Boo in Preston

Our experience was amazing. I would definitely recommend going here the customer service was amazing. Amarpreet was serving us and she was very helpful and friendly and the food was spectacular. I will definitely be going back.

The service and food were spot on. However, the diner isn’t clean at all - I didn’t feel comfortable sitting in there so chose to get a takeaway and instead had to find a spot near the flag market to sit in.

Had a great experience so far. Best food and service from Boo. Staff member Sahista provided us a great service. I found she is really sweet and kind. Talks politely with the customer with a smile on her face. Meal was very good. Highly recommended.

Ordered two loaded chicken fries for collection at 8pm. Tolerated waiting another 15 minutes for the food however when took the order home, the car had a funny smell, opened it at home (live round the corner), not only was the food cold (unsure why I had to wait an extra 15 minutes, naturally expecting the food would be hot given i had to wait). When we ate the food, it was awful. The food, especially the fries, tasted funny and stale. I thought it was just me, so I had someone else try it and they shared the same thoughts. This place is terrible with customer service as it is. You have to wait for your food much longer than you anticipate and I thought it would be different this time so I gave it another chance, given its a weekday, the place was empty and they weren't exactly inundated with phone/online orders either. The tables are always dirty and never kept clean and the staff are miserable each time I have visited previously. Don't waste your time here. I collected my Iceburg order prior to this and this order was still hot when I reached home. I have never left reviews before but this place is a disgrace. Need I say anything further. I would not give any stars if that was an option. I'm not surprised given other people have shared similar sentiments. The owner should take heed of these reviews. He clearly hasn't!

My 9 year old loves it here, would rather eat here than McDonald's round the corner, probably healthier and cheaper too!

The food tastes good and has great value. The staff are always very kind. Free Wi-Fi and it's comfy, clean, and spacious inside.

Beef patty a little over cooked, but overall tasty, the salt is a bit on the high side but thats all a matter of preference, 3rd burger joint I visited during my stay in Preston to date, rank it 1st place out of 3, the fries where okay for my taste. Bun was good but avoid 3 patties if u want a balance between meat and overall burger build.

Do NOT recommend. Food was served cold, tables were dirty and the atmosphere was awful. We witnessed staff make my peanut milkshake then use the same nozzle to make my wife's strawberry milkshake. Do they have any idea of cross contamination and allergens

So I ordered online because I didn't want to wait around because that seems to be the trend here, anyway! Was supposed to be ready for 21:30, I arrived and was told "sorry we're closed" I beg your pardon mate! I ordered online, then they decided to prepare my food. Besides the fact that I had ordered online, they close at 10pm, they always seem to be under staffed, very frustrating. So I get my food home which is 5 minutes from the store, fries are warm but the burger is freezing, dry and burnt, was inedible and both burgers were left half eaten. What a disgrace, it's definitely the last time I spend my money here.

Amulya great service! Served under 30 seconds! Food out within 7 mins and served piping hot! 🥵 the new wings given was nice and bbq flavour! Need a little spice tbh, perhaps some chopped fine green chilli but each to their own! Overall loved it!

The place has a sleek and professional appearance. It is well-equipped with a thoughtfully designed layout. Ordering is convenient through the kiosk machine, similar to typical fast-food establishments. However, my experience with the boo burger - a 60oz offering - was less than satisfactory. Despite my anticipation, the burger did not meet expectations. The Angus beef lacked flavor and the temperature of the burger components varied, leading to an inconsistent bite. Additionally, the overall taste leaned towards the salty side. While disappointed as a burger enthusiast, I am willing to give this place another chance. Perhaps trying their classic burger will provide a different experience.

The beef burgers are some of the best I have ever eaten. The fries cooked to perfection. The restaurant is sparkling clean, and the service superb. Highly recommend.

I had two experiences with Boo. The first one was fair, but the second one was terrible. We ordered the chicken burger and the korean chicken burger. The sauces did not taste quite right as if they were rotten, the buns were stale and even the chicken from inside looked raw. We had to leave the sandwiches on the table and leave the restaurant immediately. The food is extremely overpriced for such quality and the waiting time is long. Never going to visit again!

