The donner was amazing, I would love to have it again *****

The food is always fresh I eat here when I go in the city centre, for the moment is closed,probably holiday,I haven't seen any poster outside saying that, I hope it will be opened soon,the food is great,I won't comment about the prices,when you want good food the price won't really matter,i spend under 20£ for me

Love this place, but the last few times I've tried to go it has been closed. It would be nice if the owners could update the listing to show if the closure is temporary or permanent.

I love everything they have especially their chilli sauce, best sauce ever.

High quality service, staff is very good, friendly, smiling. There is an oven that's the good thing, the bread for the doner is baked here, so delicious it multiplies the taste of the doner kebab. Lahmacun and pide are available too through the oven. I tasted doner this time but I will try lahmacun and pide next time, together with traditional Turkish ayran. I am really sorry to say that kunefe needs imrovement despite its fantasticly enriched pistachio, the balance of the temperature between the syrup and kunefe was quite lost.

There was a lot of chicken skin in the chicken doner and the feathers were not plucked. Be careful when eating doner here. I wish it was better as it's a bit more expensive than usual but disappointment.

Deluxe Donner Kebab Meal with Chilli and Mint Yoghurt Sauce... better than the German Donner Kebab nearby, also Portion size is good for the price. The menu could do with some new dishes being added.

Did not enjoy their doner kebab but the turkish ice cream and baklava made up for it.

Really nice place, food was excellent and the dessert was fantastic. Recommend for anyone who wants a Halal meal for lunch or dinner, or for a dessert too. Really nice

This was our first time going “. Explained through certain items and the food was quick to be served and was delicious. The Turkish tea and baklava was the highlight and staff are really friendly. One suggestion is that the sauces are served in sachets which I found inconvenient

I love this restaurant literally whenever I got time I go there with my family, also my 4 years old daughter loves to go there she liked the stuff there all of them are kind and friendly welcoming and the food is always fresh and tasty I would recommend this place for sure

Travelled from birmingham to this place to try the donner it was quite under cooked prices were high not worth it at all nothing like the real turkish donner shops won't be visiting again

i love Turkish food and this place does amazing food at very reasonable prices.it ticks the boxes for every thing.good food.clean place.lovely friendly staff and the variety in the menu.even the dessert section has a lot to offer from Turkish delight to Traditional Turkish Ice cream.Highly recommended

Brilliant food and really good service

Overcharged & overpriced. As it was my birthday, I promised my colleagues I would get them some nice baklava as a treat. I used Alaturka before - the owner Ibrahim was very polite and professional - to buy baklava, which was ordered beforehand as it’s made in Birmingham and it was simply delicious and rightly priced. Today Ibrahim was not there so I asked one of the gentleman working there, if I could buy a tray of baklava. He said they have them ready in the back and he only needs to add the pistachios on top. He brought the tray and said it would be £24 per kg! I’m like that sounds steep but I made a promise so I went for it. For the whole tray he charged me £62.80! I’m like, why is it so much and he said it is extra £10 for the metallic tray it comes in but if I bring it back, they will give the £10 back. Anyway, I get home and my partner opens the box the tray was in and we discover that the tray and the baklava is frozen! Seriously, £62.80 for frozen baklava! Never again. Although I appreciated the owners customs, I will never be going back again, apart from giving them their tray.

Worts Kebap Ever, ordered Deluxe mixed kebap meal chicken kebap was dry and meat kebap worst taste ever could not finish it they should stop serving this doner kebap immediately

My daughter had been here for a meal and said how nice it was and she took the two mums and one dad for a Mother's Day treat. What a feast. The food was delicious and plentiful. We had all sorts of meze and some delicious mains. The staff were very nice too. Also must comment on the lovely clean toilet. Would thoroughly recommend. Sorry I've reviewed the wrong restaurant

Food was damn good and the baklava was insanely good

One of the best takeaways in Coventry, go here quite often and the service is great, Usually have the Chicken Rice box meal and that is plenty, always piping hot and the fries are always crispy and never greasy. Also try the chicken lahmacun it tastes great, my friend always has a Turkish tea with his meal, which is great for finishing your meal off. They're also running a loyalty promotion where you get your 6th meal free which is a bonus when the food is so good, will be back again soon!

Went to Alaturka Doner Coventry tonight. I had the chicken burger being the first time at the restaurant. The food was delivered fast to the table and the staff were friendly creating conversation and genuinely cared about the quality of food and customer service, and therefore from my experience I rate it very highly. In terms of food, the chicken burger was amazing and took me by surprise. The chicken was cooked well throughout and was full of flavour. The bun was soft on top, middle and bottom, and seemed toasted somehow. Therefore, giving a crunchy texture which adds to the flavour along side the chicken. Looking away from my table, I see a couple with two children, and saw staff asking them if their meal was okay, if there was anything they could do and showed genuine passion for the experience they provide in food quality and also customer service. Then, I saw the owner come over to say hello, and engaging with the couple, and also gave the children toys. My first experience with Alaturka Doner Coventry was amazing and I would highly recommend, this being the reason for 5 stars 🌟 To conclude, if your looking for somewhere new to eat, or a new style of food with a twist, then Alaturka Doner is the place to pinpoint your interest. In addition, it's a great place to take the kids, with an enjoyable atmosphere.

