We took two kebabs there, it felt like we were just cheated out of money, the kebab had more vegetables than meat, the chicken one had 2 small pieces of chicken, I don’t recommend it!!!!

Ordered the Botan special kebab and chips last night, it was far from special! The chips were terrible, some soggy and others too hard to eat! The kebab was a mix of chicken kofta, lamb & chicken Sheesh and Donner meat. The kofta and lamb were ok, the Donner was disgusting, smelt bad, tasted bad, went straight in the bin and the chicken Sheesh was overcooked, rubbery, it joined the chips & Donner in the bin! Will never order from here again!

Best kebab meat you'll find anywhere in the north west. I get one a out 4 times a week sometimes going back for a second one.

This place is top tier. It's not just a cut above your average takeaway. There is nothing average about it. It's so noticeably better than any takeaway or restaurant serving this kind of food. It is a wonder they don't have a sit-down restaurant or more locations. They must love what they do as they do it so well. All of the awards are so well deserved. Am I saying this for bigger portions? No. They're huge anyway. Am I saying this in the hopes they'll pour their liquid gold that is their Chili sauce down my throat? No. That's a weirdly specific fetish. But it has to be tried! We usually drop in on our way back, but tonight we had it delivered and it was still amazing. I'm sure they have their secrets but their cooking is so tasty it makes other places seem lazy. The heaviest of scrans. Yeno tha!

I can only comment on the chicken.. I'd definitely eat their chicken filet burgers again! The fries and what I believe their own made chili sauce was delicious. The sauce - was a unusual texture BUT was lovely. Friendly staff Thank you

Worse kebab I've tried in Liverpool. Too expensive and portion is not worth for the money. Salad is bland. Even after asked to add some sauce, no sauce put inside. Not recommended.

Best kebab shop I've ever been too in my life, since I went I've never gone everywhere else. Here multiple times each week and NEVER once had a bad meal.

Every thing about BOTAN is great ive been going to this kebab house 30 years and its always been spotless ive drove a taxi in liverpool on nights and days ive seen the staff at the end of the night scrub the grills the counters refrigeration and floors before going home after a long shift they always happy to see you and serve you quality food

Easily the best kebab I've had in Liverpool. The flavours used are great and the meat tastes like good quality. Really good, I wish I got a large instead of regular, i exepected it to be heavy (like lebabs usually are) and it wasn't. Really nice

Had rude behaviour from the staff. This used to be my usual and fav plab for kebab, but today a staff was very rude and was about to charge an £1 for sauces that usually comes with kebab. I don't mind an extra £1, as long as you treat your customer with respect amd tell it upfront. When I asked he was like oh, you cant have 3 sause seperately ( didn't mentioned bfr). Finally I asked him to take one back.No apologies, didnt even asked which one to take back either. Iam never going back there Please learn to be professional and trear your customers with respect!

Was out with friends for Soundcity event in Liverpool. Came across this great doner and burger place. Food was tremendous. First doner in 30 yrs but not my last.

We went for a takeaway after our night out. Mustafa and Ozzy were so nice. They gave us free chicken nuggets and a free chicken piece. Made our night!!!

Food and service is usually great when you walk in, but don’t bother ordering via Delivery services as you don’t get anywhere near the same portion sizes, quality of food or customer service. Food arrived cold despite delivery only taking 10 mins to get from Botan to dropping it off with us and somehow was like rubber. They then forgot to put pitta bread with our kebabs and to make it worse they then said we could get a taxi there and back and they’d give us the pitta bread, they wouldn’t even give us fresh kebabs as replacements for the others going cold and asked us to take them with us so they could throw them in the bin! Summary: don’t bother ordering via delivery apps as it might as well be a completely different takeaway you’re ordering from!

The service from here is disgusting!!! I can’t believe how they speak to their customers. Food was completely undercooked and when I rang them to tell them they couldn’t care less. They also missed off an entire kebab, who forgets that. Can’t believe how much they charge and send food out like that. 10000% would NOT recommend! So rude to me on the phone too and was even swearing. Horrible!!

Polite staff,Garlic/Sweetcorn/mushrooms and Chicken pizza Garlic base alsome, I was stopping in the Premier in down the road and love it so much, I h Bought it over too nights because I loved it so much,The only downside was I bought a Kebab there wrapped it up in paper a a bag so it would be kept warm ,bearing in mind the Premier in ,is a few minutes away, it was tasty but was cold.

Never had bad food from here, always really well cooked. Large chicken kebab is always a winner; chips, cheese and curry is a close second. Staff are sound :)

Over a long weekend, as a group of friends we ended up with late night kebabs from Botan a few times! It gets really busy, which is a good sign. They cook everything as and when ordered - really tasty, fresh and flavourful! Excellent!

Just a terribel experience. Old unfriendly man working. I asked for some sweetcorn in the kebab, but not possibel, even they have it and use it for other dishes. I asked for medium spicy kebab, but he just get irritated and put on different sauces. Taste on the kebab was very poor. Pizza very greasy and just awful. He put old fries in and mixed them with new he made. So even the fries wasnt possibel to eat. Avoid!

Donner meat tasted fake, definitely the worse I’ve ever had. Took an hour to be delivered and was definitely not worth the wait. Small portion of chips and meat on pizza was of the lowest quality. Would definitely not recommend

This place has been my go to on Uber eats for the last 6 months. I usually have the vegetarian kebab which is full of grilled vegetables..The serving is huge, I usually order an extra pitta to fill with the veggies that fall out of my kebab. The food is always warm and their chips are also pretty good.

Used to come here after a night out and it's been ten years since my last visit. Had a really decent large lamb shish kebab. Loads of meat, salad with plenty of sauces, I actually couldn't finish it and the red salt on the chips was great too. Only complaint is the bread, it's either pitta or a tortilla style wrap, for this kind of price I want a decent fresh flatbread or naan.

Thought I’d try here when I was in Liverpool never again. Bought a large chicken and lamb kebab got about 3 pieces of lamb and thigh looking chicken pieces. Cheese garlic bread was soggy .Oh an the tahini sauce was bland. Terrible gaff don’t waste your hard earned money.

First visit and I was very impressed, 10 out of 10

This is one of the best Kebab Houses in Liverpool. The service is great, and the staff know what's what. The prices are a little higher than some places, but you do get what you pay for. The portions are fine but it's the quality that really shines. You have to get their warm, "home made" chilli sauce if you get a kebab from here, and I'd highly recommend the kofte, but to be honest there's not really anything you could go wrong with. The kebabs come with a choice of a wrap or a pita. The meat is fresh, and tender, and most importantly tastes fantastic. So many places rely on condiments to compensate for the meat being lacklustre, despite what I say about needing to try the chilli sauce, the meat definitely holds up without it. The location is perfect too, I'm very much looking forward to popping in on my way to get a taxi home after a few pints, when it's nice and safe to do so.

I love this place! I live round the corner and eat here often, every time we have been the place is immaculate, always clean. The food is great, nice meat, charcoal style grill and some really good sauces.
