We went to have dinner for my bachelor party and the experience was amazing. Nice restaurant with amazing views. The food was 10/10 - we had a variety of starters and different mains, all of them were great. Saad services was excellent, very attentive and helpful. I will definitely repeat!

A tastefully-decorated gastropub with great views over the Thames and a genuinely relaxed, classic vibe. The food and drinks were faultless.

GLORIFIED WEATHERSPOONS Came here at 7pm on Friday 17th January, only a couple of tables. The place slowly started to fill up and still 3 members of staff serving. The poor staff was rushing around trying to work as quickly as possible. It's understaffed, especially for the price of the food and drinks that they were charging. We ordered 3 starters, chicken wings were bit overcooked and under flavoured. Fried calamari were tiny portion and the cod bites were the better one out of the three. My partner had the chicken curry, which came with 2 pieces of small naan bread, it tasted like the ones you would get from the supermarket. I've had the steak and fries, and the steak was tasty and cooked well. However there were no sauces offered. Forgot to take pictures of the mains, as it took a while to come and was too hungry by then. We ordered the salted caramel brownie with ice-cream, it arrived really quickly, but then waiter realised he made a mistake with something. He immediately took it away and after waiting for more than 10 minutes, it hasn't came back, so we decided to cancel the dessert and pay the bill. Even trying to get their attention to get the bill was near impossible, so after another 10 minutes. I just lost my patience of waiting and walked to the lady and asked for the bill. It does offer a nice river view of Canary Wharf and Rotherhithe. But still I won't come back, as it's just simply a "Glorified Weatherspoon with a view"

Celebrated our 1 year anniversary our 1st time. The place looks first of all amazing with view on the Thames. The waiter who looked after us was the best so welcoming and gave us the best table! Thank u Ellyes. I even asked for my favorite cocktails which was not on the menu and Ellyes was like "of course we can make it" it's very rare to find a restaurants who just look after their customer like this ! I ordered the smoke cod and it was the bed fish i ever had melting in my mouth! My partner ordered the steak and even bite his lips coz the food was too good ! The restaurant was getting empty and about to close but our drinks was not finish but we were never rush to leave and were even given the time needed to enjoy our time. We didn't order dessert as we were too full but we will definitely come back and try that !

Went for an early dinner, and loved every single bit. Was just a shame they were out of beef wellington, but I’ll return some other time to try it. Was a bit cloudy, but that’s on UK weather, but the view for the river it’s still spectacular and Jowita was absolutely amazing.

Visit February 14 for Valentines Day. Very beautiful decor, the restaurant being on the banks of the Thames. Warm welcome, tasteful decoration too bad the waiter forgot our aperitif.. we got the dishes straight away.. Bourde was well "caught" by one of the managers who kindly offered us two glasses of wine. Apart from this small problem, good service. We had the butter chicken and the mushroom canelonni. It was incredibly good. The butter chicken is strongly spicy just the way I like it. The cannelloni are deliciously made. Small disappointment with the desserts. 4 à la carte desserts including 3 ice creams. We're not big fans of ice cream. Especially in February at 3 degrees outside. I recommend this restaurant for a romantic evening on the banks of the Thames.

Really good food and service from the amazing Saad. He guided us through the whole evening and we receive the best service ever. The restaurant has an amazing view from the Thames and also the place looks amazing, a really good vibe. Highly recommended!

Very expensive music to loud. Great view but the food wasn't the best

The setting and service is excellent here. The food is good, just would like to see a fresh fish option replacing the number of beef options (although the latter is Mr Ramsey's signatures). You'll not be disappointed with the combination of the 3 elements to enjoyable and good quality dining. I must also say a huge thank you to a couple of staff members (Alison and Saad) who are such a credit to the restaurant services.

