Chose the Set Menu 3; food beautiful and very plenitful - had the lasagne and it was so rich and tasty I couldn't finish it! Restaurant ( and bathroom ) spotlessly clean. Staff were friendly and attentive. Parking was free on surrounding roads. Overall, this is a bit of a hidden gem and now we've found it, we will definitely be going again.

pizza was not even luke warm, it was stone cold. very disappointed. want a refund.

Food was delicious, ordered pizza and carbonara and it was freshly made!

We booked at very short notice online which was very easy and quick to do. Being a Wednesday evening the restaurant was fairly quiet which was nice and the service was still brilliant and attentive. The food was also extremely tasty, well-presented and very filling. We had to share the dessert in the end as we were so well-fed. Everything was 5star in my view.

Great service great meals lovely experience truly enjoyed and will most definitely be back. Will be recommending to all.

Excellent Italian meal with wonderful service. Plenty of vegetarian choices across starters, pizzas and pastas. I particularly enjoyed the pumpkin and sage tortellini.

We bumped into this lovely restaurant and it was a very good surprise. The restaurant was modern and the service was very attentive and kind. The food was very delicious and the portions were quite big at a very reasonable price. Totally recommended.

We had a fantastic meal here for Mother’s Day. Food was delicious, service was speedy and we were allowed to relax and enjoy our family time - no pressure to be out for the next sitting like we have found at other restaurants on busy days. A great experience. Would highly recommend.

First visit, certainly not the last. 4 courses, bottle of wine and 4 cocktails, all excellent. The seafood pasta was amazing! Very good live singer. The restaurant has a family feel about it which is not what I was expecting given its name, BR4. Needs an Italian name?? Really couldn’t fault it and can’t wait to go back

First time visiting and really liked this venue. Cocktails were reasonably priced and really delicious (and potent!) Really pretty and classy decor; friendly, helpful and attentive service. There was s 2-4-1 pizza offer on until 5pm and our server very kindly applied the discount even though we ordered after this time and the pizza was fab. I especially recommend the Strawberry Caipiroska. Will definitely return.

I have booked table for my birthday. When I came there it was close!!!!!!!!!! It was 7pm. Tuesday.

Lovely restaurant, great service and food is amazing

The staff are lovely and the food is good. However, both times I’ve been there they were missing half the menu. It is also pretty expensive.

Visited BR4 today for lunch with a friend and it was superb! The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated and the staff were lovely. The food was gorgeous and to top it off, they had live entertainment in the form of a magician! He was AMAZING! Such a nice touch and really made the day (pardon the pun) even more magical! I can't wait to go back and take some friends!

Oh dear. Yes I know it was Mothers Day so we were prepared for some delay. Things started well with menus being handed out and the drinks arriving quite quickly but things went downhill from there. After over 45 minutes, with no one coming to the table to serve us, we managed to flag down a member of staff to take our order and he promptly told us much of the menu we had been given was not available and the Pizza Oven had been turned off (why it was 6.30 pm). Menus should not be handed out without stating what isn’t available this is just simply poor service. There was no offer of a reduction in the drinks bill when we left after over an hour without eating anything. We had to resort to the local Chinese Takeaway which wasn’t quite the Mothers Day event we’d planned. We won’t be going there again.

I had the lamb which fantastic. Service was also fantastic. I guess my one quibble would be the music from the bar was a bit louder than most places that do fine dining. I think turning down the music would be appreciated by people who eating.

Lovely.. Not cheap.. But great food

Yet another excellent meal at BR4. The cocktails are amazing and I had the delicious homemade asparagus and ricotta tortelloni whilst my friend enjoyed an equally delicious mushroom risotto. Wonderful to have such an excellent restaurant on our doorstep - thank you!

Nice food and service but a bit expensive for the area

Took the kids here for an after school treat, half price pizza. The pizzas were massive, very tasty, all made fresh. The kids could not finish them but they enjoyed them so much we brought the rest home. Staff are very friendly and nothing was too much for them. Price was amazing. We will be returning with the rest of the family. And soon. Highly recommended!!

