Di Rita's Italian Cuisine in Huntingdonshire

Absolutely amazing! I booked the private dining room for a party of 22 people and we couldn’t be more impressed with the service, food and overall experience! Everything went so smoothly and they were so attentive from the minute I booked the room to the minute we left! We will definitely see you guys soon, thank you for making my birthday so special!! Ps I am still dreaming about those meatballs!!

My partner and I have been to Di Rita’s on a handful of occasions. Our go to is normally the pasta dishes, specifically their meatballs and pasta, which is exceptional! However, on our latest occasion, we both took advantage of their pizza offer. The pizza was absolutely fantastic! Fresh, soughdough based pizza which tasted amazing. You cannot beat homemade authentic pizza. Probably the best pizza I have had in Cambridgeshire. The service and choice of wine is always brilliant too. We look forward to our next visit!

As a treat, my Mum & I came for a child free meal out. Wow, it had been a while, but the food was lovely. We enjoyed cannelloni, Luigi's risotto, hazelnut cheesecake & ice cream, tiramisu. Baileys latte to finish. We needed rolling out at the end of the meal!

Fantastic pizza!! Di Rita’s will 100% be our go to from now on for quality Italian cuisine.

Just been here for lunch in the deli with my daughter. Ordered from the main menu. First class food, comfortable surroundings, clean, fresh decor and great service. Loved going to Di Rita's when they were on Bridge St. Favourite italian by far.

A good Italian in the center of St Ives served by a charming lady. An old bank branch with a safe that houses wines that is well decorated, somewhat bland, but with high ceilings that give relief. The cuisine is good and respectful of Italian tradition. The pasta, thank goodness!, was to the point and the sauces were very successful. A sufficient wine list with some Spanish and Italian red wine and some other suggestions. Also some white options that we didn't try. If you're in the area and fancy some honest Italian food, it's worth a try.

The only thing in my opinion that loses DiRita's a 5star is the lighting and decor. I had hoped for more of a restaurant feel but the atmosphere was more of a cafe. There was a fridge by us with cold meats but were they for sale or display? The food, service and lovely exterior deserves better interior design. Delicious pizzas!!!!

Authentic Italian food and drink from Naples served by an Italian family. Everything imported from Naples to ensure the very best flavours of Italy. This means it is not a cheap dinner but I’d always rather pay for something special and the prices are competitive and fair. Lovely atmosphere and friendly attentive staff. Perfect evening

My family and I are regular visitors to the Pizza/Pasta Restaurant in Di Rita's at No 2. May I firstly say that the service we receive everytime is exemplary and every request is tended to with dedication and politeness. Thank you very much to the team. The food - what can I say? I have never tasted anything so delicious in my life. The pizzas are to die for and there is nothing better than Di Rita's Spaghetti and Meatballs when you are craving some comfort food. Prices are in line with similar restaurants. You must not compare this restaurant to any chain restaurant - the quality of the ingredients is simply superior and authentically Italian. Trust me - you do not want to miss eating at this restaurant. We cannot wait for our next visit!

Amazing food, lovely venue and great service. You can eat in cheaper establishments, but you get what you pay for and if I'm eating out, then I want fantastic food and Di Rita's is a guarantee you'll get exactly that.

I went with a group of girls for my besties 50th birthday. The service was impeccable considering we were rather loud due to celebrations. I ordered a basil birthday cake for the event which was scrummy. I had a Diritas special pizza which has the classic Italian thin base made with sour dough and fresh wet mozzarella. We all had a limoncello spritzer cocktail which was very tasty.

Food was tasty, service was good My only issue was paying £9.90 for a gin & tonic . Inflated the final bill to an amount which would stop me visiting again

Well food was ok starter was nice and then went down hill, was expecting more Italian dishes to be on the menu. Food in my opinion was well over priced for what you got. Sorry just had to be honest.

I thought £47 for a pizza, beer and slice of cheesecake slightly expensive.

This is a place where you can spend some time at. You are made most welcome with a smile. You can sit next to the River Ouse and watch the boats and wildlife go by.

The food was excellent staff efficient and the house red was delicious. I would recommend this restaurant to my friends and family.

Finding yourself in this Fenland town on a damp Sunday evening is not a promising prospect as far as dinner is concerned. But finding this restarant open I ventured in. Long story made short. Delicious feshly cooked scallops, crème caramel, glass of house wine. The inner man satisfied and composure resorted. Thank you!

