We were recently in town visiting and found Georgia's service exceptionally courteous and professional. In fact, in the tearoom, everyone was delightful. Please pass on our thanks.

This is a very well organised and interesting antique showroom particularly if you are into retro furniture and accessories. Large stock should mean there is something for everyone and plenty of space to spread out during these covid times. Lovely little coffee shop at the front with comfortable retro soft seats and great coffee and a friendly welcome from Georgia. Also had the bargain of the year - hot buttered crumpet with jam -£1!

I came to Bournemouth with my mate for the weekend and we had another lovely day at Bournemouth's Vintage Emporium! We had a drink in the fabulous café (I still adore the strawberry milkshake) and then we had a stroll around the emporium. As always the owner was super helpful and I bought a fabulous metal sign that had my name written all over it! If you find yourself in Bournemouth make sure you make the time for a visit to this brilliant Emporium & Tearoom....x

Whenever I am in Bournemouth I will ALWAYS make time for Bournemouth's Vintage Emporium! We live in Sheffield but travel down to Bournemouth whenever possible and always make time to visit the emporium! The emporium is full of lots of interesting things and fresh stock and you really need to walk round more than once to take everything in! The stylish chap who runs/owns the emporium is fabulous and really friendly - I wish this emporium was in Sheffield! There is also a gorgeous tearoom where the cakes & food is delicious and the ladies who run the tea room are so lovely too! This is an absolute must if you are in the area....I really need to relocate to Bournemouth! Hope to be back soon for a strawberry milkshake!

Wonderful place to stroll around with lots of interesting things to look at and buy plus a vintage tea room with mouthwatering food and drinks. We have bought so much for our home from here e.g. Gplan sideboard, nest of tables, lamps, ornaments, plus a wonderful couch which we had upholstered in Jade Green leather by Ed Cahill. A must see place to visit.

We have driven past a few times but thought we would stop for a look around. The tea rooms were good, we stopped for a coffee and milkshake. My husband wasn’t keen on the coffee but the milkshake was good. It has great ambience but the vintage chairs were a bit smelly. The antiques were rather pricey. Molly’s Den was much cheaper. Overall an interesting visit.

I have visited this vintage style coffee shop several times and just love it. The light lunches are reasonably priced and very tasty and this is an excellent venue to meet up with friends whilst you sink into their squishy settees and retro chairs. Having had your refreshments, there is a large emporium just through the premises, where you can browse for as long as you like at the thousands of retro items and antiques which are on display and for sale.

This little hidden gem is an absolute delight for an afternoon tea/coffee and cake or hot food inc an all day breakfast with excellent bacon, lots of choice and good food, allows dogs and even supply dog biscuits. Made to feel extremely welcome the emporium for shopping is very highly priced but each item is unique so worth as much as you would want the item, personally I wouldn’t rush back for the shopping side but I already have a visit planned for next week in the cafe and have returned already since my first find and visit of this establishment and i can’t compliment the staff or food enough all round an absolute gem of a find.

Visited this week, and this is about the antiques and collectables side, not the restaurant. The Vintage Emporium is full of interesting stalls, but it's very cold and gloomy. It also has the owner's special choice of music blaring - don't know the female artist, but three minutes of dirge for example on her thoughts of suicide, or discordant chords with long silences and then screaming don't enthuse us to browse or spend. But I did pick up some paper ephemera - old magazines and took them to the sales counter. They didn't appear to be marked, but other items in the box had a price sticker for £1.00 or £2.00 on the cover. The owner did find prices though - hidden inside - and all were £4.00-£8.00. I commented this is a bit misleading - and went back to the individual selling area check - yes, every £1.00 and £2.00 was on the front cover, everything else more expensive was hidden inside! I said I found this a bit misleading, and got a loud, shouty, tirade about how rude I was, that the shop owner was offended etc. Completely irrational from a shop which frankly, is badly run, cold and unwelcoming. You've been warned!