We had the family special and it was very well priced with large portions. When the food came we was shocked by how much there was! The kebab was nice and juicy

Portion sizes aren't that great for the price, nothing special tbh. This has absolutely nothing on the kebab shops here in North London

Placed an order on Uber eats. When it arrived several items were missing. Contacted Uber eats who refunded the money. 10 mins later the manager from Alaturka knocked on my door apologising profusely and handed me a bag with the items and also added in some baklava and feta rolls. Coming to Coventry from Leicester and I looked for a place to eat and this came up !! The food was very delicious The staff where very welcoming (Ola Zielinska) They took care of ourselves as well as the kids I recommend this place to anyone in Coventry and to others Passing by ! We will definitely be coming back

Had Donar salad and baklava here. As someone who has been in many Turkish restueant, this was not the best baklava and they were not fresh.

Took 30 minutes to make 3 servings of tea.

My daughter and I stopped for dinner as I had heard that the Doner meat was made with fresh meat and not the usual pigs lips and lambs tails etc, which I will not eat...I was not disappointed. For £8 each, we had a full meal with a drink, salad and 2 dips each. I chose the mixed meat donor and my daughter had chicken. Chips were served as a side and the whole meal was delicious.

Ordered 2 deluxe kebab meals with separate salad.Salad was missed out and kebab was warm almost cold I rang and explained.I did get a apology.And said that I could have a 1 free meal next time we ordered.Very poor service no mention of returning with salad or changing the meal.Waist of £20 food in the bin.Would not recommend

Both my husband and I had Hives/Urticaria after eating Lahmacun with mincemeat at alaturka doner. I had to be seen by a doctor as I was badly affected and the rash was all over my body. It’s a shame really!

It’s a shame I went in this place about year ago before the pandemic the food was really good and the price was reasonable for three chicken donor I remember we paid £20 but unfortunately I went in today the same food cost me £28 and didn’t taste right I don’t know if this is a new management but the last time we went in The gentleman was really nice he made me and my family very comfortable while is eating him I don’t often leave my review if it’s the same management on the real get to see your hospitality has gone down the food wasn’t worth £28 I was so upset why I waste my money shame

If you're looking for a good kebab then look no further! Came here for the first time and had a salad box with chicken kebab with two different types of yogart dip as a meal. Well all I can say is it was an explosion of flavours in my mouth absolutely delicious! All the staff are friendly, helpful and polite. The restaurant area is comfortable with good decor. The facilities are very clean. Good food good service good price and even got a free tea! 😁

Excellent kebabs and very friendly staff, but the ice-cream is the reason for the mere 4 stars - good but not excellent. The chicken is tender and tasty and the fries are hot and crispy and the staff members are always polite and friendly.

Tried here for the first time today and I wasn’t disappointed, opted for the elite meal but the portions are huge so would opt for deluxe next time. The salad came separate and was so fresh. I think I have just found out new place to visit for a kebab

Food is really good here it's always hot and very tasty. We always visit the store on Lower Precinct Coventry it's always clean and the staff are very friendly. Aliya has served us a few times and always gone out of her way to give us fantastic customer service if it wasn't for her good service we might not come back as often, she always remembers are order and offers us Turkish tea. We don't normally leave reviews but we felt she deserved it for always giving extra!

The girl at the counter seemed frustated with her job, got angry when I asked to change the paper bag carrying cold drinks , as the paper handle worn off and left in my hand.the bags were not strong enough to carry the stuff .the girl however started blaming me that I was not carrying the bags in the right way. Worse customer service.

I order for my family - wife and 2 little kids 2.5 and 6 years old - family meal for 21.99. We had 2 normal kebabs, kids kebabs, 8 dips in total, 4 portion of chips, 4 drink and baklava to finish off! Even got offered turkish tea free at the end of the meal! We even taken some food home as it was too much for us :) Meat was delicious, donner and chicken very tasty, we will definitely come back, for 21.99 its a bargain for family! Staff are really friendly too. Ps. My advise get some little stands with order numbers so the waiters dont have to go to every table and ask if this is the number... See You soon! This is the best place in Midlands for Kunafa, we visit from Birmingham just for Kunafa.

We saw the article about this place on Cov Live so decided to try it. We went on a Friday evening and really enjoyed sitting outside… was a bit like being on holiday! The food was great - best kebabs we’ve had in ages. Salad was fresh and tasty, coffee was strong. A really nice meal. And the staff were all very friendly. Would recommend this place.

After reading the Article on the Coventry Evening Telegraph Website I decided to order a Kebab from this Take Away and I have to say it was excellent, the way it was packaged and the food itself were excellent, so much so that two of my friends have also ordered from here on my recommendation and they also enjoyed the food. 👍

It’s well located just in front of the mall. It’s a Turkish fast food concept and the place is clean & tidy when we visit. The staff is friendly during order. It’s good order is all freshly prepared and my husband just wanted a quick light lunch and it’s perfect. Reminds us of our visit to Istanbul, Turkey! The friendly chef / owner even came out to have a chat with us and ask about the feedback. We enjoyed our visit and for sure will be back again when we come to Coventry.

Absolutely disappointed of the place! The staff was rude and the quality of the food went down. I can't believe right now they are charging extra for salad , before the salad was coming with the meal. Definitely the place lost me as their regular customer. I still don't understand how the place is still open and working. Don't waste your time and money to go there.

Absolutely horrible! For the price you get half a kebab with tasteless meat. Whoever leaves 5* reviews for this must be family or friends! For £4 kebab you get more bang for your buck! Avoid!

Food taste is great. But Lacks in sauces and it is well overpriced. 12 quid a kebab which isn't packed full of meat and then give you packets of mayo. No way value for money. Chilli sauce is also dead.
