Brens Barista in Blackpool

Been a few years since last in Blackpool and one of the first places we chose to revisit was ‘Brens’. Absolutely gutted that it was no more. Visited several times, when it had just opened and thought it was a winner. Hope the guys and Bren(da) are doing well! X

It’s a crying shame that more locals didn’t support it. It seems that lots of people are resistant to any new venues that might improve Blackpool for locals and visitors alike.

Was walking around Blackpool and wanted a cuppa and just happened across this place. It was clean and comfortable, the people were welcoming and friendly, the prices were reasonable but the cherry on top for me was the fact that they had a selection of gluten free cakes/buns. All too often there's either a gluten free brownie or nothing atall. Next time I'm in Blackpool I'll certainly go there again and try the lunch menu

Coffee shop/bar. I ate lunch here ( a beef burger) which was of good quality and nicely presented. Friendly welcome from staff and from their resident dog a large Bernese mountain. If in central Blackpool you are looking for coffee or a light lunch Brens is worth seeking out.

What a great little place this is set back slightly on the main strip (almost opposite slug and lettuce ) Met a few freinds for wine and cocktails here Brenda the dog so lovely greeting us as were the owners of course (lol) the guyz were so helpful and kind We decided to stay for food too which was so good The cocktails are amazing Such a warm welcoming place to relax decor is lovely Nothing too much trouble and go out of their way to help Going back again today for more cocktails

Visited the cafe for a afternoon tea, very friendly and welcoming staff. Lovely rack of sandwiches, cakes, scones with jam and cream and served with tea or coffee. Well worth the visit.

Great service, fabulous afternoon tea with the family and the friendliest staff I have ever met. Brenda the dog was so friendly and the kids loved her.

I stumbled across this venue whilst in Blackpool, upon entering you are greeted by Bren a Gorgeous dog very friendly and very cute! The owners of the establishment are fantastic, and there care given is exemplary, I ordered a drink, and was made very welcome by the owners and there member of staff. They have a varied menu with something for everyone’s taste. As it was Sunday I opted for the roast Beef dinner. I was not disappointed! The portion size was just right, and it was cooked to perfection. Very tasty indeed and came with all the trimmings you would expect from a Sunday roast. They have a great little bar that serves alcohol too and this was well stocked up and very popular with the guests that was in at the same time as me. ( Cocktails looked amazing) As for the venue it’s self, it’s laid out exceptionally well plenty of space and the decor is very inviting and created a very relaxing environment. The whole area was very clean and tidy. The bathrooms exactly the same very clean. They had chairs and tables outside also, and in the sun it was gorgeous to unwind after my dinner with a nice drink relax watching the world go by. I’m glad I stumbled upon Bren’s Bistro. And I will definitely be going again.

Lovely little bistro, it’s the only cafe/ bistro in Blackpool that I could say was good, clean and reasonably priced. 😀🙏

Lovely place with great food especially the Sunday Lunch. The owners and excellent staff make sure everyone's happy, it really is like one big happy family. The prices are very competitive and this really is a great addition to the Blackpool eating/drinking scene. Of course what makes this place unique is Bren the resident Bernese Mountain dog. Highly recommended.

A great find in Blackpool - so welcoming, and great drinks too. A must visit when in the area! Owners stayed open past their closing time and chatted to us, recommending local places to visit. Great company, and will be back soon!

It’s my favourite stop for coffee and bacon sandwich whenever I’m in the area. Always a warm friendly welcome. It’s clean and comfortable and the welcome from Brenda (their beautiful Bernese Mountain Dog) is an added bonus.

Family visit to Blackpool, accidently found this little restaurant. So glad we did as there's nowhere that seemed to be serving a decent breakfast locally. So friendly and great service only 3 weeks into opening. Couldn't fault the place and revisited the next morning.

10/10 best breakfast in the town definitely recommend to anyone, the staff are polite and respectful
