Told we could not order a starter first then the rest of our meal because we would be there too long. Tables to our left and right were able to order appetizers then main dishes. Staff hovered and swept our plates etc as soon as we finished. Hurtful to be treated so badly when we were just trying to expand our culinary horizons. Won't be back and most likely not try other Lebanese establishment after such a bad experience. Very disappointed and our food was mediocre.

Godt utvalg. Herlig Hummus med pinjekjerner. Nydelig også med lam. Deilig finhakket, spicy salat. Tabolen er uklanderlig. Og grillet vaktel smaker veldig godt. Servicenivå var svært godt ved våre to besøk.

Do not go here. They are in the restaurant industry?? What a joke. I didn't want to go here initially with all the bad reviews but we did and walked out. We were seated when we got there and after 10 minutes we had to ask for menus . No one acknowledged us. The waitresses just walked by and didn't ask if we were taken care of. By the time we ordered we were so put off that we decided to cancel our order. If you are use to American customer service do not go here. They don't give a dam about customer service. We went next door to eat which they were bending over backwards to make sure we were happy

During a recent walk in the Mayfair area of London, we stopped for lunch at this wonderful small Brasserie spot near the Mother Restaurant Al Hamra. The Arabic food, especially the falafel, is some of the best we have ever had (including in the middle east). GREAT food and VERY reasonable prices, especially for London in the Mayfair district.

Вкусно, особенно для тех, кто любит восточную кухню. Неплохое обслуживание и достойное меню. Атмосфера в ресторане приятная. Это то место, куда можно прийти с друзьями.

Very friendly waiting staff, lovely fresh vegetables to nibble on the table, and great food. The grilled meats are among the best in London. I don't know why this place isn't constantly full. Lovely outside tables in the summer. Maybe it is the pricing -- the bill can easily creep up, maybe this needs a re-think -- a fixed price set menu maybe, giving a great taste of what they can do? If you go in a big party, the bills tend (per head) to be much smaller. Maybe when I go with a friend we just over-order.... Wine list is reasonable -- perhaps weak in the white wines? And a better house champagne would go very well with their food?

The most annoying thing about the restaurant is the staff. They are indifferent. The waitress kept on pushing us to hurry with ordering, saying she is expecting a large group and would like to attend to them. But, we did not see anyone come in for more than one and half hour. The food was same as any other Arabic restaurant. My guests were quite annoyed at the staff for not caring enough to explain the dishes. She kept on saying there is explanation, pl read it. What they wanted to know, was the food grilled or dry etc. I don't she knew any of the dishes except the names. Not sure if I'll come back as there is lots of choice of Arabic restaurants in the area.

Fabulous catch up with friends sitting outside in the narrow st of Shepherds Market . The food was lovely and service very attentive. A gem of a restaurant in a diamond enclave of london.

At the suggestion of one of our party of four (plus baby) who had recently been to Aubaine in Selfridges we went to this Hampstead restaurant for breakfast on a cold but clear Saturday morning in early October. After having walked from Euston station into Hampstead we were ready for a good breakfast. Walked in off the street not having made a reservation where we were seated downstairs directly under the stairs (we had a child & buggy) and after looking at the menu and wishing we’d gone next door to Cote Brasserie we gave our orders to the waitress. Scrambled egg and salmon £8.00 (came with 1 piece of cold rock hard toasted bread with no butter or spread offered-maybe that’s the French way? two cherry tomatoes and curly kale), pot of tea £2.95, 2x formule sante £12.00 each (poached egg with avocado on seeded toast) one with fresh orange juice, one with a pot of tea, one pain au raisin £2.50 and one bottle of evian water (750ml) £4.00. We asked that one of the poached eggs be well done and when the food arrived the waitress said she couldn’t remember which was which but she could go back to the kitchen and ask but we declined this offer thinking we’d soon learn ourselves, well we did as they were both well done with one being more well done than the other making it more hard boiled than poached and did I mention my rock hard toast? All looked good (see my photo’s) and to be fair the scrambled egg , salmon and curly kale were fine but the rest was a poor do. Tea was nice as was the orange juice but you can‘t really mess that up. The total bill was £41.45 plus the norm (for Hampstead at any rate) service charge of 12.5% adding another £5.18 giving us a grand total of £46.63 for what was essentially three plates of egg, a bun and a couple of drinks. I had been thinking of trying this place for lunch or dinner but this experience of breakfast has put me off. I'm being generous with my overall rating of a three because it really falls between two and three.
