Went for a skittles tournament, Great service, Friendly staff, was very busy but quick service, looks a good sports pub will return again for future events, good selection of beers and good prices, was a great day good atmosphere, would recommend to anyone,

Recently visited this pub with my disabled mother n law , we so enjoyed the experience , it makes such a difference to going out when access is so easy and what a bonus having a separate disabled toilet , landlady and staff so friendly and helpful , will definitely be recommending this wonderful place to other disabled people

Came for the final of the euros a fantastic evening with a brilliant atmosphere, nice to see families out enjoying themselves ! Staff where great

We visited to watch the football as a family , the atmosphere was brilliant , hats , face paints and head bands provided to all by the staff really helped create a great evening ! We will be returning again as we moved in locally and have seen on social media so fantastic events including events for children! Great staff and great beer !

Came for the live band ! Amazing night , Amazing atmosphere! Always feel so welcome and the staff are so great . Everyone was dancing having fun and enjoying themselves coming back for the singer later in the month . Some fantastic entertainment and hot food vendors in recent weeks . Really becoming more of a community pub now !

Great friendly pub and so welcoming ! Drag queen bingo was a fantastic night never stopped laughing . Some great events coming up over the next couple of months, Dog friendly is another bonus staff are always ready with the treats !

Great staff, lovely local, plenty of live sports to watch, with a good dart and pool table, good in the summer with outdoor beer garden

Play pool a lot here and always enjoy it. Karaoke is always a laugh too. Quiz on a Wednesday or Friday and always funny. Highly recommended!

Great pub. Came for the quiz and it was great fun. Defo recommend! Bar staff are friendly and a good atmosphere. Pool table was in a separate room but nice and busy.

Been in a few time now always made to feel welcome by the landlady and staff . Nice friendly local close to my family when I visit ,looking forward to coming back for the live band in February

Honestly all I can say is thank god we've got such a lovely Landlady! Zoe goes above and beyond and is the best landlady we've had by a country mile. She puts so much effort into organising different things in the pub where previous managers couldn't be bothered... kids Christmas/Halloween parties, Charity car wash, mcmillan coffee mornings, karaoke, quiz night.... the list goes on! Nothing is ever too much trouble. Fab selection of drinks at great prices. Never not felt welcomed by all staff. Lovely seeing new faces calling in the pub each week. 2023 was awesome and I only hope 2024 and beyond is better because she deserves every success for all of her hard work!

Really well run family pub, nothing is to much trouble for the staff, prices are reasonable too, looking forward to the events zoe and the team are planning for 2024 , Keep up the excellent work

My wife and I decided to have a night out before Christmas as a warm up for the big day with the family. We heard about the Boot & Shoe pub in Grassmoor from a friend. We are not big pub people but do like the occasional night out at a friendly pub that is not too rowdy. Happily, the Boot & Shoe was just what we wanted, a traditional pub with a good range of draught beers, a mix of customers of all ages and a clean and friendly environment. The pub was nicely decorated for Christmas and the staff were welcoming and happy to chat. We will definitely be returning in the New Year and I understand from the staff that they have a number of events planned that sound fun and family friendly.

Excellent customer service from zoe, Lucy and tge rest of the staff, always made to feel welcome and it gives off a super friendly atmosphere, dogs are welcome too which is a plus after a nice walk around the country park

We came today for the bouncy castle , we stayed longer than expected as the atmosphere was great , everyone was made so welcome including the children , The new land lady Zoe was great , the pub was clean tidy as was outside the car park was reduced to ensure the safety of everyone using the bouncy castle equipment. Was lovely to see the pub so busy , we will definitely be returning again soon

Absolutely lovely pub that serves a great pint. We had a brilliant time here and the new manager was wonderful as we're the staff.

The Boot & Shoe is a lovely little pub with a great friendly atmosphere. Kareoke nights are always a laugh too!

Nice friendly and welcoming place, new lady very nice, found to be very clean and spotless, poster saying dog friendly as well, will definitely be back in the future
