After reading reviews thought we would give Brewbird a visit for lunch. Didn’t disappoint, the staff are friendly and really helpful, the atmosphere is relaxed and the bacon butty I had was generous and very delicious, in fact the best I have had anywhere. My friend had the tuna mayo with avocado which she enjoyed. Would visit again and highly recommend.

Love this cafe/restaurant. It’s by my work so have used it a fair bit lately. I love coffee with oat milk and they have it, and they do great avocado falafel and hummus pitta bread. Everything is freshly made. Even had fresh orange juice yesterday! Lush! The staff are so friendly and nice. Can definitely recommend it and very reasonable prices too. Go try!

Great coffee, eggs and bacon and cosy atmosphere. Comfy chairs, thick sandwiches for lunch and feel good factor and not heaving with hipsters as it’s a tiny bit off the beaten track.

We stopped for a late brunch - the staff was pleasant, the atmosphere cosy and the food, if a little slow, was very tasty. Would recommend.

I stopped off at this relaxing cafe with a friend. Service was informal and relaxed but the coffee was some of the best I have had. They used beans from climpson and son so obviously take pride in serving up quality.

The best coffee in Camberwell (if not London) and very nice food as well. The staff are always friendly and helpful and it is a welcoming place to have a break and relax. I have only been in a few times but it is already my favourite coffee shop.

Brewbird was established in 2014 and is the social enterprise arm of the award winning St Giles Trust. it is a hidden gem located in a lovely redbrick building just off the Peckham Road between Camberwell & Peckham. The Brewbird provides a different and great venue for a light lunch during the day in an attractive light airy room which opens out through large glass sliding doors to a hidden courtyard where you can enjoy your lunch in the fresh air. The food is very good quality, fresh and appetising served by friendly welcoming staff. After a few visiits we had a chat with the manager David to organise a evening birthday party (drinks , canapes / snacks) for my wife and about 50 guests. David was extremely helpful in the planning of the event . The canapes and snacks were plentiful and very good quality, David and his Brewbird team provided excellent service throughout the evening - enursing that the event was a great success Brewbird is not only an interesting , attractive and a great place to take lunch or a snack , or more. In doing so you will be supporting a very worthwile cause in the local community: - Through Brewbird, St Giles Trust provide training in barista and baking customer service and management skills to individuals , primarily disadvantaged young people a second chance and support in a well managed working environment.....
