Great place, went here for a birthday and they delivered. Food was great, and atmosphere was lively and enjoyable. Staff were all friendly and you could see all the food being made. Only thing is when busy is a little cramped but other then that a great restaurant. Definitely will be coming back.

Bosphorus at Earlsdon street is perhaps the best dining experience in town. Absolutely amazing food and service. The staff is excellent, very friendly, and always smiling - even on a very busy Friday! The experience from the bread with the dips, to the mains, and tres leche and baklava is top!

We attended Bosporus Istanbul Restaurant as a party of 18, it was the second time we have eaten at this restaurant and can only say what a wonderful dining experience we had, staff were excellent and the meals faultless, nobody in our party had one complaint, will definitely return..

This is one of the best restaurants I have been to with my family, the quality and quantity of food was outstanding and worth the price. They give you free starters, my favourite being the fresh bread. We didn’t have to wait long for our food despite it being a bank holiday. The dessert was amazing and the staff were very friendly. I am so glad I have found this place which is off the A45 hence close to solihull and Birmingham. I will be definitely going again.

One big disappointment instead of tasty dinner

This place just knocked it outta the park! We were a group of 14 people with some very large orders, not only did they accommodate us, but were extremely patient with our questions and repeated inquiries. The food was exceptional, of all the Turkish restaurants in Coventry, this one exceeds high above them in portion sizes, taste, cleanliness and kindness. The other facilities, such as the bathrooms and tables, were all in clean and great condition. Overall, this is a gem of a restaurant, I highly recommend their services.

We have just been for a lunch with our eldest and it was excellent, food and service was really good we had the platter for 3 and with the Meze to start, it was a substantial amount of freshly made food that really was tasty and well cooked and came in at about £20.00 per head which was very good value bWe will definitely go again.

Really good quality wholesome Turkish cuisine. Lahmacun and cold mezze prepared really Well. Mixed mains were cooked really well too. Staff were attentive and were quick and welcoming. Would recommend to anyone wanting quality food and service.

Thought we would try this out but instantly regret this decision. Service was awful from the female waitress, looked like she didn’t want to be there and spoke in a disrespectful manner. Food was wasted as Bone found in Lamb Donner meat and chipped my tooth. Food is bland, will not be returning.

Great Turkish atmosphere and food. A bit pricey but worth it for what you are getting. Portion sizes are quite big as well. Plate for two could be good for a family of two + 8 y.o. child.

Very disappointed with service and waitress very moody. Food came out mixed up & didn’t know whose dish was for who but made to feel it was our fault as the customer for not knowing the dishes..2 meals never arrived. Chaos all round & a very unhappy birthday girl who never got her food. Will not be returning in a hurry. Shambles trying to pay the bill as large group of us. Birthday celebrations Ended in tears. However discount was given but difficult to know who it benefited as took off whole bill & all paying separately.

Ordered delivery totalling £36, all the food was freezing, the lamb beyti I ordered came with no rice despite the picture showing a lavish serving with rice. Very disappointed.

Went today evening and had: 1) Chicken shawarma wrap 2) Chicken Beyti Both were really good and we enjoyed the dish. Suggestion: Little crowded so better to book before going over.

Big portions on the platters, although the team were very helpful once available the service could be a little more attentive when they're not as busy. Overall definitely recommend.

Only ordered a chicken shwarma, easily the most expensive I have had, and nowhere near the best. OK, so I am comparing it to the Levenshulme Bakery in Manchester, a takeaway place. However, it is not much more than half the price, twice the size, and much tastier. £7.50 is too much, it just is. The place was rammed, so they are doing something right, but it looked overcrowded, and therefore not a place I would use for a sit down. The staff were working really hard.

What can I say, just an amazing experience from start to finish. The food, atmosphere and hospitality is always to the very highest standards. We have been dozens of times and we are always made to feel so welcome. We can't rate highly enough. You will not be disappointed 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Visited on 1st of April. We ordered a platter for 2, mocktails , turkish tea's and mixed baklava's. Food was served very quickly and was full of flavour. Mocktail was Tasty and looked very nice. The baklava was fresh and had plenty of filling inside. Overall I enjoyed dining at this restaurant and would recommend to friends and family. See you again soon.

