First time visiting the coffee shop, very friendly staff lovely clean feel about the place and the food was amazing so fresh, will definitely be returning

Today I was meeting a friend I havent seen for 3 years due to covid. Halfway between us both travelling time is Risca, so we decided on this coffee shop. Clearly advertised on both sites says open 10am-1pm. When I got there around 10.45am the place was closed, no sign of any activity at all. No additional notice on door to say on holiday etc. Very poor.

Ordered a full breakfast, had very cheap hash browns, cheap frozen sausages, grease laden mushrooms and a half cold egg. Will definitely not be revisiting this place. Serving beans in a glass jar certainly does not make this any different from any other cheap greasy spoon on the high street.

My favourite local cafe, small, cosy, great service and everything freshly prepared. Highly recommended.

Called in here today on way back from hospital appointment. Small, friendly place, not a big menu but what we had was delicious. We both had lamb cawl served with bread and butter. A hot comfort food on a very cold day. We will definitely call here again. The carrot cake we took home was lovely too.

Found this by luck on the way home . Really friendly staff had a fantastic breakfast . It was really tasty and huge portions would strongly recommend .

I love this place, my friend and I have met here regularly and it's a place you can stay to chat after your food. The cakes are sooo good and food is good quality and good size portions. We usually end up getting a 2nd coffee and a cake to take home for the kids. Staff are really sweet too, which makes the experience a lit nicer.

Breakfast is really tasty! Cakes are delicious too. Great place to meet friends/family for coffee, lovely staff and atmosphere.

I had a day off and called in for a cooked breakfast to treat myself. I had breakfast and a cup of tea which came to just over £7. Breakfast is served for quite a large part of the day which is a great idea. Breakfast consisted of a fried egg, two slices of bacon, two sausage, two hash browns, mushrooms, beans and two slices of toast. All of which was freshly cooked and wonderfully presented. I loved the decor. Very smart and quite en trend, however the inside is quite small with only 5 tables. The staff were pleasant and I was made to feel very welcome. I was served immediately and advised of special offers that were available. The coffee shop offers excellent value for money and is definitely worth a visit when in the area. I will definitely be going back.

Just had a breakfast here whilst waiting for the garage opposite to fit tyres to my car. Food was a good standard, cooked fresh and nice and hot, friendly service.

A small, perfectly formed coffee house! Spotlessly clean, amazing cakes, (vegan Parma violet and chocolate cake looked amazing) food cooked to order , served piping hot by great staff. Easy to get to by public transport, there is a car park, and free wifi

Took my 18 yr old son for breakfast before college. We had been to the gym so it was well deserved. Service was amazing and waitress extremely polite. Will be back.

Fantastic eggy bread stack, delicious coffee, service was a little slow, as we did wait for a while before we received our drinks. A little expensive for us, but I would still recommend that you at least try the eggy bread stack at once.
