Nice food and very friendly staff. Could just do with a bigger menu. But what we had was lovely and well prepared.

Went in for the first time. The service was absolutely impeccable you could tell there’s a lot of passion in what these guy’s do. We ordered an anchovy pizza potatoes and as the portion was a little smaller than usual as they had run out ( always a good sign that the food is fresh) they offered a dessert which blew my mind. Back to the pizza it was definitely the best I’ve had in a loooong time. The freshness of the ingredients was evident before being devoured as it was visually looked amazing simple ingredients cooked with panache. Well done guys you deserve all the accolade you’re getting. Keep up the amazing work!!

I went with afternoon tea with my best friend and it was the best afternoon tea we have ever had. The service was attentive but not too overbearing. The tea was amazing, just the right amount, Instead of sandwiches, it was Italian inspired, Antipasti on bottom tear with their own bread and oil. the most amazing chocolate pot with a liquor, Finished with a cakes and a cannoli. Tea came in a lovely pot. Thank you to all the staff for the on site made treats All fresh and tasty

I ordered the seafood risotto. Risotto of whatever type is supposed to be creamy, luxurious and comforting, with rice grains cooked 'just so'. What arrived was a pile of overcooked rice sitting in a thin broth - with no apparent attempt to integrate the stock with the starchiness of the rice to achieve the desired creamy consistency. The entire dish (including the bowl and the pieces of seafood) was super-hot, so either it had been in a microwave (denied by the server) or in the oven (possibly where things went wrong). I really wish I'd taken a photo... At least there were no arguments from the server when I sent the dish back. The antipasti were nice, but that can hardly be credited to the chef - presumably all bought in, with the possible exception of the bread. We won't be going back.

This was an impromptu walk in visit following a boat trip. The food was lovely and was cooked really quickly and pizza was very tasty and enormous. Risotto was lovely too with lots of seafood. We were really happy with the service too and would definitely recommend to anyone wanting a pleasant authentic Italian dining experience.

Fantastico! High quality italian dining. Everything made to order here and you can tell the difference! From the moment we entered to the time we left we felt like we were in Italy. Family owned italian. The best in the area by far!

Great family run restaurant. We're vegetarian, so I asked for food that was not shown on the menu and something from their lunchtime menu ... they were so accommodating. The tiamasu was to die for, as was everything we had. Special thanks to the amazing waitresses ... Mary and ilaria for their great service and the owner, Melinda, who all looked after us.

Perfect pizza and atmosphere! Definitely needs to be experienced!

Order a number of pizza's sides, salads and desserts, all pre paid. I was told by the person taking my order the time it would be ready. I arrived at this time and was confronted by what I can only describe as a very off hand and inconsiderate lady, I believe she was the owner. " It going to be at least 10 more minutes." I said but I was told it would be ready now. " Well it been very busy and we are rushed of our feet." Was the reply and she disappeared into the kitchen. Not an apology, an invite to take a seat nothing. I have no doubt the Pizzas are nice but the experience is quite frankly disscrasfull. If there is a next time I will pay when I collect it.

We were down in St Ives helping a relative with the recent passing of her husband, was my wife birthday was in the middle of this, so I wanted to give her a real treat to change the dynamic. She loves Italian and so we book in for a lunch time meal. The food was amazing and I know 100% she enjoyed her meal very much. The starters and main were good potions and the fact my wife could not have a desert is evidence alone. She never misses her desert. We had coffees and as a women, who appreciates good coffee she wanted to know the coffee brand and has now brought the coffee beans to have at home. We enjoy making our own pasta and when she saw we could buy flour, need I say we now have flour to take home. The attention to detail with regards the food is amazing, thank you for bringing joy to my wife on her birthday treat. Just as a side my pizza was amazing and so enjoyable it reminded me when I was recently in northern Italy. Highly recommend if quality of food is important!

