Had a wonderful time doing archery! Great instructor! Friendly and patient. Knowledgeable too. Lovely location. Unfortunately I had great difficulty finding it and was 15 minutes late for my session. Maybe more signage needed? Also could have done with more places to sit down while waiting for your go. But we enjoyed it a lot.

Even though it was raining we had a lovely afternoon doing archery and the instructor was very friendly and knowledgable. We had a few 'competitions' which was fun.

Had a one hour archery lesson at Bracelands. The coach was great - very clear and reassuring. I think we all learned a lot in that short time. Just the right amount of competitiveness for a fun hour.

Joe at Bracelands was very calming towards me (a 40 year old man scared of heights). I tackled the tree climbing challenges because my 7 year old son wanted to do it. He absolutely loved it. The challenges he puts you on are very do-able, even though I thought I'd fail spectacularly. Thanks Joe for a very enjoyable 2 hours! From that family from Magor...

We've just come back from a weekend away at forest holidays Forest of Dean. We were a large group and booked to do archery on sun morning. Our instructor Ellie was absolutely fantastic, she made it really enjoyable for all & all 20 massively enjoyed the hour session! We will be booking in again when we next visit.

I was here for a weekend as part of an 18 man stag party, the food was great Breakfast and dinner, the service was great, the price was great, Alison and Andy made so much effort to make us feel welcome from the moment we arrived to the moment we left, rest assured I will 100% return with the lads for a reunion here. I honestly cannot fault it! note it is a bunkhouse and not a "hotel" but anyone who has been here will tell you the service was superb.

I stayed here with 7 friends for an adventure weekend away. We received an extremely warm welcome on arrival and were asked what time we would like breakfast in the morning. We were then given a guided tour through the forest to the White Horse at Staunton where we had an excellent supper. We followed a glow stick trail back to the bunkhouse, much appreciated as it was pitch black! 8 of us slept in one of the 10 bunk rooms which was clean with pillows and duvets provided. I think I was unlucky with my mattress as I had a few springs sticking into me during the night but none of my friends seemed to have the same problem! Fantastic hot showers and delicious home cooked breakfast with freshly brewed coffee on the sunny lawn completed our stay perfectly. It is basic but doesn't pretend to be anything else and is amazing value for money at £20 each B&B. Would definitely recommend.

We always come to the Gallery Tearoom when we're visiting the Gloucester Antiques Centre. Such a cute tearoom with great coffee, tea, luscious cakes and proper lunches. This time we were served by a lovely, jolly young lady. Highly recommended!

Probé este restaurante durante el programa Eat Out to Help Out. La comida es absolutamente deliciosa, los dueños son muy amables. ¿Fue una gran experiencia gastronómica para toda la familia? Folk Bistro es una joya escondida en Gloucester. ¡Muy recomendable!

People make places. And this is so true with regard to this place of like-minded passionate caring folk who have a sense of loyalty to the nation and concern of our lives and just decency and values for small business and the family and the the individual. And with that in mind I was felt very welcome with very efficient and intelligent staff and some lovely Edwardian decor and feel and ambiance to the place and it was a lovely welcoming environment from start to finish.

My salad was poor . Very watery not a good variety nor very tasty. Coffee was excellent as was the service . Incredibly hot inside but too cold to sit outside. A few tweaks needed but certainly worth a visit for a coffee
