Brackley Chinese Takeaway in South Northamptonshire

I am really impressed. We have struggled to find a good Chinese takeaway around the area since we moved here. We tried these guys and they were excellent. Remember, you need cash for delivery. Thoroughly recommend, very tasty and the best Chinese in over a year. We will be back!

After a busy day of sightseeing and shopping we opted for a takeaway and a Chinese. All our food was very good and tasty and my Singapore chow mein was extremely tasty and not oily at all which I was really happy about it was very fresh tasting. The young lady who took our phone order was very polite and nice.

This is a very good Chinese takeaway and they deliver, the food is always very good, we use this takeaway all the time for us and others that stay with us in there Motorhomes Amazing food and very good value

I had a delivery on Monday and the delivery was really fast and the man delivering was very kind. The food was also really hot and delicious. I really recommend the special Fried Rice!

Admittedly we has a good curry and satay on Monday, but today (Wed) we both had satay. The sauce was little more than cooking oil with the consistency of water and tasted of no more than chili. Won't be using them again.

My first ever takeaway from Brackley Chinese. I ordered the food by telephone, the girl who answered the phone sounded like she would rather have been somewhere else. To get her to confirm each dish as I read them out was a real effort for her. The food arrived and this is what we ordered; Egg fried rice - average dish, not hard to get wrong Garlic & spicy salt spare ribs - dry meat, little flavour of garlic or spice Chicken with Green pepper & black bean sauce, Chicken with ginger and spring onion, Satay Chicken - these last three dishes were awful. The chicken was rubbery and not fresh. The consistency suggests it was frozen and pre-cooked. Each dish did contain the described ingredients but the sauces were thick, sticky and gelatinous, swimming in oil. It would seem that little effort was put into preparing the dishes with minimal use of fresh ingredients. Apart from the rice the remainder of the dishes used pre-cooked meat and pre-mixed sauces just all thrown together then scooped into plastic containers. The food didn't even look appetising. No card payment option, cash on delivery only which was a pain trying to find some cash in the house. The only positive was the prompt delivery I have been having Chinese takeaway food for over 40 years and this has been the most sub standard I have ever tried. I would not recommend and will not be using Brackley Chinese again.

Ordered a delivery, came really quick. Food was hot and middle of the road. Not very good value really. Was ok and will order again but there are better Chinese takeaways in the area. The only Chinese that offers a deliver service however.

We have a Chinese meal from here every week and have dine so for a long time , we think this is the best Chinese food around this area , never been disappointed, excellent delivery service and very helpful staff, al in all very pleased I would recommend this Chinese

Food is prepared quickly and served piping hot. Shop opens early which is useful. Only downside is that they are cash only - which I don't like because I have not used cash since the pandemic and prefer contactless because of Covid.

We use these quite regularly and tonight we received a wrong order .. called and was advised nothing they could do as too busy .. so one member of the family basically couldn’t eat but could give it free next order .. I can understand we all make mistakes but surely you should correct it and being a regular customer .sorry is unacceptable

Ordered and collected a set meal for two early on Friday evening and was very disappointed - the beef was so full of gristle that it was inedible - the rest of the meal was just about edible but that's the best I can say about it - it was barely luke warm and just didn't taste that great.

Excellent Chinese food and they deliver to Turweston , always on time and food always hot Very good all round

We live exactly 1 mile from Brackley Chinese but they refuse to deliver to us purely because they can’t be bothered to figure out where we are (we live on a farm). Every other takeaway in Brackley that offers delivery is happy to come to us.

food arrived quickly, hot and very nice, we had sweet and sour prawns, crispy beef, all good, prawn crackers

Really good, been using them for years, best Chinese in Brackley! great timings for delivery, shame they have to keep putting their prices up every year!

The food is getting better, I enjoy the chicken balls with curry sauce. The home delivery is better if you order before 7pm as it isn’t waiting around longer. I regularly use this takeaway because of the home delivery service.

We’ve been going to Brackley Chinese as a family for over 10 years - the food is always really good quality and staff are very friendly. Sometimes the wait can be a while as it’s a very popular takeaway but they’ve always done their best to get the food out as quick as possible. Both collection and delivery services are reliable and comparatively fast - it’s all about knowing rush hour! (Avoid ordering at 7 if you can!!)

We have always enjoyed food from this take away. It looks good and tastes good. We have only collected, never had delivery. We have never had a complaint!

My partner and I ordered our dinner from here and the food was amazing and the service was excellent. We will be ordering from here more often.

Perfectly adequate Chinese take away if you don’t feel like cooking , but slow on delivery but food good .

