My wife and I are both in our mid sixties. We went into this particular restaurant for a drink. We sat down at an empty table but were told, in a very brusque manner, that that particular table was booked. There were four other empty tables but were informed that they were all booked so we left. I returned 45 minutes later to find that all the supposedly booked tables were still empty!. I asked to speak to the manager and have since lodged a complaint. This is the second time that this has happened to my wife and I. On our only previous visit, we were informed that all the tables were booked, but as the gentleman told us he told two other young ladies that he obviously knew, to wait as he would find them a table. Blatent ageism it would appear. I am awaiting a response to my complaint.

Lovely experience we had! Bryony was an absolute gem!! Loved her to pieces!!! Always made sure our drinks were always full! She was the best bartender and server we’ve had here!!

What a splendid find! We came across this spot quite by chance when looking for a quick lunch. We had the most delightful warm and friendly welcome. The staff, Georgia and Steve, were both charming and ensured that we had everything we needed. When Georgia realised that it was a birthday, she produced a delicious brownie with a candle on top for the birthday girl. What a lovely touch and what a super surprise.

Food and our server were both amazing, great hospitality and good drinks. We were very upset to hear our tip wouldn’t go directly to the server, as it says on the signs on the table, but instead goes straight into the pocket of the manager. If we had known this we wouldn’t have tipped, as the manager didn’t serve or talk to us once and didn’t deserve the tip meant for our lovely server. We were also informed if you tipped online via the QR code you could not have this returned, despite it not going to the right person.

Great restaurant, visited on busy Saturday evening. Not the place to go if you want a quiet meal,but if you don't mind the hustle & bustle of people enjoying themselves this is the place to go. Good offerings for gluten free & vegetarian. Very friendly, knowledgeable staff.

Cocktails nice but pricey - am sure it was past 8pm by the time we ordered our first drinks but didn't get informed of the 2for£12 until the second round so £34 could have been £24. We went here for our wedding anniversary lunch and we are SO glad we did! FABULOUS experience, a real gem - from the very friendly warm welcome on arrival, lovely classy decor, gorgeous mocktails and delicious, beautifully presented food. The bagel stack, sweetcorn fritters, poached eggs, halloumi etc and lovely fries were amazing, as was the yummy dessert sharing platter. Very attentive service thoughout; we were even given a complimentary glass of bubbly each to celebrate our special day, which was a lovely, kind touch. Good value too. First time i have to put a comment on Google for a place.. We had a really disappointing experience in this restaurant. We booked a table for 9pm for food and drinks, arrived at 8:50, the waiter ask us to order straight away because the last order is 9pm so I wonder if we arrived on time we wouldn’t be able to eat ? He stayed there on the table waiting for us to order, it was really akward and embarrassing having to choose something on the menu while someone looking at us and speeding us, specially when you booked it before to be sure to not have those types of problems.. big logic and management problem. I can't believe the chef allowed this to go to the server. The server then allowed this to come to the customer (me)! That's at least two members of staff that thought this was ok to serve!
