Delicious antipasti plate with a side of Polenta Chips and nicely chilled glass of Rose. Service friendly, although it was quite busy so not the fastest, but for our leisurely lunch this was no issue. The Blackberry and Hazelnut tart was absolutely PHENOMENAL! Will definitely return.

Excellent fresh food. We had 2 brilliant pizzas and top notch polenta chips. Staff very friendly with a nice cider to accompany food. Would highly recommend.

I took my granddaughter to this restaurant as a celebration after she had finished her 'A' levels. We were welcomed by a member of staff and water brought to the table without us requesting it - very welcome on a hot day. I ordered a pizza with anchovies and granddaughter had spaghetti carbonara. We both thought our meals were excellent, freshly cooked and very tasty. The tiramisu was wonderful and so was the apple and pear sorbet, both hit the right spot. We will come again! A real taste of Italy. Well done to the lady chef.

Stumbled across this gem of an Italian, when out shopping on the Gloucester Road with a friend. I ordered pan roasted haddock with fregola pasta tomatoes artichoke pesto all done in an amazing oil sauce. Just gorgeous. My friend had the Atlantic prawns served in a garlic parsley and butter sauce (to die for) along with rocket and foccacia. Rachel our server could not be more helpful and was super knowledgeable about the dishes on their menu. Was able to sit outside in the sun. Was like being abroad. We will definitely be back.

Such good Italian food. Makes me feel like I'm on holiday every time I come here. By far the best place to sit in the sun and enjoy an incredible feast. Consistently excellent. Top tip is to have the afrogato for pudding (espresso + amaretto poured over vanilla ice cream)

6 work colleagues out for lunch - olives & forcaccia for all then pizzas and luiguini main meals - all agreed their food was excellent and all said would definately come back. Lovely waitress serving drinks and food as well. Other couples, young and old were dining then later on young familes for dinks and cake after school came in. Would I go back - most definately !!!

First time visitors, very pleased with our Italian breakfast here on Sunday. A tasty Bombolini with Pancetta & two perfectly fried eggs and some delicious Banana Cinnamon toast with Mascarpone - YUM! We also took away two huge slices of delicious and moist carrot cake. Would highly recommend this cute little cafe. Special mention to the young server (sorry I should have asked her name) - she was absolutely cracking.

We've just returned from a lovely relaxing family meal for 5. The antipasti were great for sharing as a starter and we all enjoyed our different mains from pasta and pizza to the hake fish. The sorbets and ice-creams from the specials board were a nice finishing touch. Service was prompt and friendly with a smile. Thank you to all the staff. We'll be back again soon.

The cakes were delicious, as was the tea. The staff were very friendly and the outdoor seating area was very beautiful. The only thing removing a star is the small hair in my cake and the metal teapots I burned my hand on!

My partner and I visited for dinner and was not disappointed. The service was absolutely fantastic and the waitress made us feel very welcome! You could tell the food was freshly prepared and tasted absolutely delicious! They also had an unreal selection of homemade cakes/desserts which they kindly boxed up for us so that we could take these away and eat later when we were less full! Would definitely recommend coming here not just for the food but for a lovely dining experience.

Disappointing - came here for dinner with a friend on a rainy night & were shown to a table which looked like an after-thought & was so drafty we had to wear our coats for the duration. We tucked into meat anti pasti to share for starters which was not really for sharing but easily enough for two then I had the pumpkin gnocchi which was truly awful. It was drowning in oil & really quite tasteless. Service average at best - we had to holler at one stage & with social distancing doing it’s damnedest to kill atmosphere everywhere a bit of chilled lighting would have been appreciated. It felt like we were having dinner in a staff canteen. Not cheap either so not massively recommended.
