Really good food, served by wonderful staff in beautiful surroundings

5 of us went for dinner. All food came out within 15-20 mins and all together. Nobody could fault any part of their dinner. 5 completely empty plates, everything was utterly delicious. 5 desserts then ordered and again couldn’t fault any of it. One of the best meals we’ve had out in a long time.

Always feel welcome, smiling staff, very good, elaborated dishes... Warmly recommend!

Underwhelming. Cheese burger had no cheese. Chicken burger requested without tomato and gherkin meant none of the other toppings were included. No staff visible to even raise that with. 2 mains, one child meal, and three drinks - only one alcoholic - for £58. I wouldn't come back.

Have never been disappointed with the food, the service or the atmosphere. The visit on 31st May was no exception. Freya and Katie looked after us really well and the food from Marius was excellent. 3 courses and clean plates all round. Love this place.

We loved this! It was bottomless drinks and a great meal, such good value and fun - Katy our waitress was amazing and brought such good vibes, we will defiantly be back!!

The outdoor seating area is not being taken care of , bird poo on the tall tables and it's not difficult to level the other tables , cobwebs on the buildings and it would hurt the bar staff to smile , I guess thats management these days tho.

Food was ok, but our waitress Eleanor was very attentive and delivered everything promptly to us.

Great service from Leah ,Hugo ,Lauren very helpful for all are needs .. Also with me being gluten free all great food hats off to the chef cristi no issues what so ever 5 star all round

The Sunday roast was not what I expected from the Brampton Mill, the greens on the side were dry and the beef was tough. The positives, love the place, the roast vegetables tasted lovely and when I mentioned the quality of the beef they brought me different cuts that were far better, cannot ask for better service. It is not how you start but how it ends. Left with a smile. Will be back. Our servers were Katie and Ewelina and chef Cristi and Ana.

I was taken to the Brampton Mill for a birthday treat. Good drinks and fabulous food. Such a wide choice from the menu for everyone. Awesome 3 courses, drinks, and coffees.

Lovely place ! I came from London for a friends birthday - we have a bottomless brunch - beautifully picturesque pub with a surrounding lake and original features such as water will - ample seating inside and out - couldn’t say in beer selections as we had cocktails but the section looked extensive at the bar. Food was lovely and I had mocktails - also lovely. Special shout out the service team who were so attentive to my seed allergy and made special arrangements for my meal. All food reasonably priced and would deffo come again!

It was a great idea for a first date. Definitely won me some points ;). Food was great, a bit too cold to sit outside, but I'm sure it's incredible when possible. No doubt I'll be returning, maybe for our anniversary in a years time. 🤞 If not before then.

Visited with another couple on a Sunday evening. Pleasant atmosphere, friendly service and good food. Highly recommended and would like to visit again. Has outdoor seating but didn’t use as a little chilly. Still retains the waterwheel.

Came for Sunday roast and it was delicious. Couldn’t fault anything and will definitely be returning. One of the best roasts in the area! Served by the lovely Harriet, couldn’t recommend more!

I have started meeting my sister at this pub as it's half way between our home addresses (Norfolk/West Mids). We "hand over" our mother who is suffering from Dementia. This is a gem hidden away near the river where the food is delicious and Leah is such a lovely waitress. She always has a smile, is courteous and efficient and nothing is too much for her. Very rarely (if ever) do we get to have a small portion for my mum (in fact I was recently admonished in Asda for buying a child's portion for her) but at the Mill we were able to have a dessert (cheese and biscuits) for her main and a dessert for her dessert too! We had 2 super salads, one with beef (one of the pieces of beef was a bit gristly but the rest was tender and delicious) and bangers and mash. Sadly a couple of the staff weren't quite so happy but the young man behind the bar was very friendly and even reserved a table inside in case our table outside was too cold. They have blankets and cushions for the outside seating area too. We will definitely be back next time. We used to go to the Old Bridge but they started adding a 20% service charge to a table of 4, so very grateful for this place which is very reasonably priced. Thanks to the chefs, Charlie, Anna and Nathan.

