A large place, very good burgers, nice music and a typical Irish atmosphere. There are a lot of people on the weekend and it's hard to get a place, so it's a good idea to make a reservation in advance

I miss the corn ribs they were an amazing non potato side 😭 I do love the nachos though.

10/10 would recommend the "Big Daddy" burger!

Really annoys me giving a bad review to any Belfast establishment because I know that plenty struggle. But peeved at what I think was a bit of a cheap hand take Bootleggers spun last night. Picked up the bill for a group of us that came to £237 and happily added a 10% tip because in fairness the food was great. Upon checking the bill again this morning, the bill was already inclusive of a service charge. And yeah, I should have been more attentive to the bill, but I’d expect most places in Belfast that include a service charge, out of a sense of being dead on, would highlight to a customer that a service charge had been added when they then add another 10%. Our server didn’t bat an eye, and happily ran off with their extra money without saying a word. A shame, because could have easily been leaving a good review here. But won’t be back on principle. In this part of the world, honesty probably trumps how good the food is 👎🏻

Monday Nights in Belfast - I was looking for a family oriented place for dinner. Trip Advisor sent me in the direction of Bootleggers and they didn't get it wrong. It doesn't look family oriented from the outside, noting some places in Belfast won't allow children but this was a great option for dinner. The tacos were delicious and service outstanding! I only thought to take photos of the beer!

This place has been so lovely to dine at; staff are lovely and bought all our meals and drinks on time. Would recommend as they also have an outdoor heater which also was nice! Food came in big platters. Only thing some foods seemed over priced others underpriced which was confusing but all tasted lovely nevertheless.

Menu bit confusing pricing / meal sizes but nice food. Nachos is huge

Food was very bland and boring. Neither of us finished our meals as they were lacking. Disappointing, for the prices.

Stopped here to get warm and decide on dinner after doing the Game of Glass walk. We ordered drinks before looking at the menu which very standard bottles of Cider at £5.40 each. The menu was limited and disappointing, nothing traditionally Irish which we really wanted on our first night in Belfast so we moved on to find something a bit more to our taste.

Wow. So impressed popes in for a light lunch and was blown away with the food. Staff were fantastic. Would strongly recommend.

Food and cocktails were okay, tater tots were really nice. Spot is really vibey, great music. Staff were really helpful

Friendly staff and good atmosphere. Unfortunately the vegan tacos were really tasteless, had to drown them in hot sauce ti give them flavour. My partner had a burger and said it was okay.

Okay mad men ikke så god service. Vi blev bedt om at vente i baren på et bord, men måtte til sidst bede om et bord igen.

We came in on the 26th of December and were told that the wait for a table would be about 30 minutes, but in reality we got sat in about 15 which was great. The food was amazing, especially the parful fries, they were BANGIN. Would definitely come back once we’re in town again :)

Fantastic spot, managed to get seated outdoors quickly, they allowed our dog a place on a bench, the out door seating is covered and heaters for each table is nice. Outdoor menu of finger food is good and great selections of drinks also

I've always loved Bootleggers. Food is awesome, atmosphere is super, especially with the live folk playing. Cosy spot on a rainy day, class on a sunny day! Staff are always lovely too! Some spot!

My first time but not the last. Considering it was a busy pre - Christmas Saturday evening all the team service was amazing. Food was absolutely delicious too. Overall a great experience which all of us enjoyed.

If you're looking for a good burger without forgetting a good Irish beer in a local bar then this might be the right place. We stopped here by chance for dinner and loved it. There was live music that night and the staff were very friendly.

Called in for lunch while out Christmas shopping. We found using the app for joining the queue to be very useful and straightforward. Meant we could continue to look round the shops while waiting for our table. Food was tasty, just found the portion size of the loaded fries to be on the smaller side when you consider the price. Overall a really enjoyable lunch.

Not a place to go if you are English. They will give you double the wait time. I guess some places in Belfast can't let go of old hatreds

Maybe the coolest place I've ever been? Perfect vibe for a bar. Good beer and cocktail selection, and some pretty epic burgers. Brownie served with a pot of molten chocolate sauce.

The lad that served us, was so friendly and welcoming n even had time for a chat. Lovely lad, didn't catch his name but lives in lisburn, n went to uni in Liverpool. Pleasant lad x

Me and my girlfriend moved out here in April and this was always our wee date spot. We love it. The nachos are to die for. The service is next level and I really advise anyone to go to Bootleggers!!

Service is very good. If you are looking for american food, this is great. We were looking for Irish food, so only had drinks and left.

Had a lovely meal here. Great food ,live music was brilliant and staff were lovely. Only reason why I gave a 4 instead of a 5 was had bother getting water for the table had to ask several times.

