Wedding party was an absolute success the staff were brilliant, the food was fabulous and excellent venue.

Had another wonderful Sunday Lunch here today. Its a carvery with good choice of meats and vegetables. Everything is hot, well.presemted and clean at the variety station. Lovely atmosphere to eat with family or friends

We had an amazing day and evening at my Nephews wedding. It was a beautiful setting with stunning scenery, so l know the wedding photos will be wonderful. The wedding service venue was set out beautifully, seating and decor, classy and elegant, and also overlooking the lovely veiws. We made the most of the indoor and outdoor spaces. Evening entertainment was fantastic with a great DJ, who was only too happy to play all those requests! Perfect day and special memories made.

Surprisingly good! The service was great, as was the food. Went here for a family party and everything was lovely. Fab view too. 😁

Went today for Sunday Lunch. Food was really good in terms of temperature, flavour and choice. Disappointed for menus to state price of £2 more per head on all options in comparison to what it says on website, as I had compared a few places to go online. Service was poor, no welcome or explanation of service, even though staff weren't busy. Staff seemed lacking in training and or supervision. Overall disappointed.

Nice driving range, quite a few bays so one is always available when I go, even on the weekend. There is a little cafe on the range which sells food that looks and smells fantastic. Parking is free and there is a lot of it, the only negative is that balls are on the expensive side

A delicious chicken filled korma with rice, poppadoms, naan bread and chutney. Good service, good price .

I have played golf there for 15 years and enjoyed it very much. Lovely 9 hole and 18 hole to play and good food after.

Amanda and her team were great! From the first contact to enquire about the booking to the team who helped our event run as smoothly as it did - all fantastic. Everything was set up as we had asked for, the food and service was excellent. The staff were friendly and helped us with any requests we had straight away, which made our event run smoothly and stress free. All our attendees commented on how good the venue, food and refreshments were. Thank you so much!

We have held two recent events at Boringdon Park. Both went very well. The location is perfect. with ample parking. The staff couldn’t be more helpful (thank you Adeana, Richard and Tom) and, as always, the food was amazing. Everyone commented on how nice the buffet was, great selection and fantastic quality. We also had a chance to pop up for the Sunday carvery. Delicious! Highly recommended!!

Great value driving range, turn up and play!

Just been to the driving range my first time since it was taken over, very enjoyable they now have a computerised tracking system which is really good the only problem with it is that when the person in the adjoining bay duffed there shot I went on to read out.

Excellent service and lovely cream tea

Really disappointed. Came here for easter lunch today for a 3 course meal. It's been booked for months. Expectations were high given where it was etc but fell flat from the get go. We guessed where they were holding the event, no sign posting or anything. When we walked in, nobody came to us. I asked a member of staff what we were supposed to do and he just looked at me and directed me to the bar like an idiot. Waitress took our drink order and than our starter. The starter was tiny. 40 minutes later we were told we could go up for our carvery. We werent told where to go. We have never been here before. We did not rate the food at all. The turkey tasted like it was boiled in water and the veggies had no flavour. Given the food, the wait and the service (a lot of the staff were miserable), we decided against having a desert. We were greeted with a bill a lot higher than it should have been given there were two children and we paid a £60 deposit. I asked if I had an item bill I could look at and was told he couldn't print it out so I had to take the total at face value despite knowing we were being charged over at least £20. Will not be returning.

I went as part of a family group for Sunday carvery for my sons birthday. The restaurant is very light and airy, there were 8 of us and we had a lovely big round table. The carvery itself was delicious with an excellent selection of vegetables . The puddings were homemade and also delicious. .

Went for new year was alittle disappointed this year .didn't seem to have the atmosphere food ok. singer not good DJ only did request didnt seem to flow with records pone minute rock next slow Dancing No party poppers or balloon at midnight yes got a drink on arrival &at 12am .staff friendly worked hard shame won't be going 2024 ..