A lovely find on the edge of Huntingdon town centre. The food was fab, couldn't fault it. Leah, our waitress , was so professional, friendly, helpful and welcoming . We had the cod and chorizo fish cakes, one with fries, the other salad...yummy! The cocktails were good too ! I wish we lived nearer so we could call more often. Roll on next year's holidays.

Lovely food, attentive service without being smothering and a a very pleasant setting. Our severs were Leah and Chris who were great and our chef was Charlie... My partner ordered the duo of pork and scallops and he was very impressed with the pork belly in particular. We opted not to have a starter to allow for dessert and again we were not disappointed. We would both recommend he trio of mini desserts, something of an indulgence but delicious.

Lovely venue and food. Took my wife out for her birthday and they really made her feel special, and accommodated our request to sit next to the window. Leah was a brilliant server, very smiley, attentive and helpful.

We haven’t been here for a couple of years but we’re so glad we came back! Freya and Leah in particular were brilliant servers and my fillet steak was cooked to perfection!

9 for bottomless brunch as long as we drunk up they replaced the drinks as promised. To add to that the food was excellent great staff really friendly. We will be back, whether they want us is another matter🤣

We've been here a few times.. some just for a coffee and a cake. For a birthday, anniversary meal or just a get-together with family. We have been in party of 2 to 8 people depending. Always had good service. Food has always been great, never been served cold. I will alway recommend it and have done.

Nice place to have drinks, would be nice in the summer months. Service was a let down, however, unwelcoming staff.

Went there during the weekend to grab some Sunday lunch. Ordered the chicken and beef roasts, the beef was quite tough to chew on, and the billionaire fries had a strong taste of horse-radish, which some people may dislike so just putting it out there as it's not started on the menu. They had bottomless gravy which was great.

Service (Hugo and Freya) excellent, great atmosphere but lack of vegan options a downside. FFS why!

As newcomers to the area, we decided to visit The Brampton Mill for the first time on my husband’s birthday. We were DELIGHTED by the rustic, waterside setting, and the well-appointed dining room, and attentive and friendly service. But the food blew us away. This is so much more than a “gastropub.” Our server Evelina ensured we were taken care of throughout the meal, including extra diligence to accommodate food allergies in the group. And Chef Charlie delivered starters, mains, and desserts that pleased the adults, the 8 year old, and the baby in our party! Thank you for making our first birthday dinner as new UK residents one we will never forget! We can’t wait to come back and dine again.

Very nice restaurant, relaxed atmosphere and staff very friendly and professional. Food was delicious and well presented. Will return at a later date for sure as every plate that was coming out to the tables looked amazing. Well done to Caitlin, Leah, Hugo and I believe Chef Charlie.

Callum was friendly and found ways to connect with the customers, whilst giving excellent service. Customer says “he’s a nice lad” the food with spectacular.

*Edit: Changed my review to 5 stars as halloumi fries are back! 😍 I'm giving them 4 stars because they removed halloumi fries from the menu 😥 If they add halloumi fries back it'll be 5 stars! The building is beautiful and the food is fantastic!

We were greeted and attended to all evening by Annie & Harriet who were both pleasant and very efficient. It was either Annie or Harriet that showed my daughter and het 17 month old son, all the way from the upper floor dining area to the baby change toilet at the far end of the ground floor. Thank you! Charlie was our chef and I must say the food was scrumptious! All in all a gorgeous evening ✨️

Excellent experience! Very well looked after by Katie & Vic - couldn't do enough. Birthday celebration for my daughter, didn't mention it to staff, but had put a small note on booking. I'd forgotten about it, but they came in at the end of the meal with a lovely 'sweet plate', lit candle and sang Happy Birthday - nice touch. Furthermore, the food was excellent - couldn't be faulted!