Our son gave us gift vouchers for my birthday early this year, so we enjoyed a lively treat for dinner last night. To start we opted for single servings of both the 'meat and cheese' and 'calamari' boards, which was more than enough to share between the two of us. I followed up with rabbit ragu filled ravioli whilst my husband opted for the mixed seafood and shellfish linguine, and we shared a side salad. He even found room for a tiramisu dessert! All the food was fresh, perfectly cooked and delicious. To drink I enjoyed a peach Bellini followed by a fruity mocktail whilst my husband had two large glasses of red wine. The place was spotless and the staff all very friendly and helpful. We'll be back for sure!

Oh my! The most delicious Italian pasta I have ever tasted. Outstanding food. Everything fresh and delicious. Great service. Clean and smart decor. This is a treasure! Cannot wait to return.

Absolutely amazing! I booked the private dining room for a party of 22 people and we couldn’t be more impressed with the service, food and overall experience! Everything went so smoothly and they were so attentive from the minute I booked the room to the minute we left! We will definitely see you guys soon, thank you for making my birthday so special!! My partner and I have been to Di Rita’s on a handful of occasions. Our go to is normally the pasta dishes, specifically their meatballs and pasta, which is exceptional! However, on our latest occasion, we both took advantage of their pizza offer. The pizza was absolutely fantastic! Fresh, soughdough based pizza which tasted amazing. You cannot beat homemade authentic pizza. Probably the best pizza I have had in Cambridgeshire. The service and choice of wine is always brilliant too. We look forward to our next visit!

As a treat, my Mum & I came for a child free meal out. Wow, it had been a while, but the food was lovely. We enjoyed cannelloni, Luigi's risotto, hazelnut cheesecake & ice cream, tiramisu. Baileys latte to finish. We needed rolling out at the end of the meal!

A good Italian in the center of St Ives served by a charming lady. An old bank branch with a safe that houses wines that is well decorated, somewhat bland, but with high ceilings that give relief. The cuisine is good and respectful of Italian tradition. The pasta, thank goodness!, was to the point and the sauces were very successful. A sufficient wine list with some Spanish and Italian red wine and some other suggestions. Also some white options that we didn't try. If you're in the area and fancy some honest Italian food, it's worth a try.

The only thing in my opinion that loses DiRita's a 5star is the lighting and decor. I had hoped for more of a restaurant feel but the atmosphere was more of a cafe. There was a fridge by us with cold meats but were they for sale or display? The food, service and lovely exterior deserves better interior design. Delicious pizzas!!!!

Authentic Italian food and drink from Naples served by an Italian family. Everything imported from Naples to ensure the very best flavours of Italy. This means it is not a cheap dinner but I’d always rather pay for something special and the prices are competitive and fair. Lovely atmosphere and friendly attentive staff. Perfect evening

I went with a group of girls for my besties 50th birthday. The service was impeccable considering we were rather loud due to celebrations. I ordered a basil birthday cake for the event which was scrummy. I had a Diritas special pizza which has the classic Italian thin base made with sour dough and fresh wet mozzarella. We all had a limoncello spritzer cocktail which was very tasty.

My family and I are regular visitors to the Pizza/Pasta Restaurant in Di Rita's at No 2. May I firstly say that the service we receive everytime is exemplary and every request is tended to with dedication and politeness. Thank you very much to the team. The food - what can I say? I have never tasted anything so delicious in my life. The pizzas are to die for and there is nothing better than Di Rita's Spaghetti and Meatballs when you are craving some comfort food. Prices are in line with similar restaurants. You must not compare this restaurant to any chain restaurant - the quality of the ingredients is simply superior and authentically Italian. Trust me - you do not want to miss eating at this restaurant. We cannot wait for our next visit!

Amazing food, lovely venue and great service. You can eat in cheaper establishments, but you get what you pay for and if I'm eating out, then I want fantastic food and Di Rita's is a guarantee you'll get exactly that.

