Lovely milkshake and coffee perfect from one fussy coffee drinker. Lovely staff always friendly and asking if you need help. 5 out of 5 stars.

Fantastic warm welcome on arrival. Nice and clean and amazing service. Had a spiced pumpkin coffee and scone and my daughter had a chocolate cookie iced coffee and millionaire shortbread, all of which were really tasty. Added benefit of an ‘old fashioned’ sweet counter.

Bon Bons is my first port of call for any kind of treat for usually my grandchildren. Friendly faces/service and always putting safety first. Nothing is any trouble giving that extra special touch. Very helpful and wouldn't dream of going else where.

Always my first stop in Chester le street when I want a coffee. Staff are all covid compliant and very knowledgeable regarding there drinks. Great seating arrangements to help in these challenging times.

The staff are very friendly and courteous and we were made to feel welcome. The place is spotlessly clean, with sanitiser on all tables. Because each table is a booth there is no contact with other seated customers due to the high backs of the booths. This made us feel very safe. The booths can comfortably host a family of 5, we were 3 adults and 2 children and had plenty of room. All I can say is EXCELLENT!! Will definitely be my place for a cuppa in future.

went into shop to be told too many customers in to wait outside did so when a customer left went to go in to be confronted by male member of staff there is still to many customers in for him to then say to a lady behind come on in didn't follow social distance when he spoke to my son nor did any member of staff have face masks on don't know what male staff problem was no need

We ordered a pizza box sweet delivery as a gift on my daughter’s birthday. It made her day, both of my children LOVE Bon Bons, the staff are brilliant and it feels like a real treat to visit. I’d highly recommend the pizza box delivery as a special treat.

Gorgeous shop with a fantastic variety of sweets,cakes and treats. The owner and staff are amazing soo helpful

lovely friendly service signposted mum and I to Riverside Park which was good for us to see. Good coffee and took away some nice chocolate raisins too.

An after school treat for the children. On collection we took them to Bon Bon’s for a nice chocolate shake. It’s great they’ve reopened, there’s lots of clear signage and hand sanitizer on entry. You can get take out or sit in, it’s up to you. The sweet selection is really comprehensive too.

I have a cake business and needed a certain type of chocolate to go on the top. I messaged bonbon on Facebook and instantly had a reply to say they had them in. I went down the following day to be welcomed by such lovely staff who couldn't do enough to help. I will definitely be back. They have such a wide range of sweets, ice creams and more. I can't wait to try the ice creams!! Thank you again! Xx

This sweet emporium is THE best in the north east - by far. Great business operated by a lovely couple who love what they do. Such a wide range of sweets and treats which my kids go wild for. Even the big kids get a kick out of a visit. Good value for money and a service that is second to none! Recently ordered two massive boxes of sweets for the office to keep all my staff happy. It went down a storm!

Bought from this shop so many times. My grandchildren love it! Amazing selection of sweets and treats. Today i bought a sweet box and a piece of cake for my dad as a treat and he loved it. Lovely feiendly staff. Highly recommended.

Always use bon bons but since the pandemic we havent been. Pre-ordered a sweet box today and it was amazing. Staff are lovely and so welcoming. Everything is great value for money and the milkshakes are the best. Definitely the best place locally to take the kids & treat them

Times are hard for everyone at the moment, but when companies like Bon Bons can still continue to deliver fantastic service you know it’s the type of place you want to return too. We often pop in with our daughter pre lockdown for ice cream and sweets, when we found out there were open and doing pizza box of sweets we didn’t hesitate to place an order mainly because every time we go here it’s always friendly and service is excellent but also because we are helping local business!Bought some ice cream and pizza sweetie box our daughter absolutely loved the sweets (not as much as us adults) they where fresh and fantastic assortment of classics.

I can’t walk past this shop without going in, especially when I have my son with me! They do the best sweets, ice creams and shakes! Always great to see their friendly faces. We were over the moon when we discovered they are doing sweet boxes during lockdown. Great value for money, loads of sweets. I have ordered numerous sweet boxes in the past from other shops and they have not been anywhere near the quality that Bon Bons' is. Fab sweet selection and the quantity of sweets doesnt do photos justice...a real bargain for the price! Cant fault the excellent customer service either. I will be ordering all my sweets from Bon Bons from now on Thank You

I recently collected a sweet box from Bon Bons and wow it did not disappoint. The sweets were amazing, all my favourites. It was supposed to be for the family but I may have hid the box!! I sent a message on Sunday night with my favourite sweets and had a response immediately. The order was ready the following morning. The customer service is second to none and the quality of sweets was excellent.. no hard stale sweets in sight! Thank you so much. Will definitely be using you more.

We often visited bon bons when the shop was open, all of the staff are so nice, always time for a little chat ,and always very kind to my son.We arranged a delivery from them yesterday, very responsive, and quick delivery, as friendly as ever.My little boy saw the delivery van, and it was like Christmas morning again.Always happy with quality and value for money.