Passed this pearl on a day out taking in the sights in London. Fairly priced for a Ramsay restaurant, so the lads decided to fill our hunger with a riverside view. The portions were a bit too big for our danish appetites (only 2/6 finished their portions), but the atmosphere was great and the food delicious. The food took too long to arrive, but our waiter, an american, was superb - so the experience was saved. The reciept said his name was Ellyes(?), but anyway; he was great and very attentive. Will consider a revisit.

Incredible experience, will definitely be returning. My mother & I enjoyed 2 courses from the seasonal set menu, I had the soup (delicious) and the chickpea curry (comforting, and the long cosmos that came with it. With a beautiful view & exceptional service I couldn’t recommend more.

Love this place and i come every so often! The food is unaparallelled and the atmospehre - stunning! Last time, i had amazing sevice from the waitress Berzune. The receptionist Greta was the friendliest person and really went above and beyond to make our lunch at Girdon Ramsey the best experience! Massive thanks to both and compliments to the chef!

Everything was great, the chicken Wings was seasoned great alongside a dry aged beef and a molten lava cake as desert. Everything was amazing and would definitely have been a daily visit if it was not for the price which is pretty good for what you get.

A cozy restaurant set on the banks of the Thames with a beautiful view. The food was amazing especially the spicy tuna tartare !! Steak was not as good because it was well done, our mistake when we ordered. The chips were yummy though. The fried cod bites were delicious too.

I always watched Gordon Ramsey's shows so I wanted to see and taste his food, and have to say it was a good choice for Sunday lunch. Can't say brilliant but really good. And loved the view too.

We had Sunday roast today and the service from Ellyes was friendly and he made us feel welcome. If you can, choose a round booth with a fabulous view of the river. The chicken, cabbage & carrots were our favourite. And save room for a brownie & caramel ice cream :)

Me and my husband booked Bread Street Kitchen for new years eve and were very excited! The location is lovely and it has a very cozy atmosphere. When we arrived we asked if we could sit on the terrace and the server kindly said she would check if there was space. In the meantime we took a seat at the bar to get a drink. We sat there for between 5 - 7 minutes and there was only one bartender working (odd for new years eve). He did not ask what we would like to drink until our server came to take us to our table. We managed to order 2 pints and were told these would be delivered to our table. After we sat down our server came up to us after a few minutes and asked what we would like to drink. We mentioned we had already ordered at the bar but our drinks had not arrived yet. Her response was to say it was a busy night. I don't think this is acceptable on new years when it is clearly due to a failure to plan properly. 2 pints should not take 10 minutes to recieve. We then ordered a bottle of wine but our food arrived before the wine and we had to mention it a second time to our server before it arrived. The women's toilet also completely ran out of toilet paper and I had to go to a server and ask for toilet paper. I was then handed a roll and took it to the toilet myself. The food was fine, but when you charge nearly £30 for a burger I expect the service to be better. It was also new years eve and it didn't seem like any additional effort had been made. Would not return.

Incredibly average food for the price. 20% service charge and then they ask for another 20% as a tip on top😂 comical. Tipping is for exceptional service not for average service

The setting was very pleasant. My son has coeliac disease and the menu did not state which dishes had gluten in. The waiter was not very knowledgeable and kept having to go off to discuss with chef! He had very limited choices, not even the fries, and it’s the first restaurant I’ve come across and the brownie contains gluten! Overall our food was okay but we won’t be returning. Expensive for what you get!

Not recommended: good location but loud; service slow; my dish of macaroni cheese tasteless and pretty inedible, others' dishes rated OK to fair; bill c.£40 per head too expensive for what we were served.

I came to this place with my family for a Christmas day and we liked it very much. The food was excellent and the hospitality of the staff as well. Special thanks to our waiter Jan who looked after us. My recommendation is their beef wellington!

UPDATE: I came here on Christmas day 2024 and was served by the nicest and sweetest waitress named Greta, props to her for making our Christmas special! Cheers! - I've been at the previous restaurant, the Narrow, plenty of times yet I am LOVING this revamp! The menu is very similar, delicious British food, and there's a great atmosphere. The outside terrace seems much more insulated and it looks all new and beautiful. The service was efficient and both the receptionist and the waiters have been very warm and welcoming. I am hoping these standards will be kept up, because if so I am coming back again and again! Well done Ramsay and team!