Food was tasty, service was good My only issue was paying £9.90 for a gin & tonic . Inflated the final bill to an amount which would stop me visiting again

Well food was ok starter was nice and then went down hill, was expecting more Italian dishes to be on the menu. Food in my opinion was well over priced for what you got. Sorry just had to be honest.

This is a place where you can spend some time at. You are made most welcome with a smile. You can sit next to the River Ouse and watch the boats and wildlife go by.

Finding yourself in this Fenland town on a damp Sunday evening is not a promising prospect as far as dinner is concerned. But finding this restarant open I ventured in. Long story made short. Delicious feshly cooked scallops, crème caramel, glass of house wine. The inner man satisfied and composure resorted. Thank you!

My wife & I stumbled across this restaurant whilst looking for somewhere to eat. Unfortunately, we won't be returning. The food is very overpriced, £15 for the thinnest Calamari sharing platter I have ever seen, 2 main meals, meatballs and spaghetti and a breaded chicken breast and spaghetti which were expensive and very mediocre. The best of it was being charged £13 for 2 x orange juice and lemonades! To top it off the 10% service charge was automatically added to the bill without our knowledge, something I believe should be at the customers discretion based on the service they receive and the quality of the food. My fault, I should've checked the bill a bit more thoroughly. Needless to say, we won't be returning.

Saturday evening meal for 4. Service was first class , very friendly and polite. Menus have great choice and the food was excellent quality. Drinks choice really extensive with some great gins/cocktails. Reasonably priced too.

5 of us went here on recommendation of my wife. Great looking building inside, good feel to the place. menu excellent, lots to choose from, we ate in the front pizza/pasta section not al la carte. Service was excellent from start to finish, and food superb. Def be back and look forward to the opening of their outside section. Highly recommend.

We visited the pizza & pasta restaurant for our anniversary and were absolutely overwhelmed with the great service and fabulous food. We went all out and had starters, mains & sides, finishing off with coffee and cakes. The restaurant itself is wonderfully decorated, the food is fresh and delicious and the people there were just lovely, we’ll definitely be back and highly recommend a trip here 💜

Lovely little restaurant hidden at the back. Small menu, which I like because it generally means they do it well. Beautifully served and well seasoned. We’ll definitely return again. The carpaccio and scallops were amazing and the halibut with samphire and chicken & prawn dishes were both lovely. Looking forward to trying the rest of the menu sometime 😋

Went there for Sunday lunch with friends. My friend told me, this was the best Italian restaurant in town. I quite liked the easygoing athmosphere, the kindness of the staff, the availability of different types of dishes. I got a pizza and it was really good must confess. All in all a pleasant experience. I also liked they had a selection of desserts, which you could take also home and a selection of Italian food products that you could buy.

We came as a family for afternoon tea, this is something that has only been introduced at Di Rita’s and wow it was amazing! The food that was given were a selection of different freshly made sandwiches (rolls were baked on site). Salmon & cream cheese, strong mature cheese and they made a beautiful vegetation Mediterranean vegetables. A selection of different cakes, scones, meringue, French fancies and even a chocolate shaped as a frog. We had to get some cakes boxed up to take home due to us being so full! Tom was our server and we couldn’t have been happier with his service. He was so attentive to our table, ensuring we were happy at all times, whether we wanted more tea etc. It was a pleasure to meet him! Thank you for such a lovely afternoon tea, it was perfect!

Nice location but doesn't live up to the hype. Drink orders seemed to be forgotten about and food took ages to come. One member of staff seemed to be doing everything. The pizza itself was average but I was flummoxed when a florentine pizza was topped with a sliced, hard-boiled egg as opposed to being cooked in the centre. Wouldn't return.

Visited this month for the 1st time after hearing so many good things. I personally don't see the hype. Only one member of staff was actually doing anything rest stood about doing nothing. Drink orders were forgotten about and had to chase to get them and even order them. My pizza wasn't great either.