Food well presented and tasty. Staff friendly and helpful. Beautiful setting Well worth a visit This year the food was exquisite, melt in the mouth Beef ❤️ Staff smiling and so approachable. The best range of non-alcoholic drinks I have seen and tasted. What a wonderful experience!!

We had our club's Christmas lunch here. The whole meal was excellent - Well presented and cooked. The vegetables were baked and particularly good. All the staff were thoroughly trained and always looking to be helpful and exceed expectations. Thoroughly recommended.

Surprisingly good service with so many people there not just us but many more groups. Bit noisy but friendly and good for a work do.

Went here for Christmas work party,second year running wow even better than last year service food. All staff at every level superb.

Attended a charity event today, although it was a bitter day outside it was as bitter cold inside, even though we were told the heating was on, which was not true as we later found out the heating was broken, other than that the event was good,

Went to charity ball here so food was pre-ordered. Starter and main lovely but my dessert was a big let down. Weirdest Eton Mess I have ever seen or tasted. Overall nice venue with lots of staff and reasonable bar prices.

Nice course, well maintained. The 9-hole Estuary course is a "real" course - 3 par 3's, 3 par 4's and 3 par 5's. Great to play after work until the light goes.

Used the function room on a few occasions and the food has always been good and staff polite and obliging.

My wife and I went there last Saturday for a 70th. birthday party. A good time had by all.

Visited the driving range for the first time. Only been open a short while. Really good set up with Toptracer software. Lived it. Guy behind the counter really helpful. Place has a nice atmosphere. We'll worth a visit! 👌

Ok, saw joey and the lips. Firstly food was nice although very slow service which I always find when eating at this venue. And secondly the main band did not appear on stage until 10.15 which was rather late.

Me and my now husband had our amazing wedding reception at Boringdon on 1st June and I cannot recommend this place enough. Amanda is just amazing at what she does, so accommodating and bought our vision to life, she cannot do enough for you, puts your mind at rest and goes above and beyond. The waiting staff, the chef, the bar staff all played a huge part in making it one of the best days of our lives. THE FOOD, 10/10 I’ve attended weddings at other golf clubs where the food has disappointed beyond believe so to say I was nervous going into the day about this would be an understatement but I couldn’t have been more wrong, the food was incredible, both daytime and evening, I had guests saying in the days that followed just how impressed they were. The most perfect day and Boringdon are to thank for that. Any future events this will be the first place we think of! Thank you again for your amazing service.

I am currently a member great 18 hole and 9 hole golf courses not had any experience with the function side here but have seen a few while playing golf they looked great nice bar and friendly staff happy to help they also have a range facility which provides lessons if you need them would recommend if you want a good game of golf or a function for any event.

Went to a Charity Ball the food was very good and hot!

Great night and very well organised went to my wife's awards evening, cannot fault the staff the service was faultless everything went so smoothly. The food was excellent even saw some ideas to try on are Sunday Dinner. The staff went out of their way to make sure everything was spot on Well recommended if you are looking for a venue for a wedding or awards ceremony 🙂🙂🙂🙂

Unfortunately they didn’t tell us about the back nine! Temporary greens and some greens had been aerated and the plugs were still all over the greens. Poor show. If we’d know we’d have gone another day. Interesting course. A few blind holes with no marker posts and thick rough so ball not easy to find. One set of bunkers had ponds in them, deer tracks and droppings!

Excellent very helpful hopefully all goes really well with their renovation usually Carrey very larg and well equipped stock

A palatial golf club with excellent restaurant

I went into the club for the first time, for a wake in the green room. There is plenty of space, and a door that took you out on the grass so that was very pleasant. The coffee provided was gritty but drinkable. Nicely presented and topped up. The buffet was generally good. Although, they labeled pasties as meat but were in fact all cheese and onion much to our surprise. On the whole a lovely location. And delightful fresh cakes and biscuits. Yummy

We booked our Christmas meal for Dec 2022 . We had our own table of 10 people . The atmosphere was amazing with Live Band music . Great food and service was outstanding. I would highly recommend to anyone.

