We hired a beautiful field on the Cornish cliffs with the most spectacular views. So lucky to have found such a hidden gem for our perfect wedding venue. Absolutely wonderful owners and extremely helpful. Could not have had a better day! Thankyou so much for allowing us to use your stunning wedding field. It was one to remember! X

We returned to stay at Bre-pan with Jill and Rod after a 10 year gap and were not disappointed, Comfortable room and the breakfasts, what can we say, they are lovely and we base all breakfasts we have on the one here, as it is in our opinion "The best" Thank you for a lovely stay, we will be back to see you again, but will not leave it as long next time. One of Cornwalls gems

Very comfortable, & reasonably priced B&B set in a very desirable position on the cliff top with spectacular views from the conservatory., which is an extension of the lounge. Excellent quality cooked breakfast, cooked to your liking. Gill & Rod are very friendly hard working hosts who go out of their way to make your stay as pleasant as possible. They are experts, having many years of experience! The high standard is maintained throughout. Just one little negative, would have liked a bigger shelf in the en-suite bathroom. Otherwise, it has our full recommendation!! Please go & try it. You will not be disappointed!!

A wonderful B&B, so relaxing with spectacular views of the Cornush Coast. Close to the local pubs and fish n chip shop. Morgan Porth Beach is just down the road. The breakfast is a " Proper Job" and will keep your engine running all day! We had a wonderful stay and will definitely visit again.

Nos encanta este ligeramente pasada de moda y se puede donde te dan una cálida bienvenida y desayuno genial. Vistas preciosas y una ubicación para Mawgan Porth y playas y la bahía de Watergate sendero costero. Aparcamiento.

Just exploring the coast road and took a chance on this tea room/cafe. What a pleasant surprise. I had an egg mayo sandwich and the wife had a ploughman's lunch both of with were freshly prepared, the egg mayo was still warm, and lovely. We will call in again when we're out that way.

We live locally in Newquay and have stopped here on the odd occasion for a cream tea or slice of homemade cake, because the coffee is good and cakes are delicious (especially the huge wedges of Bakewell tart) Staff always polite and helpful. You can browse the produce for sale while you are waiting. Only one small criticism..more jam, little less cream with the cream tea x

A sudden bout of rain meant we quickly jumped into the car and as my wife said, 'we could really do with a tea room' this place turned up on our right. Friendly, quaint little place which felt very welcoming. We had a ploughmans with some very nice mixed cheeses and scones. Ended up buying a load of fruit and veg from the shop as well as a lovely homemade quiche which we enjoyed in the evening. Our little boys loved it when we entered to find a couple of hens had trespassed into the shop then loitered outside.

Stopped off here for lunch and sat outside as we had our dog with us. The staff were very friendly and brought out fresh water for our dog. The food was delicious and we even bought the salad dressing from the farm shop as it was so lovely. There was a mistake with my order but the waitress was very apologetic and my replacement followed soon after. Highly recommended.

Cream teas at Bre-Pen Farm are consistently delicious! It is a 'must do' when on holiday with our family in North Cornwall. Home made scones, clotted cream, home made jam and generous pots of tea. Excellent friendly service - but watch out for the hens if you eat outside! An added bonus is the range of local produce that you can buy in the farm shop. You can also access Bre-Pen from the coastal path between Watergate Bay and Mawgan Porth.

My 18 year old daughter and myself escaped to Cornwall to visit several National Trust properties so where better to stay than a working farm leased from the NT by our wonderful hosts Jill and Rod. Their home is friendly and welcoming. You feel relaxed straight away. The rooms and bathroom are spotless and provide all the comfort you need. You hear the sheep bleeting ( we even saw them being sheared) and chickens roam free. Breakfast was all that you could hope for and more from cereal and fruit to a full cooked Cornish breakfast with mushrooms picked that morning from the field! They also have a farm shop and tea rooms which we also sampled and lived upto expectations. We will definitely be returning, excellent value, thank you Jill and Rod.

The most beautiful place for a wedding. Wonderful views. The farmer was most thelpful in arranging the venue which was his field on a clifftop overlooking the beach and sea

Had a really great time there. Scones were hot from the oven, jam was so nice, bought two to take back to London. Even placed an order to collect fresh scones tomorrow and clotted cream. If you visiting Cornwall, please make sure you pop in here. Excellent service. Hope this review helps.

We always try to shop with local businesses when we visit Cornwall each year but will not be returning to Bre Pen as we have arrived several times (not always easy in a Motorhome) to find them closed. The final straw was when we arrived for afternoon tea only to be told the tearoom had closed at 4pm (it was only 3.45). The advertised time is 4.30pm.

Staying in Mawgan Porth means a trip to Bre Pen farm. It never disapoints and now serves simple breakfast which was a surprise as not on their web site. The bacon and eggs on toast is hearty as is the addition of tomatoes and mushrooms. The food is taken directly from the farm shop and cooked to order. Home made sausage rolls, pasties, cakes and fresh bread and eggs are always available. Afternoon tea served until 3 pm and does the occasional Thai banquet. If you can't find what you need in Mawgan Porth then try Bre Pen Farm.

This little farm shop and cafe is just perfect, it sells heaps of homemade goodies including the best lemon drizzle cake and cookies. The eggs are always fresh and the hens here are the largest I have ever seen. They also have a huge choice of homemade take away thai dishes, which are delicious. We have visited this farm shop whilst on holiday for the last four years, could not imagine a trip to the west country without popping in.

Called on the off chance on a cold wet day looking for some good home cooked cake to cheer us up. We weren't disappointed. Delicious scones and an enormous slice of cake were consumed with glee and gusto and nothing much was needed for the rest of the day. Deeeelicious!,

This has a lovely little coffee shop and small shop serving great bread, pies pasties and homemade sausage rolls which are the best I have tasted. The eggs are really fresh as you step over the chickens as you enter the shop!My wife always asks to stop here as she loves the fresh produce. Not open on Sundays always.Don't try walking here via the coast path as it's a lot further than going straight up the hill, however steep it is.

We came here as a group of 5 adults and 2 children for a snack and drink as we were passing . It was lovely. The food was basic but exactly as we expected it to be. The ladies working there were really lovely. Will return when we pass next.

I visited here last month after walking my dog. The slices of home made cake were very reasonably priced and large slices too. We sat outside as it was a lovely afternoon but there is indoor seating also. Inside they sell all sorts of produce from their farm.

Such a shame that this restaurant just isn’t as good as it used to be. The waitress was lovely, but the food was not up to scratch. One main arrived cold and another was inferior. It was a special occasion and we were left disappointed.

When holidaying in Cornwall the bush pepper should be a top tier priority your list. There are many things to enjoy on the menu but in my opinion you must always try something new. For example their kangaro was such a unusual but delicious dish. It doesn't have that gamey beefy iron taste to it, so you really can season it however you like. The menu said it was Cajun but I felt it lacked that spicy element. The port and red wine reduction was lovely. And the sweet potato wedges really complimented the kangaroo. My wings were fall apart melt in your mouth. However, it said it was BBQ flavour I think it needed a bit more of a smokey depth to it. The sauce felt a little confused. But still delicious. The people who served us were a delight Jasmine and Sian. Two sweet & Stella servers who make all the correct check backs at the appointed time. They had great banter. They really did look after us. Check backs really mean alot to me as a customer and you can always tell if they are genuine. The portion sizes as you can see are spot on. Just an all round amazing time. The owner must be proud.

Fabulous vegetarian restaurant. Even my hubby who eats meat was a bit reticent about coming here… however he loved the food and revisited with me. Lovely menu, food is delicious and service is good .
