Outstanding service and very good value authentic pizza and pasta dishes. Staff moved tables to suit and were very attentive.

A hidden gem. Stopped here for an impromptu lunch whilst out for a walk with family. What can I say? Service was second to none. Immediately found a table for 6. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble and all done with smiles on their faces. Made everyone feel special. Food was excellent. We had a selection of pizza, pasta and burgers and all were very well cooked, tasty and hot. So glad we found Bonnane Pizzeria. We will definitely be returning.

Excellent menu. Had calamari, pizza diavola and chicken risotto. All delicious, well worth a visit. Wine reasonably priced. Staff all friendly. Will go again.

This place is a little hidden gem and the staff are wonderful, the food was all freshly made and so delicious. I’m vegan and we asked the staff if they could cater to me on arrival, they were so accommodating and altered dishes to make them vegan for me which is absolutely amazing

Most amazing Italian food ever!! FRESHEST INGREDIENTS IN LONDON. I came for breakfast and dinner and I couldn’t of been happier with both! Huge portions for a very reasonable price , in fact I would say cheap for London for the delicious quality! Please be advised that most seating is outside and during bad weather the inside is usually packed because of its popularity. :)

11/10 stars ⭐️ I’m not sure which is better; the food or the staff. If I had to choose it would be 5/5 stars for food and 6/5 stars for Dino and his amazing staff. This is the best, authentic Italian in London hands down.

Lots of places in this area close down after 4.00pm - or are just bars/restaurants. Although the food and drinks we saw being served to others looked great, we just wanted a couple of teas/cold drinks to have a meeting before going to the GLA City Hall round the corner. We sat outside in the last of the autumn sun. Staff friendly. Would recommend.

So after a good long day at a conference at Excel, what we wanted was a fuss free meal with tasty food. Unusually for October it was a warm evening, with a beautiful early autumn sky; warm enough to eat outside. We left our hotel on the way to get the cable car to the O2, and as we rounded the corner the beautiful aroma of freshly cooked pizza set the tastebuds a twitter. It was early doors, but we were minded to stop and eat here if they could fit us in…this being a Saturday night. They could, so we abandoned the idea of a ride across the river. I have to say this is a friendly place…from the chap who showed us to our table, to the young lady who kept checking everything was ok, and the young man who took our order, all were friendly, smiley and welcoming. The food, well, the food was just what we wanted. Excellent thin crust pizza accompanied by salad, which we hoped would never end. But the ‘piece de resistance’ was the tiramisu, freshly home made it was magnificent, and the whole meal was good value too. All of this was washed down with an excellent Chianti, which perfectly complemented the Diavola pizzas we had ordered. Grazie mille for a fabulous meal and experience!

The restaurant was very busy and it was difficult for staff to move around. The service was friendly but the wait was long. It started raining so many outside diners piled in, causing overcrowding. The standard of food was OK. One of us had the chicken burger and one had a pizza which was rather charred. Didn’t have room for dessert and we had a misunderstanding over Sambuca coffee which was partly corrected at payment stage.

Note the entrance is 'around the side', so you might need to go seek it. We came here for brunch after checking out of the nearby Novotel. We had a Full English and a 'Vegetarian' equivalent. + 1 double espresso and a tea. I don't think tea appeared on the menu but it is available. Good for the price. The brekkos incl two whole slices of buttered brown bread toast. Tasty mushrooms. The grilled tomato was super-ripe and tasty. The place was friendly and the price good, esp for London. Star of the show for me was the espresso, outstandingly deep and rich! All in £26 incl Service charge. Will happily visit again when in that area.

In a sea of unfriendly and over priced restaurants in London it was so nice to have a genuinely lovely evening with my wife and son. Great food and delicious wine. Smiles all round

We stumbled across this place accidentally well walking to the Thames Barrier. We both had a fantastic breakfast of poached eggs on toast with salmon was great service. What an amazing restaurant to find near the Excel Center. Almost don't want to review it as it may get too popular. What this small cafe lacks in tables, it over delivers in personality and amazing food. Over a 6 day period - we had 3 meals there! The staff was accommodating, delightful and just fun. The pizza oven pizzas were thin and flavorful, the pasta was fresh and made perfectly and the appetizers were beautifully cooked (tried the calamari, bruschetta, Caprese salad and caesar salad).

We enjoyed a delicious breakfast here on 2 occasions whilst staying nearby. The food was tasty and served quickly. The coffee was delicious! Super friendly staff too!