This was bought as a Christmas present for me. I went with high expectations only to be severely disappointed! The latte was the only part of the afternoon that was acceptable. There was more mustard than ham on the sandwiches, which were also dry, as if they had been uncovered for most of the day. The selection of cakes was limited, and what happened to the 'lashings' of cream advertised? A very poor experience, when you could have afternoon tea at the top hotel in Christchurch for just £2 more per person!

What a shame as I believe it could be really good in here. The sandwiches were poor, ordinary cut loaf white and brown with very thin ham with more mustard than ham which is all you could taste. Thick cucumber on rather dry white bread, could not taste any cheese. One Victoria sandwich and one chocolate cake, very dense and solid and quite sickly. Scones were reasonable but disappointingly, I don't think any of these were home made and would have been much nicer warm. Not enough clotted cream even though a sign on the counter says cream teas with scones and lashings of clotted cream. Unfortunately we did not manage to eat much of the food. Walked round the shop which is quite interesting if you like that sort of thing. Visited the ladies, which did not contain any toilet paper or towels to dry ones hands. This was bought as a Christmas present for us but sadly we will not be returning.

Oh dear, what a shame. Potential to be lovely. We had booked but they had no record of us so we were told there would be quite a wait for the tea to be prepared even though there were only four of us and only four other customers! We should have been alerted when we saw an uncleared table where the sandwiches from the afternoon tea were untouched, it was because they were inedible!! Dry white bread, wafer thin ham - masses of eye watering mustard. Huge chunks of cucumber with the barest spreading of cream cheese!! The cakes were nice but definitely not fresh or homemade. Staff were pleasant but hopeless. The shop was a great trip down memory lane so made the visit worthwhile but we won't go back.

The store has real charm with so many gizzmo's and gadgets from years gone by. The cafe certainly has potential due to the quaint atmosphere. However the saggy chairs, dirty floors and tables could do with a re-vamp. Vintage can be done without having to actually feel like you are in seats that haven't been touched in 30 years. The food and dtink selection was good, however when ordering a cream tea we were told that we would have to wait for scones as they had just been taken out of the freezer and needed to be microwaved....ummm not the fresh baked delights we had in mind.

Being a frequent go-er of vintage fairs and strong lover of all things vintage i was recommended this place by a friend and it is easily the best vintage shop i've been too! It's incredible, no tit-tat or grandad jumpers, you can tell that the owners have a good eye for vintage and carefully select what goes in their shop. The emporium holds more furniture than clothing which i loved as it's what makes it stand out to other vintage shops, its beautifully laid out and has a tearooms as well with incredible decor and furniture in there too and i had a strawberry milkshake in an old fashioned milk bottle! They really put a lot of effort into everything, even the small details... if you're thinking about going to this, DO! it is amazing!

What a fabulous surprise this emporium was!Firstly, after the tea-room, there is a huge range of vintage clobber for sale from various units! There isn't the 'dead' atmosphere of an antique centre- this feels like a vintage haunt for vintage lovers managed by someone with a true passion for vintage - a huge difference from other places.Back to the tea room aspect- it's charming.I had the cream tea which was under a fiver. Tea was great as was the jam and clotted cream and overall presentation BUT i could tell the scones weren't as fresh as they could have been. So, my only criticism is maybe improve the baking a tad! I'd use this place anyway because it is so visually appealing and quality is reasonable but i could be even better.Definitely will be back- tea and vintage everything - who could resist?!

Fronting an eclectic vintage emporium and furnished with mismatched retro furniture this tea room showed great promise. The first disappointment was that the choice of food was either cream tea or a few dried out looking cakes - yes I know it's a tea room but most have a little more to offer on the menu.Had the cream tea at least been edible this may not have been so bad. Unfortunately it consisted of two supermarket scones, shop bought jam from what tasted like a 'value' range, and a meagre portion of clotted cream. Worse still the tea was undrinkable as there was too much water in the pot and the extra coffee was brown water. With so many great places to enjoy a snack or a cake in the surrounding area this is not a café I will be returning to.
