Comfortable space with excellent tasting homemade dishes. Staff leave you time to relax with enough attention on bringing your order; we didn't feel rushed or ignored. Nice atmosphere.

I've been here a few times now on different occasions. The fare from the counter is good, albeit nothing special. Good ambiance. You genuinely feel like you are in France. However, service is the big let-down. The first time we came here for the crepes. After placing our order, which took a while in itself, we waited 20 minutes for the crepes to arrive. They took REALLY long, even though there were very few people there. One of the crepes was partly burnt but we didn't bother sending it back seeing how long it takes. The other one was good. The crepes are not cheap (around £12 each). The overall experience was average. In spite of this, I decided to give them another go. But this time the experience was even more disappointing. Even though their opening hours are until 18:00 at 16:00 I was told that I could not order a crepe because the kitchen is closed... I am not sure how I am supposed to know that. There is no indication on their website, nor even on the spot, that customers should not expect a full service throughout their opening hours. The attitude of the owner, as if I was unreasonable to expect to be served at 16.00, even though they advertise their closing time at 18:00, was off-putting. Apart from the fact that it wasted my time. But in any case, I've realised since that there are other places in Finchley that do crepes, so I will definitely not be bothering with this one again. I don't fancy waiting 20 minutes for a burn crepe anyway. I would recommend people to just go somewhere else. There is a café straight opposite that does crepes and Creams do as well.

We were in Tally -Ho shopping when they skies opened. We went into the first restaurant and discovered this gem. We ordered a full English Breakfast with megeze (very spicy), a Popeye Crepe with mushrooms extra and Vegetarian Breakfast. All were delicious. The patisserie selection is outstanding but I passed.

Bar a Nord Finchley, dolci anche buoni ma tanta maleducazione, siamo stati serviti da un cameriere che non aveva nessuna voglia e non ci ha permesso di ordinare al banco. Quando ci siamo seduti e (dopo 20 minuti) abbiamo spiegato che dolci volevamo ci e’ stato detto “eh dovete ordinarli al banco come faccio a ricordarmi?”. Dolci poi portati sbagliati, per altro. I met my daughter here for lunch,after a going to Finchley Memorial hospital. I had the mushroom quiche and she had the shakshuta,very nice.

Absolutely delicious cakes, tarts and pastry, proper french style patisserie. Without doubt the best in Finchley. The sandwiches and savouries are nice too although if you're after a more substantial meal you'd be better off elsewhere as this place is all about the delicacies!

This is my favourite place EVER. Makes you feel just like you are sitting in a cozy French café, great coffee, gorgeous food, top quality ingredients. The pastries and patisserie are exquisite. My kids can't get enough of the freshly made crepes, the delicately light baguettes just like you get in France. The atmosphere is lovely, impeccable service, amazing family business, local and about the best thing in Finchley. Quality at it's finest, skill and more than worth a visit. I've ordered their simply delicious birthday cakes for many an occasion - you just get stodge in the UK and these are light, fresh and totally moreish. LOVE this place!

Sadly the branch we visited TEMPLE FORTUNE is NOT on this site, but we felt we needed to post a review hoping it will alert the owners to list this branch. We were warmly greeted by YASIM, the manager who was very professional, polite & accommodating when it came to ordering due to our dietary needs. The food was freshly prepared, cooked to perfection, tasted scrumptious & presented in a appetising way. We will definitely return very soon & highly recommend this cafe which from our experience is the BEST in the area.

Had a coffee and nice cake on a wet morning to cheer myself up...something quickly caught my eye on the floor...was it a mouse or a rat? Felt uncomfortable and left..looked up hygiene rating..and yes...following hygiene inspection...earlier this year..1= Major improvement necessary! Not sure for why or what, but won’t be going back till number improves.. Have given a 2 star rating as the coffee and cake were nice. Shame about everything else...

Visited on Saturday with a friend. The place was very quiet but service was very slow. The coffees were ok, nothing special. The paste de nata had nothing to do with anything similar to what a pastel de nata actually is. Plus, it was expensive. Not visiting again.

Lovely French cafe, very good coffee and food is always fresh. They make their own bread, pastries and cakes which I highly recommend. The French toast, bannofee pancake and tuna crepe are my personal favourites.

This cafe looks really cute, nice decor and something a bit different on North Finchley high street. However, the waitress was quite unfriendly, slammed our drinks down on the table quite hard and wasn’t that welcoming. I was served a green tea instead of the peppermint I ordered, and the chocolate cake I had was stale and dry. My husband enjoyed his cheesecake and my dad enjoyed his frangipani so some of us had an enjoyable experience.