We loved it. We had Greta as our waitress and she was just incredible. She made our whole experience so enjoyable and memorable and served us the amazing food on the Christmas menu. Thank you Greta (she deserves a raise)!!

The food tasted good but the portion size of my main course which was turkey with all the trimmings was very disappointing.

Our server, Luke was absolutely wonderful. He was very attentive and took care of everything we asked for. I fully enjoyed every aspect of the dining experience. The sticky toffee pudding was particularly delicious.

Luke is a God among men. I hope that as medical technology improves that he is able to live forever and continue to make the world a wonderful place to live. My expectations might be a little high, but I'd be satisfied if he got paid a lot more money

Ramsey’s Kitchen Nightmare - went to the Limehouse restaurant for our compact Christmas party on Friday afternoon. Seemed to us like that had ran out of the steam from the day before and didn’t seem interested in looking after us. Poor wine selection with desired options not available. The ones that were available had low stock. One of our party is coeliac but when asked for a gluten free menu this wasn’t available. Instead the server ‘well you can have this without this’ etc etc. Not good enough. We ordered two steaks that were served to the wrong people. Sides that came out late and generally the wait staff did not seem interested in the slightest. To top it off at the end of the evening we asked for 8 Baby Guinness to only be told that they had run out of Kahlua. Really not a good experience for a restaurant carrying such a good reputation and name.

This restaurant boasts a fantastic location, amazing food bursting with flavor, fair prices, and a welcoming, attentive staff. Truly a dining experience to remember!

Went for a dinner and drinks with my husband. I was really happy to find a vegan option, the burger was outstanding. It was our first time at one of Ramseys places and we were pleasantly surprised. The staff was really nice as well. We have been taken care of by Jan, so special thanks to him, everything was perfect. Will come back, when in London

The location is great, some of the food was good but overall super underwhelming. I had the famous Ramsay Beef Wellington and found it quite bland (not sure if they even wrapped it in prosciutto/parma ham, but it could just be their recipe). I found that the calamari was pretty soggy despite being one of my favourite starters. The scotch egg and desserts were good (had the brownie and sticky toffee pudding) so no complaints there. It ending up costing just under £180 for two of us for 2 starters, shared main for 2 and 2 desserts, no alcohol. This was the cost after I noticed that I was accidentally charged an extra £10 for the beef wellington (initially charged £120). Our bill also included a 15% gratuity, which I thought was a bit outrageous as we're not Yanks. Even though it's "optional" it's not really in good faith to not pay it. Anyways, I don't think that I'd go back and honestly wouldn't really recommend going there for dinner and getting the beef wellington. Staff were friendly enough though. I think a fair price to have paid for my evening would have been about £100-£110 in complete honesty.

Very unsatisfactory- it appeared to be chaos when we arrive- we waited for 10 minutes for someone to take us to a table then left and when to The Grapes pub which was warm, cheery and with a better river view

First time being at this restaurant. The food was absolutely amazing and the service was excellent. Thank you Daniel!

The place was not full but the service took a very long time despite this. My companion thought the waiter smelled strongly of sweat. The meat was served without being asked about side dishes, so no sauce or vegetables, just a steak and fries. The fried "salt and pepper squid" was not crispy and hot but dry and lukewarm. Fish and chips were without salt, but salt was only brought by the waiter when it was almost ready. All in all, Ramsay should come here and try, it was way below the level you've come to know him for on TV at least.

Delicious fish and chips, though maybe 10% too expensive for what it was. Service was great and friendly. Music was god-awful: loud reggae versions of ‘Deck the Halls’. I know Christmas is looming, but the vibe was off.

