Went here with my wife. The guy was cooking bacon on a griddle and ignored us. We sat down but nothing changed until a delivery man arrived to take food away. Then, finally after 20 plus minutes the guy turned his attention to us. Did not apologise for our wait. I had scrambled egg and toast. This was OK. However my wife's bacon roll was not good. Bacon dry and too hard to eat. Tea for two was two mugs with a tea bag in each. So the tea was very strong. My wife visited the outdated very dreary loo. There was no music in the cafe which was dim. Dead plants added to the ambiance. At over £12 very overpriced. No tip! Avoid!

Popped in for a quick cuppa as the rain passed by. Not a lot more one can say but a friendly welcome was appreciated whilst I dried out a little!

I liked this place a lot prelockdown and felt everyone was really friendly but I since had a baby and have been twice with him and I felt a little unwelcome. The first time my son was very young so just started solids and I asked if he can eat something I brought with me ( none of their food was suitable at that stage) I was told...okay but its usually not allowed. I felt like this was a little unfriendly given the request wasn't that unreasonable and most other places are absolutely fine with it for a young baby. The second time I came with my pram and parked it at my table as best I could out the way of others. Immediately i was asked 'are you going to leave your pram there?' i asked if they had a place for it and they said no but can they move me to the door. I honestly felt like just leaving as the women serving me seemed a little annoyed and I was embarrassed. I ended up being placed right at the door with the pram jammed up beside me. It probably isn't the place to go if you have a young baby which is a shame as it is a nice option in town!

Went in for a quick cup of coffee. Had a bacon roll, too - GREAT roll. This place has a limited menu, but serves breakfast quite late into the day, and has sandwiches, etc. Very nice folks running it!

We have found the service and quality of food go right down hill in recents years, funny though the prices have went the opposite way. Last straw was a takeaway morning roll order that took over 20 minutes. When we suggested 20 minutes was a bit long to be waiting we were told not to come back if we weren’t happy!

Well run and organised serving the standard scottish cafe fare. Delicious strong coffee and one of the best bacon rolls ever. They just did it right, well cooked bacon and a really good roll. The waiter was constantly greeting people bringing food and very important now spraying everything. This place just does the standard thing well. Good luck to them in the future Great to see people who are honouring us by choosing this cold damp country and doing things just right.

A locals pub but a friendly one! We were there around lunchtime and it was quite quiet. There is a larger area at the back for dining but unfortunately the kitchen was closed on our visit (Monday) so I'd like to visit again on another day to try the food. There are some lovely historic details including beautiful stained glass windows. Spotlessly clean ladies loo.

Looked at Google to find a breakfast place on the way to the airport and found Stotties. Parked the car on the street just outside and went in. The owner, a happy and service minded man welcomed us with a smile. 2 latte and 2 breakfast rolls, one with bacon, cheddar and egg and one with bacon, potatocake and haggis on. Tasted lovely! Only 14£. Go to Stotties If you are hungery and want tasty fresh buns. Enjoy!