My wife & I stumbled across this restaurant whilst looking for somewhere to eat. Unfortunately, we won't be returning. The food is very overpriced, £15 for the thinnest Calamari sharing platter I have ever seen, 2 main meals, meatballs and spaghetti and a breaded chicken breast and spaghetti which were expensive and very mediocre. The best of it was being charged £13 for 2 x orange juice and lemonades! To top it off the 10% service charge was automatically added to the bill without our knowledge, something I believe should be at the customers discretion based on the service they receive and the quality of the food. My fault, I should've checked the bill a bit more thoroughly. Needless to say, we won't be returning.

Saturday evening meal for 4. Service was first class , very friendly and polite. Menus have great choice and the food was excellent quality. Drinks choice really extensive with some great gins/cocktails. Reasonably priced too.

5 of us went here on recommendation of my wife. Great looking building inside, good feel to the place. menu excellent, lots to choose from, we ate in the front pizza/pasta section not al la carte. Lovely little restaurant hidden at the back. Small menu, which I like because it generally means they do it well. Beautifully served and well seasoned. We’ll definitely return again. The carpaccio and scallops were amazing and the halibut with samphire and chicken & prawn dishes were both lovely. Looking forward to trying the rest of the menu sometime 😋

We visited the pizza & pasta restaurant for our anniversary and were absolutely overwhelmed with the great service and fabulous food. We went all out and had starters, mains & sides, finishing off with coffee and cakes. The restaurant itself is wonderfully decorated, the food is fresh and delicious and the people there were just lovely, we’ll definitely be back and highly recommend a trip here 💜

Went there for Sunday lunch with friends. My friend told me, this was the best Italian restaurant in town. I quite liked the easygoing athmosphere, the kindness of the staff, the availability of different types of dishes. I got a pizza and it was really good must confess. All in all a pleasant experience. I also liked they had a selection of desserts, which you could take also home and a selection of Italian food products that you could buy.

We came as a family for afternoon tea, this is something that has only been introduced at Di Rita’s and wow it was amazing! The food that was given were a selection of different freshly made sandwiches (rolls were baked on site). Salmon & cream cheese, strong mature cheese and they made a beautiful vegetation Mediterranean vegetables. A selection of different cakes, scones, meringue, French fancies and even a chocolate shaped as a frog. We had to get some cakes boxed up to take home due to us being so full! Tom was our server and we couldn’t have been happier with his service. He was so attentive to our table, ensuring we were happy at all times, whether we wanted more tea etc. It was a pleasure to meet him! Thank you for such a lovely afternoon tea, it was perfect!

Visited this month for the 1st time after hearing so many good things. I personally don't see the hype. Only one member of staff was actually doing anything rest stood about doing nothing. Drink orders were forgotten about and had to chase to get them and even order them. My pizza wasn't great either. Order didn't get passed to the kitchen so was significantly delayed, 3 hungry under 7s and getting just bread for them proved a challenge. Then, despite their delay, we're told table was needed by 8.30. We were prompt in ordering. Dessert choice was limited, told they were busy earlier, even though we were one of the first evening tables in. Food is quite reasonable but not particularly good value. Plus got stung for 10% service charge as 4 adults and 3 children which we should have rejected as the service wasn't there. Doubt we'll be back as there's better in town.

Lovely Italian afternoon tea, a different take on the usual. Would have liked more than one meatball per person though! Staff very friendly and food well prepared and served.

My group of friends and I weren't particularly impressed. The food was good and the majority of staff were lovely, however we felt that the drinks and sundries were overpriced. An issue with our bill, which we didn't feel was dealt with in a customer-friendly or professional way, left us feeling disappointed and therefore unlikely to return. p.s. since posting my review the owner has contacted me directly offering her apologies. Owing to this positive communication, my friends and I will be returning to Di Rita's in the near future.

We’ve been to Di Rita’s twice since they’ve moved to the old bank and have not been disappointed! Pizza is delicious, service is great and the restaurant itself is so light and airy. My husband is vegan and they offer vegan pizza which gets a huge thumbs up.

We returned again this time to the new restaurant at the old bank. We were left wondering what had happened to the old, intimate, cosy, and rustic feeling restaurant we loved so much. Whilst the staff were polite and friendly, we felt a little underwhelmed from the menu which although Italian in style, seemed from our choices to be lacking some of the finesses we remembered from the old place. I’m sure during the day, it’s a great place for a bistro lunch but for an evening didn’t quite fit the bill of the old place.

I could leave it at the fact that Di Rita's make the best pizzas in St Ives, and that would be worth a visit on its own. Bit it's so much more than that. It's a slice of modern and classic Italy which is worth visiting for a morning cappuccino or an evening meal whether a family catch-up or romantic night out.