Awful. Toilets we disgusting, with the smell of urine. We ordered tacos and dirty tatters. The Baja taco was like a fish finger wrapped in a tortilla. Shop bought salsa and coleslaw….very bland in taste. Only serve Pepsi. Don’t waste your money….if you want authentic food.

Pretty solid pub food. I had the chili tacos and they were solid. Beer selection could be a little more inventive for the area but there are safe choices here. My wife’s sweet potato fries could’ve been cooked more. They were floppy.

5 star. Vegan tacos were the best I've ever had.

As you enter Bootleggers you pass door staff then queue to be seated. We were taken to our table and our drinks order was taken. The majority of our group ordered burgers but I chose the Tacos and Mac and Cheese. When it arrived there were three tacos stuffed with pulled pork and salad filling. The mac and cheese was served in a tin mug. Both were tasty. The beers were a little expensive as compared with other bars but all in all it was worth a visit.

We stopped here for lunch one day- the service was fab, really relaxed and friendly. We ordered lots of bits to share, including the nachos, chicken wings and loaded fries. It was all really tasty but the nachos were amazing. They came in a big metal tub (see in pictures as it’s hard to describe) it was just really cool. They also gave everyone a whole roll of kitchen roll, which we found hilarious. Would definitely eat here again if In Belfast.

Nice casual restaurant for burgers. Milkshake was incredible as was the food. Lovely, polite staff. Would definitely go back. In a central location close to Victoria shopping centre.

Bootleggers is a must if you are in the Belfast area. I HIGHLY recommend the Mac n cheese dog. It’s a sausage, with Mac n cheese, chives, bacon and their house sauce on a giant bun. Those ingredients sound odd together but it was extremely good! We also got the Supreme Nachos and they were okay.

Love this place, it's my go to for something to eat when I'm in Belfast. Staff are fantastic, the food is amazing and the atmosphere is brilliant. They usually have live music at the weekend, it's a great place to go get some food and chill out with friends

We found that not a lot of pubs serve food after 8:00 p.m. in Belfast City Center but Bootleggers (which was right below our hotel) came through for us! My wife had a grilled chicken sandwich on a brioche bun and I had their fish tacos both were excellent! They also had my favorite beer, Brew Dog Punk IPA on tap and a good selection of wines for my wife and a very tasty dessert.

Came to Belfast for two days with the intention of trying lots of bars… we came to Bootleggers on 3 occasions because it’s that good. The staff are great we got some good recommendations and friendly chats. The food was 10/10 would suggest the mozzarella sticks they were really cheesy and melty! Burgers were everything you could want. Just overall a great vibe whether you want a meal or casual drinks😊

It was my first time and hopefully won't be the last. Great food, great service, great craic.

Amazing lunch here today. I got the Pig Out Burger and my friend (who’s vegetarian) got the About Damn Time Burger. Both were amazing, with great ingredients and large portion sizes. Best burger both of us have had in a long time. Their Crispy Fried Corn ‘Ribs’ were next level and well done. And they were flexible about doing a half an half sauce option. The Sticky Toffee pudding was next level. For me personally it’s probably the best I’ve had in a long time. It’s not overly rich. The texture of the pudding is fluffy and the sauce is toffee like without being overpowering. It’s the perfect combination. The atmosphere is fun. They play great music and the customer is perfect. They were friendly and funny. Accommodating and they hit the right balance with table service. Thank you Naomi!! I would highly recommend and would happily come back the next time I’m in Belfast.

The food is OK, but nothing special. The place is fun and the service is good. Portions are big.

We started our night here for some drinks and a bite to eat. Was really busy and told a 45 minute wait but a couple let us join them at there table outside as they were leaving soon. We ordered our drinks and they came quick enough. My gin and tonic wasn't brilliant but I think they were using diet tonic which I'm never fussed on but the girls enjoyed their cocktail tea pot. Ordered our food, 3 sides just to line our stomach for a night ahead. We waited over an hour for our food. Really disappointed, had to ask about 3 times, told the ticket was lost due to a lot of orders and told it would be with us in 10 minutes, another half hour later and another enquiry, our food arrived. The food was really tasty, I had the dirty tots which I could eat a bucket of but the hour long wait was really off-putting. £6.50 for sides is very very steep considering there were only 4 mozzarella sticks. Maybe just a busy night, these things happen but kinda expected some compensation as we were late getting to our next spot due to waiting for food for so long. The staff were lovely, good banter and friendly.

Horrible human being of a DJ who kicked someone over a song request which is 100% Within such an establishment. Never returning , wherever this DJ is playing as he an egotistical prick.