I went there I think 4 days ago or so, with my family and as usual we loved it, the food is always good, and the service was amazing! Food was delicious, service a little slow though

We just ate at Bread Street Kitchen & Bar Limestone during our London trip after a Sorted Food YouTube video recommandation. The meat was a bit overcooked so the staff happily and rapidly made one anew, which was personally brought by the chef with their apologies and attentions. Apart from this little misfortune, the starters and mains were excellent, quickly served and beautifully warm which was really enjoyable. Thanks again to the staff and especially Jan/Ian (apologies for the spelling) for his kindness, good service and French expressions. Really good address to taste typical English dishes.

Totally over rated, burger was dry and tasteless. No ice bucket for our Prosecco had to ask twice, one of the glasses had a chip. Dessert was lovely but it was just a brownie nothing special. Expected so much more very disappointed .

Looking for a place for dinner late on a Sunday evening and this place popped up. No idea it was a Gordon Ramsay restaurant until we walked up. I ordered the Tangerine Spice Berry Soda and the Courgette and Basil Pasta and was very happy with both. The only sad part of my meal was when I finished plate. Leaving with a full stomach and a happy heart.

I went for a nice dinner with my boyfriend and the night was beyond incredible. The food was amazing, but what really stood out was the impeccable customer service. We were greeted by Greta who was very warm and inviting as soon as walked through the door. As for the food, we were looked after by Saad who had some incredible food and cocktail recommendations. The pesto lasagne was a dream. It was my first night around the Limehouse canals and the conversations with Greta and Saad really made our night fantastic. They were so friendly, made us laugh, and we had an amazing time and our best date yet. Thank you sooo so much to the wonderful staff for a sublime evening. What a night. The food, cocktails, atmosphere, everything were perfect and I cant wait to go back!

Cannot recommend this restaurant enough! I visited with my partner after eyeing up the place for a while and have to say - it was amazing. Food was top notch, the GFC burger was so tasty and a generous portion too. Cocktails were also sublime. And THE SERVICE. Honestly, possibly the best service I’ve ever had - staff were incredibly friendly and you can just tell they love what they do. Big shout out to Ellyes especially who provided our table with outstanding and friendly service that I’ll remember for a very long time. If you’re on the fence about trying this place - DO IT. I’ll definitely be back. 😁

We just dropped in for a couple of drinks and sat in the bar area which was pretty empty. There were a few tables occupied with diners in the restaurant. Drinks were a little expensive, service was very good and the atmosphere was nice.

I and my fiancé came for dinner last night around 8:30pm on Friday 18/10/24 to celebrate our engagement. I ordered roast cod cost over £20+ and it’s was disgusting salty, very disappointed because I was very hungry and I expected Gordon Ramsay restaurant would have professional chef to cook much better than myself, I told the manager there and she came back and told us they tried it and agreed it’s was very salty and only took £8+ off our bill when the roast cid dish was £20+ and ruin our night. 2ndly: me and my fiancé are not happy with the new waiter because when my fiancé finish his red wine and waiter asked if he want another and is the wine taste nice? My fiancé replied “wine taste nice but I don’t want to order another.” And then the waiter replied “that’s mean the wind not nice?” This comment made my fiancé shockingly stunt of disgusted because he has never have this rubbish comment from a waiter before. Then the same new waiter came and asked us if we want hot drinks after our dessert? I replied that the manager already came to take our order for hot drink and it’s not come yet. And the waiter replied “yeah I can see that!” I find that’s very rude comment and he need more training before come out to serve customers. He asked us and we just replied the update and he replied rudely like that. Seriously the food and the service really disappointed us, for us to chose special to our engagement. Not great night and ruin our celebration.

The restaurant offers fantastic river views and a pleasant atmosphere, though it can be quite noisy due to the glass walls and ceiling, which amplify the sound of 50 conversations at once. Some carpeting would significantly improve the acoustics. The service was adequate, but the food was rather mediocre.