I have given a 10/10 review before BUT Beware!!! They must have different chef's the food the second visit was absolute Rubbish ,They call this crab thermador open sandwich,,a slice very small thin cut bread some cheese melted on top and 0.10p chips Not even a raddish wouldn't cover third of the plate, worst £13.95 I've ever spent.my complaint is if you haven't got anyone who can cook close it down . Outright robbery . Try yourself make up your own mind you've been warned.

We decided to book the Brampton Mill for a family lunch, my wife booked online which was super easy and we had quick confirmation back, a very warm welcome as we arrived and shown to our table. The interior and exterior is superb and quaint and tastefully decorated. Throughout the meal we were served by Callum, he was a credit to hospitality and the restaurant, really attentive positive and obviously understood all of the menu and the food being served. The meal we then went onto receive was superb and we are informed this was down to Chef Lee, the entire experience from booking to leaving was fantastic and we cannot recommend enough

Had a lovely lunch here Thursday last week. The food was delicious, everything was fresh and hot. All the staff were very friendly and welcoming, especially Harriet behind the bar who was extremely helpful, offering great suggestions and information on the food menu and drinks selection.

Came in yesterday, service was amazing and the staff very polite and respectful especially one young man named Callum. Would highly recommend this place, it’s very calm and peaceful and felt that I could discuss any issues with staff with no problems!

I was bored on the weekend and didn’t know what to do so decided to have a trip to The Brampton Mill and let’s say it was a brilliant decision. Where do i start, i arrived in the car park and the spot i parked in was lovely it had enough room to open the door without hitting anything 🥹 the walk to the door was beautiful and the scenery was gorgeous, then the greeting i had at the main door was second to none. I got seated at my table and ordered a roast which can i say was the best thing that has ever been in my mouth 🤤 The young lady that helped me was such a darling i think her name was Kate BUT the best part of my trip was the young man Callum he was SO helpful and a delight talking to and oh such a good looking fella. He was walking around in his black trousers which made him look so 😮‍💨😮‍💨😮‍💨 so because of him i will be returning for another exceptional meal and leaving with his number 😉😂 I’d rate my experience 10/10.

Had a lovely time with my girlfriend. It was our first time trying it and food was excellent and so was the service. We had Callum who served us and he was such a nice young man. Highly recommend to everyone!

Disappointed with our visit to the Mill which always used to be a ‘nice’ place to eat. We used to come regularly pre-2020. Doesn’t cater for tables for 2. We were initially seated in a spare corner (despite booking weeks ago), that we could barely fit into - one side crammed against the wall and the other sticking out into the main walkway, with speaker right above us which was very loud. The table was incredibly wobbly. We asked to move and despite lots of empty tables were told there was only one we were allowed to sit at, which again was in a walkway. They seem to only want 4+ people. I did see one man sat alone at a table for 4! The lady seating us was uncaring and seemed like she’d rather we weren’t there, same with the lady that bought our mains out. The food was reasonable enough but over priced. £100 for a meal for two with no alcohol, no starters, no sides, when you don’t even have a decent table isn’t good enough these days. We won’t return and will stick to the old bridge for a nicer experience. The one shining light was our server, Callum. He was excellent, friendly, attentive and all round charming - thank you Callum.

I came into the Brampton mill a little down tbf I wasn’t having the greatest day but as soon as I was greeted by Callum it made my day 10 times better. He was the perfect mix of professional and friendly, made me feel like I was right at home, some real cracking jokes from that boy! And his food recommendations were perfect. I will definitely be back! The food was delicious and the pub/restaurant is beautiful, not to mention the the stunning walks around the property. This was a 10/10 for me and I recommend to all.

A place with such a welcoming atmosphere, whether that be the garden by the river in the sunshine, or cosy inside in the winter. The varying seasonal menus, and terrific service, I could not recommend more. We were previously served by Callum who was not only attentive, but friendly and adaptable. Great food, great atmosphere and great price.