How bizarre! Went to this restaurant yesterday for family Birthday and although I had no problem with the food which was quite good they forgot my wife’s dinner and seemed like it wasn’t that bigger deal as far as they were concerned. No real apologies even though hers arrived 20mins later and was over salty. We then asked for desert menus and coffees and were told that the kitchen staff had gone home. Surely you would ask if anyone wanted desert before allowing the whole kitchen staff to leave as it was only around 9.30 pm, so we paid the bill and left. I only scored 3 as the food wasn’t too bad but only a generous 1 star for service I’m afraid and won’t be rushing back Date of visit: September 2022

Lovely atmosphere and great food nice cocktails

Four of us went here for dinner. Service was very slow. Prawn cocktail with 3 prawns and no sauce. 3 of us had fish which was dry and luke warm. Steak was tough and flavourless. Had not been rested as it bled out on the plate. Portion sizes are skimpy too. Pretty much disappointing and overpriced for what it is.

The food was really amazing, waiting staff really nice. However, there was quite a long time between each meal… and the restaurant really wasn’t that busy. Quality of the food makes up for it, but can certainly improve. We will go back!

Great ambience, delicious food and very hospitable waiters. Highly recommend this little gem to be found in Coney Hall either for a mid-week treat or a weekend celebration!

First time here tonight and it was such a shame. The food was delicious and the waiter was brilliant and very attentive. Unfortunately we waited over an hour for our food, which our waiter apologised for several times. The owner asked for our feedback when we finished, we told him it was slow and he immediately became defensive. Unfortunately we won't be back because of the service and his attitude, which is a shame because the food was fabulous and the waiter was great.

Very good Sunday lunch. Roast beef, Yorkshire puds etc. Service, a little slow, but did not affect our experience.

Food is ok but the owner of the restaurant is extremely arrogant and rude.

Wednesday is the wrong night for a visit. Only 3 tables occupied and service took forever with two main meals needing to be returned to heated up. We assume it was the chefs night off so somewhat disappointing night out.

Really great decor & food but they need to get real with their prices! £7 for a Pint of Peroni & £35.50 for Three Courses! I can see what market they are aiming at but it is not for me. Sorry! Also be careful as the prices on the website no way match the reality.

This a great restaurant with delicious food, tasty cocktails and lovely staff. We always have a good time when we’re there.

Both the starter and main were lovely and couldn't be faulted. Atmosphere was great and the staff are very helpful. However, the deconstructed cheesecake was a little disappointing and paying £7.50 for a pint of Peroni seems over the top (would expect that in central London but not West Wickham)

Everytime I have been (which is quite a lot recently) it gets better and better. So nice to see a quality restaurant open in Coney Hall. Congrats to the owners and chef, would highly recommend to everyone.

Really nice to see a new restaurant in the area that isn’t afraid to try something new. Primarily Italian cuisine but with some twists. Loved my duck and orange tortellini. Highly recommended

Fabulous Restaurant! The service is friendly and professional. A lovely young lady and the manager looked after my partner and l all evening as we celebrated my birthday. Food was impressive and well presented. We had king scallops , ravioli with asparagus to start with and rack of lamb and fillet of salmon for mains all of which was yum.. The decor and ambience really added to our evening. A chill soundtrack produced just the right vibe and interior design made the place elegant and romantic. Will definitely be back! Thanks

Good food and wine - the young waiting staff were excellent - sooooo noisy though!

Last time I will go there.Waited over an hour for a pizza. Had to ask if we had been forgotten to be told oh we haven't put them in the oven yet. Staff young and inexperienced no guidence from the "matrede" overpriced and protencius

Wife and I went for anniversary dinner not knowing what to expect, no disappointment warm friendly staff ,great food , great atmosphere,so good we went back the following week just for the hell of it !!! ..... definitely due another visit !! Can be a group of friends or just you and your partner results will be the same money well spent !!!
