wee party for her, she helped with the balloons and decor, really good taste in decor as well. Spend your big days here and ask for Holly!!

Food was good but they DON’T TAKE CASH and don’t have it advertised anywhere. Had to pay 50 pound for a 15 pound sandwich.

Absolutely super cool hotel with the best beer in Edinburgh. We stayed at the hotel for 6 nights and it was just great. The rooms are large and beautifully decorated with a fridge full of beer in the bathroom. Whether at breakfast, for an afternoon snack or just for a beer in the evening, the staff were always friendly and helpful. If we go on holiday to Edinburgh again, it will only be at the BrewDog DogHouse.

Visited here on the 21 June 2024. I gave 5 stars for service. The guy helping us was really attentive, trying to find us a booth. We were a party of 4. Ordered the dark black beer which was delicious. Saying we wanted to eat, one of the girls told us there was more seating upstairs, we went upstairs only to be told it was a private function. So, went downstairs again. Looking at the menu, wow, its complicated, now, bearing in mind i was the only English speaker in our party and had to translate everything on the menu. So, we decided that we would just have a couple of sharing dishes of chicken wings. Look at the menu for the chicken wings. Step 1 Choose size (3 options) Step 2 Choose flavour, ( 3 flavours)Step 3 Choose your wing,,,,crispy buttermilk, beer battered, cauliflower, temple of Seitan , Whattttt? what the hell is that? So, i've got to translate and explain all this to 3 people. This is getting to be hard work. Keep the menu simple for all your foreign customers. Anyway, the wings came after a 35 minute wait and to be honest, they were not good. We drank the excellent beer and went to the railway station for a butty. This is just a bit of honest feedback that you guys ask for. So, keep the menu simple and in plain English. The front of house guys do a good job. The beer is good but the chicken wings are awful.

A short walk from Waverley Train Station this is a great spot if you want great beer. The staff were excellent despite being super busy! If you love craft beer, you’ll be in heaven. Everything from lager, IPA, cider, stout and sours and more. And alcohol-free options. Kid friendly (up to certain times). Always dog friendly. Hotel is called the Doghouse and it’s amazing.

Amazing service, the waiter was super kind with the little kid who was unsure what to order. He also recommended a coffee stout, and it was delicious 😋. The food was very good and the ambiance was very chill and relaxed. The front desk staff was also super courteous.

Excellent oasis in the city, and so conveniently close to the railway station. Surprisingly open terrace in a concrete jungle. Beer good too!

I was hoping the bar would be more unique consisting it’s the hotel, but it’s the same as all others. Nonetheless all brewdog bars get 5 stars!

Staff were great, I was picking my GF up from waverely, her train was delayed my phone had died what else could I do but have a beer? The staff were super helpful, charger my phone for me and dead friendly 🙌