Amazing food, all the waiters are kind and always ready to help out. Sometimes it can get a bit louder as so many people love the food but it is more than tolerable.

Went here with my mum in March 2024. Mum had liver for her starter and I had the avocado and halloumi salad. She loved hers (I can’t comment- can’t stand liver!). Mine was delicious, very fresh and herby. See photo. I only ordered one main course because I thought it would be enough for two and actually it was more than enough- 4 huge lamb chops with rice and salad. Delicious tender meat and fresh salad. I saw a server walk past with a combi plater which was enormous. The portions here are huge. After we ordered, the server brought us warm bread and dips, which was unexpected and appreciated - excellent quality. Honestly, I wish this restaurant was near my house! It doesn’t serve alcohol so BYO. A short but good selection of virgin cocktails including mojito and pina colada. We arrived around 7 and were lucky to get a table for two, it was packed. When we left at 8:20 there was space. A very good addition to Earlsdon high street.

Staff lovely Mixed Meze Starters delicious Main courses- lamb shish tough and inedible-with chunks of bread in the dishes -awful Restaurant deducted these meals from the bill. Maybe we picked the wrong dishes but disappointed with our visit and food Much better restaurants to eat in in our collective view.

1st time visiting... sat downstairs, unfortunately cold and drafty as doors keep opening when people pass... service ok , felt alittle rushed....ordered the lamb which felt chewy....price was reasonable was my only plus... prefer the other turkish restaurant in earlsdon.

We came from Leeds, you have very rude stephs. It is not suitable for a party at all because everyone said not to make noise. Very poor service for everything. We did not come to the mosque for the mourners who told us not to make noise and turn down the music!!! The owner of the restaurant was a liar and rude. We were very upset, it was not worth the money we paid and we will never come there again. And we will not let anyone else come there.

We had booked the restaurant for a party, but unfortunately, neither I nor my guests have ever had such a bad experience. The owner of the shop regularly sent someone to tell my guests to be quiet and finally told us in the middle of the party to leave the restaurant if we had to. We had reserved the upper floor for a party and we did not expect such an encounter at all. It was a very horrible experience that I had never experienced anywhere else and I felt very embarrassed in front of my guests. I am sure that neither I nor my guests will ever return to this restaurant and I will not recommend it to anyone.

Really enjoyed the food and atmosphere. However overall the experience was spoiled by the restaurant's automatically opening doors, because the place is so busy, with people queuing to be seated, the door stays open a lot of the time, so a large part of the ground floor is very cold depending on the weather. So it was kind of like eating in a cold windy bus depot, which really spoiled the evening.

Lovely food, plenty of it, good value, and good service. Although the restaurant doesnt serve alcohol they are happy for you to bring your own. Staff were helpful and freindly, and the place was clearly popu;lar with the local Turkish community. Well worth a visit, and look forward to going again next time I'm there.

Went on Saturday for dinner, was one of the busiest times at the restaurant but the staff was very kind enough to accommodate our family of 9. The food was exceptional and ended up with some turkish tea and amazing desserts. Outstanding service and I will be coming back again!

We went there on Saturday the 3rd of February 2024 with our family and friends, 10 in all and had an amazing time dining. The food quality, the service and the ambiance were all top notch. Because of the quality of food the restaurant was jam-packed and because we went without a booking we had to wait for an hour, but the waiting was worth it. The food was tasty, scrumptious and fresh. For those who want to go there need to reserve their seats in advance and on weekends finding a parking slot is a problem.

We have been there twice and thoroughly enjoyed the meals each time. You can take your own drinks with you and they will provide you with glasses. Excellent experience.

Gastronomic Turkish food, attentive and generous service, and a wonderful atmosphere with soft lighting, quiet traditional music and beautiful furnishings. The menu has a large number of offerings for any time of day, and the desserts are absolutely to die for no matter how full you may be by that point! The tea is as moorish as you’d expect Turkish tea to be and the baklava is some of the best I’ve ever eaten. The sharing platters are exceptionally hearty - you will not go hungry! Such good value.