We love Bon Bons. We always make a trip there for my Son's birthday. This year, with 'lockdown' we were excited to hear we could still have our treat with their new delivery service, especially as today he turns 16. Waffles, cheesecake and milkshake Yum

Ordered a treat for my children during lockdown. There was a great variety of items available for delivery- we opted for survival boxes of mixed jellies and American fantas. Super fast delivery and everything was non contact.My children loved the surprise when the Bon Bons van turned up!

These guys must be hyped up on fizzy jellies because it took less than half an hour to order via Facebook, pay by internet banking and our delivery was on the doorstep before I'd made a cuppa to go with my Reeces treat! One very happy family! Will keep some for Thursdays clap for NHS so that we're the most energetic/loudest on the street, the extra loud bit is for you Bonbons you've made our day!

We ordered some sweets to be delivered to our home during the current Lockdown , they were greatly Received and made the children’s day , as they haven’t had any treats for a couple of weeks ! Delivery was very quick also ! Would highly recommend to all.

Today Barbara and Bob from Bon bons put a smile on mine and my girls faces, they have gone above and beyond, with a non contact delivery service, paid over bank transfer and delivery was delivered direct to the door. Even through his mask he gave us a smile through the house window.So you see even in the uncertain times ahead we can still get our favourite milkshakes and a very pleasent 'survival' box of mix up sweets. #staysafe. I enquired about purchasing a pizza box full of sweets as a treat for the staff on the ward I work on at the RVI. When they found out it was for the ward they kindly gifted it and would not take any money for it. This was a lovely gesture in the current climate where small businesses are struggling and one that was very much appreciated by all the ward staff! Thank you bon bons. X

Excellent variety of sweets new and old, shakes, ice cream, coffee and cakes also available, very friendly staff who are always happy to help. You only need to ask if you dont see your favourite sweets and they will be available the next day if not already in stock highly recommend a visit

Such friendly staff and such a wide range of products. Not just a fabulous range of confectionery but a lovely cafe area ; they make really good coffees and milkshakes

An amazingly broad range of high quality traditional & modern sweets sold here, from UK & other countries. Delicious hot food is freshly cooked & theres a wide range of particularly delicious icecream flavours/desserts and drinks. Despite its very best quality the pricing for all goods is extremely fair. There is indoor seating in this smart, clean but relaxing environment where staff are, without doubt the friendliest, most accommodating team I have EVER known. It is very disability friendly (I'm in a wheelchair but i never encounter the slightest inconvenience when I visit). Its also very child friendly. Everything about this shop seems to be marketed and managed around the best of the past, in terms of quality and a friendly professionalism, alongside the very best of the present regarding customer inclusivity and food responsibility. I cannot praise this shop, and its staff highly enough. Go there and you'll find it as much of an enjoyable social experience as you want it to be.

Staff are so friendly. nothing is ever to much! If they don't have what your after in store they will go out of their way to find it and stock it for you, and then find a way of getting in touch with you to let you know. They are also very understanding that toddlers do not want to sit still and are more than happy to interact with them.

I cant rate this sweet shop more highly all the staff are lovely and the range of sweets, ice cream and drinks is amazing. Both my kids always ask to go in for there treats as theres always there favorites available. Keep up the good work

You would be mad to leave Bon Bon’s without a shake in your hand... and a pick n mix in the other!!!

I'm diabetic type one so have to be careful about sugar intake, they have sugar free alternatives. This is the only 'sweet shop' that I know of who caters for diabetics <3 xx

Visited after going to Beamish before continuing on our travels. Friendly staff and lovely little seating area inside. We had ice creams - a small selection of flavours but each found something. There was also huge selection of sweets towards back and selection of shakes and hot and cold drinks. We were leaving just as schools had finished and seemed to be hit with many families - can totally see why. If in area would pop in as prices similar to what we would pay in our local ice cream shops and seating area was lovely.

The children really enjoyed their holiday treat chocolate milkshakes and I enjoyed some fudge cake with raspberry ripple ice cream.

My little girl loves it here. We always go here when she has a treat after school. The staff are lovely and they have a wide selection of sweets etc. I personally love the American candy stall. This place is just what Chester let Street needs.

Second visit due to having meetings in Chester le Street. First visit involved the young person I was with getting a massive unicorn hot chocolate. Thoroughly recommend. Visited again today with a friend after a meeting and was not disappointed. The cappuccino was to die for after a day without food or caffeine. The school run came shortly afterwards and so nice to see the kids choosing their sweets. To top it off the two ladies who serve in the shop are dead canny. Don’t live nearby but will be bringing my soon to be teenager for a visit.

The children really enjoyed their second visit and shakes. The Mrs enjoyed tea and cake and I enjoyed coffee and ice cream.

We called in here as a treat for my little boy who had fractured his wrist.

Upon leaving Beamish Museum, my partner and I wanted to cool down with an ice cream. Having only being visitors to the area, we googled the nearest Ice Cream Parlour and Bon Bon’s looked like our best bet. Was greeted with very welcoming and friendly service! We ordered two milkshakes which were made quickly and tasted really nice! Did just the job! Thanks Bon Bon’s!

My daughter Alice visits Bon Bon's on a regular basis, but this was my first visit. I was not dissapointed, lovely flat white and a beautiful scone. Milk shakes are stunning..