Nice venue for parties. Prices at bar not too bad either. Disabled parking needs repaint as only possible to see once you walk across by it. Various function rooms of different sizes and configurations but not labelled in any way to get to. Saw people entering from 3 different entrances to one room because of this. Overall pretty good place (and i was attending a wedding reception)

Lovely room with amazing view, buffet for 25 of us. They seemed bit short staffed but the food was really tasty and freshly made.

Whether I go to Boringdon Golf Club to work, or for an event, I'm always greeted with a multitude of smiles and warm wishes. I have attended weddings, business meetings, conferences, business shows, networking events, quiz nights, party nights and so much more here and it's still my all time favourite venue in Plymouth. I highly recommend this venue for anyone looking to hold a conference, event or business meeting. As an added bonus the food is EXCEPTIONAL and the staff an absolute dream. I'm not a golf player but have heard that the course is one of the best around. Nick, Jon, Amanda, Adeana, Scott and the rest of the team you're all brilliant!!!

Been twice now for hugely busy Dinner/Dancing events and they have 100% aced the service, the food and the venue looked amazing. Super fun night!

Played the 9 hole course and was amazed at how great the course was kept and that there were 3 par 5 holes, its a great 9 hole course that is kept to a very high standard. Will be back to play the 18 very soon.

Very good Sunday lunch definitely worth another visit

Boringdon is a great venue and situated in a fabulous location with views out over Plymouth and the sound. I've been to Boringdon hundreds of times for business events, quiz nights, black tie dinners and weddings. The staff are really friendly, Nick & Jon are really helpful. Started attending other events at boringdon and they have been really well organised from Proms to networking events and charity dinners

Very well maintained with stunning views over Plymouth

We were here for family wedding. The area for the ceremony was nicely decorated and not over the top. The reception area was laid out well and as it was an afternoon wedding there was a cream tea after the ceremony. There was plenty of food which was generally very good and nicely presented however the sandwiches must have been prepared much earlier in the day and were curling up and dry at the edges. There was a problem with the microphone which initially was echoing so badly that the speeches couldn't be understood when this was sorted the microphone kept cutting out so not good! The evening BBQ was very good. The location is excellent with plenty of parking and wonderful views over Plymouth sound.

Slow service not enough chairs for our booked party dessert order was incorrect.

This was last year! Lovely staff and wonderful food. Great views on the golf course. We visited again this year (july 22) what a difference staff were unhelpful the lad serving us was not good. He said just as we were seated could we hurry up and get our meals as they had a big party coming. I could leave my 2 and 4 year old at the table so the rest of us could go together and be quicker. No childrens options now just a smaller portion! The carvery was not great chewy meat with little flavour over cooked veg and watery gravy. Think school dinners are better!!! My 2 year old was given a glass with a big chip out of it! My disabled aunt went to the disabled toilet and the support hand rail fell off the wall! It was lucky she was only using it for balance and not putting weight on it. When we told the young lad he said I let some one know! He didnt even ask if she was ok. She was in a wheel chair! They didnt do a thing about it!!! Very dangerous. What a shame the place has dropped to this.

Decent course, quite challenging for a high handicapper. Priced fairly with a good shop too.

Went after a funeral, they catered for 150 people, first class, staff were very Friendly and helpful.

As it was fathers day .I was treated to Sunday lunch .staff very friendly. Dress code .is there one . One excessively wobbly table . Table 19 . This must have been are first moan about food he since it's been open . Not much taste to that was served. Beef my son and wife commented. How chewy. Did not eat .vegetables bland .lost of flavour . No the best as it always been .

Excellent golf course prviding challenges to golfers at all levels. The course is manicured to a high standard by the ground staff; the club house and pro shop staff are welcoming, friendly and professional. Well wort a visit.