Asked for a table and they were Fully booked, but they said they did a take away service. There was a 20 minute wait, fine!. Whilst we stood waiting for our order we noticed they were seating people who had just turned up, same size group as ours and larger? We didn’t mind as we’d ordered our take away by now. 20 minutes came and went and we asked how much longer and a few minutes later our order was ready. We got home and the order was completely wrong with items missing. It also looked awful, watery rice (we didn’t order rice) stringy fatty lamb, x1 salad for two and it was a bit of lettuce and grated carrot. I called to complain and they asked me to walk back down to which I said no, they kept saying they were too busy to talk as had customers - what was I??! They’ve asked me to come back tomorrow to give me a voucher. After this terrible customer service and poor grade food I’m not sure I want too.

Delicious food very reasonably priced. Lovely place to eat out - we have been several times now and it is consistently good. BYOB keeps the price down so we will be going more often during 2024. Staff very pleasant and welcoming. Highly recommend this Turkish restaurant. On-street parking not usually a problem. Comment re the restaurant being cold (in another review) only applies to the area immediately by the door. Lovely to see the kitchen area with the chefs working and their in-house made desserts are excellent. We order a Baklava for one person and you get 3/4 pieces with extra pastry forks! Turkish tea a bonus too. Large upstairs area suitable for groups and parties.

A fantastic restaurant with delicious food and friendly staff, warm and cozy environment. The service was superb we didnt wait long for our orders. The aubergine and minced lamb kebab and Kunefe as a dessert are recommended. Dont forget to order your turkish tea at the end. Will definitely come back.

Delicious and reasonable Turkish food. Big portions so, great value. A good vegetarian spread, halloumi, a variety of Salads and sauces, etc. The only issue was the that the upstairs was freezing, it just didn't warm up. Downstairs was fine.... What a fabulous restaurant, we booked a table for 4 for our Son's birthday and from the moment we arrived the staff were fabulous & so welcoming. The food was amazing and so much of it ( infac we even took food home to save wastage ). I can't thank the staff enough for a wonderful evening and highly recommended a visit and value for money.. Some of the best food I've ever had. The portions are massive. Nice modern building and friendly staff. The restaurant needs to set up a proper @bosphorusistanbul.co.uk email address and use a subject line in their emails -- their reply about my reservation ended up in my spam folder, which almost caused a problem. But that is the only fault I experienced.

Everything about this restaurant is beyond outstanding, the staff treat you like royalty and are some of the warmest most welcoming people I’ve ever met, the atmosphere relaxing and decor stunning the food is sensational and the portions could feed an army with ease, they even encourage you to take home what you can’t manage to finish, to reduce wastage, this restaurant is absolutely fantastic and cater for everyone including fussy children. Would recommend this to anyone and will be returning again myself, thank you so much for a wonderful evening.

Staff were good, food was ok, had a selection of bbq meat, chicken was very tasty but the other different meats were not very tender. Also it was cold in the restaurant.You will need to keep your coats on and sit away from the automatic door. A screen next to the entrance would help.

Decided to try the recently opened (four months) Turkish restaurant. It is one of five such places in Coventry. I was made to feel very welcome, the owners and staff were very chatty as it was fairly quiet. Had the Helloumi cheese starter, lamb and chicken shish and a glass of Ayran for £23.45 which I thought was a good price to pay. They do not have a alcohol license but people had brought their own and were provided with glasses. Need to return to try the pizzas and some of the sweet sticking desserts. A lovely dining experience.

To be honest we went there for Turkish breakfast with my two kids and wife and we were so excited that finally we can have proper Turkish breakfast In Coventry, unfortunately we were so disappointed with the breakfast, simit was cold, they forgot to bring olives and we had to ask if the olives are included in the breakfast they apologised as they forgot (how can you forget olives) there were two types of cheese one is the kasar and the other one is cottage cheese, there were no other type of Turkish cheese as you can see on the images or video as they post on instagrams, the sigara boregi (spring rolls) was cold and uncooked, bread was cold and seems like it was left over from a day before, ordered some turkish tea and the second turkish tea came in the same glass they did not even bother to change the glass, overall not worth it all, as a Turkish person we have high expectations i know that but at least just provide us what you post it on instagram or never ever get in to this business if you do not know how to serve Turkish breakfast