Boo is a hidden gem for burger lovers! Their burgers are juicy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The fries are crispy and fresh . Also the cozy atmosphere and friendly staff make it a great place to hang out with friends. Highly recommend giving Boo a try!

I have chicken bites, and chocolate milkshake, it was soo yummy. I suggest everyone must try it.There was plenty of sauces and spices to add the flavour. The food was really quick and staffs were so friendly especially Mehfus🥳🥳🥳

Ordered takeaway from Boo-Cheapside, Preston. Very tasty, suculent, well combined burger( Big Boo). Had some ziggy fries with it and burger sauce dip. Great choice if you ask me☺️ and would recommend this place✨️

So, the food was good, the burger I had was good and a good size too but the fries were underseasoned. It was way too expensive for what I got. The tables were dirty, the little buzzer things you needed to get your food were missing. The staff didn't greet me or say anything when I picked up my order and there wasn't any music playing.

Totally shocking and unacceptable service from the Preston branch tonight. Placed an order on justeat, driver kept delaying delivery so rang the branch to ask - the lady was confused herself and stated there was nothing they could do even though the order was ready. Very annoyed and frustrated I drive down to collect myself to find the delivery driver sat OUTSIDE the restaurant whilst the staff were totally unaware. I questioned the staff and asked if they could hand over the food to which they stated it was up to the driver and walked back inside!!! Very unprofessional and unhelpful service from both Boo staff and the justeat driver considering how much I paid for the food. I’ve eaten from here previously but WILL NOT be returning again!

First visit and will be a regular going forward. Worth every oz! The OG classic was cooked to perfection, props to the chef! and portion size was just right. The flavour was amazing and I would highly recommend a visit if you want a classic burger full of flavour. EDIT : Very inconsistent service. After returning in the hope for another fantastic burger was left very disappointed by the service and competence of staff. My order took 30 minutes and we had to chase three times and was fobbed off. Upon complaining staff mentioned they were busy with online orders. This was very frustrating as waiting physical customers in the shop that had ordered well ahead of online orders were left hanging whilst they prioritised online orders. No matter how good the product is if you treat customers with contempt they won’t be returning and sadly this will be the case for me.

The food is not too bad, pretty much similar to all other fast food places. However the service is absolutely appalling. One of the worst I have seen. Staff have no interest in helping customers. I have made several visits, giving them the benefit of doubt but service with a scowl seems to be the theme here. If I could give 0 stars I would do

As usual the burger arrived barely hot. The fries almost stone-cold. The usual excuses re the delivery service-I will not pay nearly 20.00 for a burger and fries to wait over 1 hour 60 minutes to be handed cold food. Tried again and the same outcome-TOTALLY COLD BURGER because the delivery person cannot be arsed to ring a damn door bell. NEVER AGAIN -who the hell wants cold fries and a lump of cold beef disguised as a BOO BURGER,

I was just passing through for work, as a Hospitality Trainer, and happened to pass by Boo. Glad that I did. Daz, Sahil and the team (didn't get the others names) were amazing. They recommended the Boo burger and it did not disappoint. Service was amazing, great value for money and the food was so good! Recommend to everyone! Will definitely stop by again next time I am back in Preston.

Left disappointed with Boo. Burgers are no better than a McD Quarter pounder. Upgrade gets you chunky oven like chips and a basic can. All for twice what you pay at cheaper fast food places. No music (or people) when we went either. I wouldn't if I were you.

This place did not leave any lasting impressions, but I like the name. The food the is ordinary and without any novelty added by the author. I don’t like fries ,the sunflower oil is not very fresh. But staff good and positive .

State they are open till 10:30 but if you order at 9:45 they will not contact you and when you get there to collect they will inform you they cancelled your order.

Just eaten here with the family, chap who served us was brilliant. Very friendly place and food was excellent. Highly recommend this place to everyone! 5 plus stars from me!
