Very disappointing lunch very slow service, only one menu for four of us to look at, placed my order explaining to the waitress I am allergic to peppers so none on my salad , out came my lunch with peppers, also asked for a ham cheese and mustard and no mustard was on my sandwich, nobody came and checked on us after recieving our food and drinks , would not recommend this place at all!!!

Popped in for takeaway coffee. We hadn't been for years and we're sad to see this vibrant place looking less so. Couldn't believe that our oat milk latte was being made with non barista Tesco own brand thin oat milk. The coffees were like dishwater, no foam and neither of us drank them. It's so easy and not dear to get decent barista oat milk. We queried why they were being made with the wrong milk to be told, this is what we use. She wasn't interested. Training is needed here. Disappointed. What a waste of money.

Looks like a good place if you’re a local. Markedly different service for us as strangers. Food and coffee was ok. Cheese toastie still with unmelted cheese but cakes good. Service was miserable for us but very friendly to the locals. Best avoided if you’re a tourist. Also, tired sign outside needs cheering up.

It's a pity this cafe doesn't allow dogs inside. Both Greenacres Coffee Shop and the Quaich in Fochabers allow dogs inside. Also in Forres, both Chimes Coffee Shop and the 1469 Cafe welcome dogs. Since they are not in a food preparation area then it is not a problem. Boogie Woogie, please look around and think of what customers want. All of the dogs I've seen in the aforementioned cafes have been extremely well behaved and in fact better behaved and quieter than some of your humans. And, a further note, the seating pods you provide are cold, uncomfortable and not sociable as they are very separate from the rest of the cafe and not a welcoming seating option. Additionally the strip lighting you have installed into what was a previously cosy cafe give a harsh ambience and contribute to headaches.

I've been going to boogie for years and used to love the ambiance. This was a huge part of the experience as it was cosy, warm ,relaxing.Don't get me wrong ,food ,cakes, coffee still fab ,but the atmosphere is gone. New paintwork and flooring, all very fresh and clean but the strip lights are just awful !!Ive never seen this in a cafe.Owners please put some warmth back like it was before. Lots of people find strip lighting gives them headaches.

Enjoyed a lovely family lunch with great service. We ordered the Tractorman’s salad, the special of the day - a spicy halloumi salad, and an open toasted sandwich. Can’t believe the reviews on here dated 10th August. Same day we went. We only had a bacon and egg roll and a scone, tea and coffee. Couldn’t fault the food or the service. In fact best bacon roll I have ever had. Granted there is not a lot to making a bacon roll but I have had some terrible ones in the past from other places. This cafe was also spotless and very well set up for social distancing. Would definitely go back.

The place was full when we arrived but we were soon found a couple of seats at the end of a table which was fine for us. It took a little long to catch someone's eye to order but the waitress was very nice. I had a lovely bowl of soup with a good piece of bread and my husband had a chicken roll. The chicken roll was literally just that on a plate with no accompaniments at all. I think maybe these days we expect to get at least a little salad with a sandwich but it didn't advertise that so it wasn't a fault. It just looked bare!Overall though I guess it's a nice place to eat and there is a lovely gift shop too.

Maybe 817Margaret should have gotten both sides of the story, before delivering her speech! However, we've been visiting Boogie Woogie, at least once a week, for the past ten years; and always found the food, and the staff, to be wonderful. In fact, we've just booked lunch here today, for my birthday. They're suffering a little ffrom their own success - sometimes one has to wait for a seat (unless you've booked); and sometimes service is a little slow, but that's because everything is freshly made, not churned out.All in all, we recommend BW to anyone who asks - lovely little place - great food, and friendly staff.Mary and Howard

Recommended by locals, we were not disappointed by the food with excellent risotto, soups and sandwiches. The portions were generous, presentation was good and the staff friendly, when you got their attention. We had difficulty in placing an order, it arrived over a five minute window which meant some were nearly finished and some hadn’t started - we were a table of 5 which shouldn’t have been difficult to serve simultaneously? We had to ask for finished plates and cups to be removed and frankly, table service was sloppy. We tried to get a bill but in desperation we were forced to go to the desk and ask for it. Thankfully the visa/mastercard machine worked when held high in the air!

Called in for breakfast, good range of dishes. Went for the quesadillas - cheese and egg filled fried mexican tortillas topped with sliced avocado, tomatoes and served with soured cream - delicious, struggled to finish it!!

We periodically stop here for coffee and scones or sometime lunch when visiting family in the north. We cannot fault the food - their cheese scones are delicious, as are their soup and open toasted sandwiches. I also like to look at their gifts upstairs and dotted around the café, in the hope of finding a little treasure for as a gift for someone. A lovely place to stop for a break

Called in here today just before lunch menu started and had a really excellent innovative breakfast. Tortilla with egg, cheese, avocado, tomato and sour cream. Other half had a cooked breakfast like no other, crisp bacon, sausage, fried potatoes, egg, beans and bagel. Not at all greasy, all beautifully cooked. Lunch menu came whilst we were there and I can't wait to go to Keith again to try it.Top marks. We didn't have to wait long for it to be cooked. Service excellent too.

Visited for lunch on Saturday. A small but friendly restaurant which is very popular with locals and visitors alike. Thankfully we booked a table as it was very busy. Despite the number of people there, service was quick and efficient and the menu has something for everybody. The food was well prepared and very tasty. We will definitely go there again and would recommend it to others.

Stopped in past for a quick coffee and cakes. Was pleasantly impressed with the service, nice coffee and scones. Toilets were lovely, clean and fresh smelling too!

Gréât place to stop for proper coffee (the best in Speyside), snacks, and it’s right next to parking and a secure playground for the kids.

While staying at findhorn bay camp site we decided to try Pizza for a quick meal . We had ham and pineapple pizza , garlic bread with feta dip and finished it off with tiramisu. It did not disappoint, especially the tiramisu.Decent size of pizza , plenty for 2 of us with 2 slices left to eat later .Didn’t have long to wait .

Friendly staff, felt very welcome without being stifled. Lovely cafe with home cooked foods. We arrived in time for lunch service. Great selection for all. I had homemade Cullen Skink, best I have ever tasted! Ordered 2 children's meals too of chicken breast burger and Mac n Cheese. Deluxe hot chocolate was amazing, piled high in cream, Marsh mallows and chocolate. Very reasonable prices for home cooked food. Highly recommended. Busy place and rightly so!

Just one turn away from the Main Street a nice little shop. We had Crepes of the day with cheese meatballs and Panini. Nice people there, families with children and grandma.
