Excellent university with a very well maintained open campus with lots of green spaces in the surrounding areas. Good facilities such as cafés and the student bar, Dylan's, which are very competitively priced. The sir Michael Cobham library is also very well maintained, peaceful, and the perfect place to study, with 8 private study rooms to use which can be reserved free of charge to guarantee entry. The library is open 24/7, with security personnel on site at all times.

hashtag#UNFAIR TREATMENT BY Bournemouth University ADMISSIONS DEPARTMENT Iam writing this post to bring attention to an unfortunate situation I am facing with Bournemouth University. After being offered hashtag#ConditionalOffer (condition-IELTS [Academic] with 6.0. For which i submitted my IELTS marks sheet in which I secured 7.0) for Msc Digital Health. I was told to pay 3000GBP as deposit, and I paid 3000 GBP of deposit fees in good faith. However, following this , the admission department has now raised concerns about the legitimacy of my documents, despite having previously accepted them and extended an offer. Despite my attempts to resolve the issue and provide clarification, the university has refused to refund my deposit of hashtag#3000GBP. This situation is extremely frustrating and unfair, as I acted on their and trusted their admission process . It's disheartening that they are now questioning the very documents they originally deemed acceptable and are holding onto my deposit. I believe its important for universities to handle these situations with transparency and fairness. I hope that Bournemouth University will reconsider its decision and engage in a more open dialogue to resolve this matter After receving the offer from Bournemouth University, I was excited to take the next big step towards my dream of furthering my education. I paid the deposit fees, trusting that everything was in order. However, shortly afterward, the university claimed that my documents were not legitimate, even though they had accepted them previously. Despite my best effort to resolve the issue and offer additional verification, the Bournemouth University refused to refund my deposit. this unexpected financial loss left me in a difficult position, as I had budgeted my resources carefully for my studies. With no refund and my plans to study abroad now uncertain, I had no choice but to find a job in India to recover from the financial hit. This experience has been both financially and emotionally challenging The refusal to refund my deposit has not only delayed my academic journey but has also placed a significant burden on me. I am certainly working in India to recover financially and my plans to study abroad are now uncertain I respectfully request that the university reconsider their decision and provide a refund of my deposit, as I acted in good faith based on their offer. This refund would help me get back on track. I hope Bournemouth University can take a fair and transparent approach on resolving this matter.

Offer questionable degree courses … that would seem appealing to young impressionable people, just to take money off them with no regard of the student and their future… Avoid at all costs

"Its easy as a walk in the park" ! not walk on the beach. Your Add is repetitive and annoying.... There are a few reasons why "a walk in the park" is more prevalent: -Cultural Perception: Parks are more universally accessible and common in various cultures and regions, making the expression more relatable to a wider audience. -Historical Usage: "A walk in the park" has been used longer and more frequently in literature, media, and everyday conversation, solidifying its place as the go-to idiom for describing ease. -Broader Application: Parks are associated with simplicity and leisure in a broader sense, while beaches, though also associated with relaxation, can sometimes be linked to specific geographic locations or conditions (e.g., sandy, rocky, crowded, or windy).

I went to this university for a Master program in Events Management and I absolutely loved all the time spent there. Good lecturers, loving facilities, resources etc. The campuses are huge, modern buldings and facilities. I didnt live in one of their campuses but from what I saw from visiting my colleagues, the accomodation they offer is lovely. Of course is not cheap, but all is worth it for the experience. The university also has restaurants, cafes etc with affordable prices. A gym as well for those who are interested. What I loved the most from this experience was the library they have and all the resources they offer to their students to make their life easier. Second thing I liked the most was the teamwork which they emphasize, practical activities, the group projects they give you just to help you understand the theoretical ideas you learn and how to apply them in real life. They also have lots of programs and volunteering you can apply for. During my studies there I had the chance to be accepted for an International Student Ambassador job. You can imagine how happy I was having a job and working for the university , enjoying what I do and also be paid for doing it. As part of the job, I was writing blogs, taking photos for their social media channels, participating in photoshoots for their social media pages, brochures and websites, holding campus tours for their Open Days at the uni etc. It was an amazing experience which helped me grow and definitely I would repet it if I would have the chance again. Pros: ranked on 29th worldwide out of 1591 univerisities measured. Cons: not affordable for everybody, high taxes for their programms but you can always apply for a Student Finance from the Gouvernment.

If you have autism, ADHD, anxiety or any other neurodivergent issues please do not come here. They will take your money and put you into a lot of anxiety and bother. Universities like this like to take advantage of vulnerable people and families.

A senior lecturer at Bournemouth University, Mr. Tilak Ginige, along with a team of academics, engaged our services for a research scoping trip in Sri Lanka, leveraging their credibility with BU. Regrettably, since their return to the UK, the balance due remains unpaid, and there has been no response to any of our emails.

Lecturers spend more time striking than teaching, and they have made it so students can’t claim any compensation for lost days because “that way it makes more of an impact”, what a selfish way to go about things…. ruining students education that they are paying for. The uni obviously doesn't care about the service they are supposed to be providing.

As an autistic person, going to bournemouth university was the biggest mistake I have ever made From the the universities medical center GP's telling me that autistic people don't fit into society and that no one cares about my problems as my health difficulties spiralled out of control unnaddressed, to the Universities accomodation department overcharging me dramatically on the agreed rent amount causing me to fall into debt; after initially pulling out of an accomodation agreement three days before I was to move while refusing me the opportunity to discuss it with anybody in a place of authority; nearly resulting in me having no where to go and nearly resulting in homelessness I am left feeling that bournemouth university has acted with an actual intention to harm my wellbeing And there are many more issues like this which I had faced in Bournemouth I hear stories of discrimination against neurodivergent students at the uni but the extent of the issues I have faced as a neurodivergent student attending Bournemouth university have been unbelievably cruel, unreasonable and persistent

In August, 2019, my wife and I accompanied our younger daughter to check in the University. She returned to Hong Kong in March 2020 only to return in Sept 2021 and graduated in June 2022. We came back for a photo session on Nov 7, 2022. I believe she didn’t make the most of the facilities here.

Not a very supportive university for those who suffer mental health issues and doesn't give second chances after student failed to participate due to stress combined with mental and social issues.

Attended open day. Campus is on 2 sites, and the one where my son wants to study was not the site where all the presentations were, so we didn't actually get to see where he will be based. The campus we did see was good, with modern facilities

Sad to say time here has been just awful....from being unable to get anything in the underfunded overcharged student halls, to being given just 5 lessons a week spread over 4 days....to the grim old buildings that still make up much of the uni and Bournemouth as a whole....to the course full of unfriendly antisocial people....to the university not caring about their students in the least unless they're 'LGBTQMNLOP' or whatever other ridiculous PC label.....stay well away if you want a decent education/any kind of social life would be my suggestion

Fantastic university with fantastic staff. I completed my LLM during covid, the whole experience considering the situation was near faultless. Hard working, dedicated and committed staff really made the difference. The only downside which lets the University down is the adminstrative and senior management.

Disclaimer. I have never been to this museum. I've been to Poole many times in the past but not for a few decades. So why am I posting a review? See the attached image which appeared on Reddit today and I'm doing my best to distribute the awesome wholesomeness this museum promotes. When I do go to Poole next, this museum will be my first port of call.

Best Breakfast Around Lived locally for 7 years this is our first visit. Feeling Christmassy we thought let’s walk and go for breakfast. Both decided on the full English. First class. Great value for money. Lovely fresh coffee and washed down with a Mimisa. Absolutely perfect. Happy Christmas.