We had such a lovely time. Our server was Ellyes and he took very good care of us. Thanks to him we felt comfortable and very welcomed. We ordered the gorden ramsey fish and chips and the bread street kitchen burger. These dishes were delicious. The cocktails were also made on point. The location is really beautiful with a view of the themse. We will absolutely come back

Lovely light meal with cod pieces and Caesar salad. Well priced

Came here for a pre-show meal (Gipsy Kings at The Troxy). Steak cooked to perfection, daughter found the naan with her curry too oily. In terms of service, we had a bi-polar experience. Initial service was slow, waited to order and food took a long time to come. Due to a busy lunchtime service, there were no roasts available, but nobody thought to tell us until the point of ordering. When it came to desserts, we were served by Greta who was a stand-out star and displayed gold standard customer service skills. Again some items we had ordered were 'off', we were comped our desserts with no quibble. All in all, a good experience that could have been great had the serving team shown better cohesion. One of the other ladies serving had quite a haughty and dismissive demeanour. The wonderful Greta made a substantial regain and made us feel welcome and we left happy customers.

Lovely restaurant, great service from staff and the food was fabulous, incredibly tasty and a great selection of food to choose from. They are also super lovely to toddlers and children, with kids eat free and we had our 18 month old with us and they were great with her which was a lovely relief.

We had high expectations for Gordon Ramsay’s Bread Street Kitchen and Bar, being fans of both Ramsay and *Kitchen Nightmares*. Given his expertise on TV, we expected a top-notch experience. Unfortunately, it didn’t live up to the hype. The beef wellington, which we were excited to try, was just okay—nothing special. The presentation was very good. The Caesar salad with chicken was also underwhelming. Overall, a bit disappointing for such a highly regarded name..

A five star restaurant in a fantastic riverside Location. The food was amazingly delicious and service was great too.

Went we in and no one was there to greet/seat us, so waited around for someone to come out of the back. We went in early evening and the restaurant was empty when we arrived. We took our order, starters and mains. Our waiter was nice, but food service was VERY SLOW, an hour plus after we arrived, we still hadn’t received our mains (we ordered steak and chips and fish and chips). In the end we asked for them to be put in takeaway containers (pictures below of how it was packed). Food was ok, however not worth the money. Wouldn’t recommend.

Came for a Beef Wellington experience. Location is nice with the river view. Overpriced and mediocre quality food. Beef was over roasted on top and a bit tough to chew inside. Everything was simply not tasty. Waiters seem polite, but not really helpful and engaged.

Great atmosphere in the conservatory area, we went for dinner with a large group. The waiting staff were wonderful. However it is a true travesty that Gordon Ramsey thinks his name is enough to serve sub-standard bland, tiny portions of basic dishes. More power to the independent pubs of London with hearty, tasty grub. If you’re looking for tasty food, run far friends.

What a beautiful location and very reasonable prices for a GR restaurant .Service was great, we had the lovely Luisa. The poke bowl was yummy,my steak was a bit too fatty n chewy but was good.

My partner and I went here for dinner on Sunday and we were sadly disappointed. We were told that the Sunday Roast had ended a couple of hours prior and was no longer being served so we both ordered medium rare steak and wine. We then proceeded to both be served the wrong wine entirely followed by steaks that were medium the whole way through as well as so gristly and fatty that despite being one of my partners favourite dishes, he ended up having to leave a large proportion on his plate as he struggled to even get his knife through it. To make matters worse, we then saw two separate tables being served Sunday roasts shortly afterwards. After our meal it took quite a while for the bill to be brought out after it was requested despite not being very busy, and then we were asked to calculate the exact value of our percentage tip on the spot while the waitress stood there holding the card reader. I'm sure the rest of the menu is lovely as some of the other dishes did sound nice, but I would either avoid the steak or simply visit a proper steakhouse instead. And maybe don't ask for wine either, as it's not an insignificant amount to spend just to end up drinking the wrong thing.