We have used this take away restaurant loyally for nearly 20 years but tonight I experienced the worst service ever. I ordered beef with green pepper and black bean sauce it had so many red chillies in it it was inedible! When I called the lady on reception said she didn't cool the food, not how you handle a complaint, I was basically told that's how they cook it! I don't know which part of China this recipe is from, but it certainly wasn't the dish I ordered, thanks for your terrible terrible handling of my complaint you have lost a loyal customer!

I order by phone and have home delivery. Staff member who answers the phone is polite and knowledgeable of the menu. Always dilivered with the stated time, delivery lady very pleasant.

Nothing special but also reasonably priced. They do like chilli so if it says spicy on the menu then believe it!

Shame they don’t delivery after 10pm on a Saturday night. Nevertheless a nice takeaway all round, friendly service and not bad value.

Come here regularly and I can never complain! Staff are lovely and if there’s a problem it’s gets sorted out straight away or if it’s not fixable then the appropriate actions are taken (food swap/refund etc). Been coming here for a few years now and it’s honestly now my favourite Chinese. Thank you.

The Chow Mein, soft noodle dishes we had were lovely, not at all dry and plenty of meat. The Sweet & Sour chicken balls & King Prawn balls delicious but sadly the Sweet & Sour Pork balls were so salty we couldn’t eat them. BBQ ribs nice and the special chop suey was fair.

This is by far the best Chinese takeaway we have had for a long time. Good menu, very friendly staff, didn’t have to wait long but food was hot and freshly cooked.

Probably the best in Brackley. They take your order over the phone and tell you when it’s likely to be delivered to your home

Have used this takeaway for a number of years but recently the quality has taken a dive.

Shopping around for a decent Chinese takeaway and found this little gem. Delicious food, good value and pleasant staff and service. Unfortunately it's approx a 16 mile commute so we won't be using it as much as we'd like, but I highly recommend them to anyone who lives nearer. Shame they don't deliver.

We had travelled all day and wanted a takeaway on the way home without having to go into Bicester which is out of the way. I looked online and found this place.

Siempre decepcionado con mi anterior para llevar chino en Milton Keynes, así que esperaba probar mejor. Siempre me parece que el fin de un lunes y dado que esto es uno de los pocos abiertos un lunes, no me defraudó. La comida es buenísima, buenas porciones y agradable y caliente

Have used for many years and regularly have delivery service. Terrible service tonight with nothing by way of apology. 2 hours is not acceptable! You cant judge customer service until you have an issue. Based on this may try elsewhere!

He usado este para llevar durante los últimos 20 años, que demuestra que a pesar de ser otros para llevar en la ciudad china que uso este. Hemos probado otros pero ninguno le dan el mismo servicio y calidad. La comida y el servicio excelente para uso continuará para los próximos 20 años :)

Usamos este para llevar un par de veces ya que mover a Brackley. En general, he encontrado la comida muy buena, el tamaño de las porciones son más que suficientes para una persona y los precios son razonables. Es tan refrescante ver adecuado trozos de pechuga de pollo en sus platos de comida para llevar que a diferencia de algunos perritos" usar el pollo es? Variedad.

This restaurant gas gone downhill in my opinion. The wide menu is good, service is always pretty slow. Quality of food, average. Ok for s takeaway but not that cheap and not really very good value.

a Friend and I on a night out picked up a take away from here.Average priced food, so couldn't grumble, the chicken balls, were amazing, the best I had ever had, but the rest of the food was just your average Chines Take away grub.

Used it for a late-minute take-out dinner. Average Chinese food, a bit on the greasy side for my taste. Portions are generous.

I was passing through and fancied a Chinese take away. This location. Was typical and I enjoyed my take away. There is an Indian next door if you prefer!

I have used the takeaway many times since moving to the area. I have no complaints about the quality and portion sizes. I agree with other reviewers the premises is in desperate need for fresh decoration. The staff are very good and I have never had a problem with my order. I will be continuing to purchase my Chinese meals from here.

Not much choice in Brackley for Chinese, but Jade house probably the best in the high Street. Ordered from here a couple of times and nothing special on both occasions and once getting my order completely wrong! Place needs refurbishing as very dated inside and staff not particularly friendly.

Had many takeaways from here. The Brackley special rice is particularly good. Fairly good food and value but nothing special. Just your average Chinese takeaway however, in my opinion is the best one in Brackley.

Timely deliveries, shame they don't have squid on the menu, but excellent variety. Useful to have locally and good service.

Quite good for a new place. Competitive prices, given the quality of food. My lunch time is sorted now :).

My son and I have had takeaway from this establishment for the past fifteen years. We have the full weekend at Silvertone, I cook on our BBQ for three nights and then after the race we treat ourselves to a Chinese. We have always enjoyed the food supplied to us and the friendly service given.

tastes ok but not my 1st choice in Brackley - guess its a matter of taste but having tried all chinese takeaway this one isnt my favourite