We visited Bonnane Pizzeria after reading the positive reviews on trip advisor. We were definitely not disappointed. and were blown away by the concept and food. Went into Cafe Bonnane early on a Sunday morning for breakfast. Received a warm welcome and got a table for five in this cosy cafe. We had three Bonanne breakfasts a full English and a smoked salmon and eggs all of which were lovely. Two coffee’s a hot chocolate, freshly squeezed fresh orange and three cans of Diet Coke for £48 was great value for money - especially when comparing other local hotels and restaurants. Service was quick and the food faultless. Staff attentive and friendly. Will definitely be back when next in the area.

This little gem is right by the Royal Victoria Dock waterfront. Close to hotels, the Excel Centre and the Emirates Air Line Cable Car. We had breakfast, a proper full English for me and it was delicious. Very nice coffee which is important. The price was very competitive too. We avoided the cafe just around the corner as their full English was with turkey bacon!?? and beef sausage!?? which is just simply wrong. The Bonnane Cafe however was quite wonderful.

Down in London for a show at the Excel and went to the café two mornings. Breakfast was really good, lots of choices and made to order. Great coffee too! Staff friendly and very efficient. Definitely recommended if you are in the area; much better and cheaper than hotel breakfast!

We visited this cafe on two occasions this weekend. We had come to London to visit the excel. This place is fantastic value for money. Both the food and service was brilliant Highly recommend!

As you walk from the cable car to Excel there are several cafes in which to have breakfast. This one on my opinion is the best. Friendly and a good choice of food. Only drawback is that it is rather small hence only 4stars.

Had lunch here during an exhibition at ExCel. Easy to get to, staff were friendly and the place was clean. I had a jacket potato with tuna, with was massive and really tasty. While I was there I watched them make a baguette as well which looked amazing. Will come here in future when visiting ExCel.

I've been regularly to the two branches of Bonnane in the last three years, near Excel and Thames Barrier, and as long as they keep their level of quality (and prices), I will continue having some of my lunch there! The choice and taste of food are excellent, I have never been disappointed. The service is good too, especially the guy from Kosovo in the Victoria Docks branch and the beautiful young girl in the Pontoon dock branch, she clearly lights up the café. I recommend my favourite sandwich there: the chicken, bacon, avocado panini! Very yummy!

Me and my partner came for lunch as we were staying opposite. The specials were so good, we had chicken soup to start which was clearly freshly homemade followed by pasta for our main with a generous amount of garlic ciabatta bread.

We have visited on two occasions, both mid morning. The chef was really friendly, and the other staff very efficient. It wasn't on the menu but I asked if he would cook me an omelette , 'put in anything you like', I said. A few minutes later the most wonderful food arrived. My girlfriend ordered smoked salmon bagel with cream cheese, delicious. When we paid the bill, we were surprised how little it cost. We went back about two weeks later and did exactly the same. (Different omelette, but still delightful)

Visited London with my girlfriend (she treated me for my birthday) and we stayed on the sunborn yacht. As nice as the yacht was, it was a little pricey (£20 each for breakfast). We walked 5 minutes to Tesco express opposite the Emirates cable car and saw bonnane cafe and saw a sign £6.95 for a full English. The portions were not huge but definitely enough, good value for money especially compared to the prices in our hotel. Visited the cafe on both mornings of staying here and received great service each time.

This place is just the thing I was looking for! No frills, tasty breakfast (I had veggie but the full English looked delicious too) very reasonable in price and friendly service. I would definitely recommend and return here next time I'm staying nearby.

El servicio fue perfecto, el té estaba extremadamente caliente, así como a nosotros nos gusta, la cafetería está limpia y le da la bienvenida al personal muy amable, esta cafetería se encuentra a muy poca distancia a pie del Sunborn Yacht, muy recomendable.

Al hospedarnos localmente en un apartamento por 3 días, ¡visitamos esta pequeña cafetería para el brunch 3 veces! ! Muy ocupado con el volumen de negocios rápido y comida barata fresca lo recomendamos altamente.

I stayed at the ibis and fancied breakfast away from the hotel, a great cup of tea and bacon/sausage bap at a reasonable price, and all freshly cooked.They do now take cards.

Αυτό που μου άρεσε ποιο πολυ όταν πέρασα από εξω ήταν η μυρωδιά του μπέικον και του αυγού. Είναι σοβαρός λόγος να δοκιμάσει κάποιος αυτό που μυρίζεται. Ίσως το που περίμενα 10 λεπτά ήταν καλό γιατί μου τα έφτιαξε εκείνη τη στιγμή. Μου άρεσε πολύ και απόλαυσα ένα πρωινό μπροστά στο ποτάμι.

Had " brunch" here on a very sunny Saturday morning. There were four of us and we all had something different. It arrived at the same time,quite prompt. Full English,Caesar salad,panini and bagel. All very nice indeed and very reasonably priced. My only criticism,the waitress could have been friendlier. The chef was very accommodating and adjusted the Caesar salad to my daughters liking.
