Really splendid Sunday Lunch. Interesting and varied menu but could not resist the Devon beef and that was superb- absolutely melted in the mouth. Great selection of vegetables perfectly cooked, great gravy and home made horseradish that knocked your socks off. A lovely space, friendly staff and good wine list. All very reasonably priced - honestly if I lived in the area I would probably visit every week. It deserves to be booked out every week!

LustleighVisited for lunch while walking in the area. Opted for the takeaway in the garden. It was fantastic! The salad that came with the ploughmans was amazing, I have never seen so much variety and was spoilt for choice. There was even the option to pair with a cheese scone rather usual bread, I couldn't resist. My husband has the double cream tea which was delicious, generous portions of everything. If we're in the area again we will definitely be back as this is a great find.

23 Brunswick PlaceLovely lunch with family whilst passing through en route back home. A mix of jacket potatoes, club sandwich, ploughmans and afternoon tea treat for the grandson! Staff were both pleasant and helpful, with a lovely outside seating area to enjoy the sunshine.
