Delivered on time however the quality of the food was very poor. Onion bajees were overcooked and inedible.Smallest Veg curry I have ever seen. Wont be ordering from here again.

Not sure about the nagative reviews about Bombay Spice but as far as mine is concerned, I have ordered many times and the food was always SPOT ON! Delivered on time and never been disappointed. I think sometimes people don't know how to rate foreign food!!

Hair was found in 2 separate curry’s, and in the rice. When calling to ask about it they were rude and said that it wasn’t from them as the chef didn’t have hair and laughed. Won’t be ordering again :(

If I could rate this place a 0 I would, but I can’t, so it’s a 1. We have ordered here multiple times before, but this time 2 of our korma curry’s had black hair in and the plain rice as well. When we called, the manager was extremely rude, he laughed and told us the chef didn’t have any hair so it couldn’t be theirs, I suggested it could be an animal hair and he had a fit, we were discussing a refund but he interrupted us and said he would send 2 more curry’s and hung up, we have thrown them away as we both feel Ill, won’t be ordering here again.

Had a vindaloo and plain nan and it was delicious.

On New Years Eve I ordered nearly £70 of food to be delivered at a set time.The meal arrived 1 and a half hours late and was bearly warm. The order was wrong and 4 items were replaced with other bearly warm dishes.I tried to call but was engaged all the time.I know NYE is busy but would like to have been kept informed.if I was served this in a restaurant I would certainly not paid a penny towards it.New Year’s Day I wrote to the restaurant and having not heard for 5 days I called them up. A man said they were busy and if I liked the next time I ordered I would get a 50% discount.Still not really happy as my original order should have been refunded I should not really have to order from them again to feel happier. On Fri 8th Jan I called to make an order this came to roughly £80. I mentioned my discount of 50% and was told I will get 20% as the order was more than the original order.I was told I had spent £40 on NYE and not the £70.The man would not listen to me and was continually speaking over me about wages to pay for staff etc. He would no honour the 50% so all my family received on NYE was a cold meal and £70 out of pocket. Don’t get me wrong on this as I support all businesses in Ware. Needless to say I will not be going back. I would not recommend this take away

Absolutely terrible waited 3hrs for food when it turned up it was luke warm ,the food itself had no taste ended up throwing it away and making a sandwich ,tried phoning to ask what was happening with order or to cancel it no answer from this place .Give this place a miss dont waste your money.

I've just ordered from bombay spice for the first time and have to say 'wow'. The driver was very polite on arrival, the food was outstanding and the flavours just melt in your mouth. The chicken tikka pathia was 10 out of 10, I don't usually order from here. I will be ordering again from now on!! Keep up the good work guys!!

This amazing takeaway has been our favourite since we discovered it last year. We've never had a bad experience at Bombay Spice! The food is not only delicious but the portion sizes are great too.

I have used another Indian takeaway in the town, but thought I would try a new one for a change. I was pleasantly surprised by my delivered takeaway meal, exceptionally well cooked and promptly delivered, I will be using this Indian Takeaway in future.

Never again! 3 hours later food still hasn’t arrived no contact made. Can’t get through to the phone. Had to drive to Neelakesh to pick up a takeaway which was amazing!

Never received the food ordered at 8pm it’s now 11pm. Couldn’t get through too their phone and they still have made no contact. Terrible!!

Looked the part, was quick, hot but just lacked flavour like sauce had been frozen and I turn lost some of its zing. If only nelikash delivered

Made an order at 6.30 and was still waiting at 8.45, we had phoned after the first hour and was told it was being bagged up, still no food, 4 of us tried to get through on the phoned but was constantly engaged, twice it rang and after a while cut off, so we made an order somewhere else. It actually arrived just before 9 and we told them we it was too late to take it away. So unfortunately had no food so we cannot comment on the food, but we can comment on the service as despicable and put their menu on the open fire, so angry and embarrassed as our friends had travelled a long way to come and see us.

Worst Indian I have ever had. Both me and my partner had our usual, and not nice at all. Not only did we not really enjoy the food, the driver was rude and continued to hold the door buzzer down until I got to the door, very annoying. Then went on to blame it on how hard it is to find our address? Will not be returning.

Order a takeaway from Bombay Spice and was very happy! Arrived really quick and everything was piping hot. Some of the sauces seem to taste similar, but as they taste great, we didn't mind! Highly recommended!

Was once the best Indian takeaway in Ware don't know what happened maybe a change of ownership. Onion bajhi over cooked. All curry's either cold or very flavourless. Chips for the kids undercooked. The best bit of the meal was the nann bread.

At time of review, this is my favourite take out Indian in the area. The quality of the food is excellent. I am yet to have one bad meal or been able to pick holes in one. I eat a lot of Asian cuisine and regard myself as well experienced to comment on it, and Bombay Spice gets the thumbs up. The only issue I have is on delivery. Ordering via Just Eat I have waited an hour beyond quoted time, but I believe that this is down to their success. If you can, pick up at peak times. Have also had occasion where the order has been incomplete (naan's missing on more than one occasion). Try, you won't be disappointed...

I ordered Lamb Korma with Pilau Rice and a Naan bread, proceeded with Onion Bhaji. It was all fine, arrived promptly and tasted good. It has a good reputation locally, sadly my Wife doesn't like Indian food, so I'm limited to takeaways!

We regularly order from Bombay Spice, and the quality of the food varies. I’ve had Madras curries in the past, and the sauce could be nice and thick on one occasion, or like dishwater the next. I now play safe and have something else. My partner has a nut allergy (fortunately not severe), and despite leaving the appropriate comments when ordering through HungryHouse, he quite often has to pick nuts out of his meal before eating. Therefore if you suffer from a severe nut allergy it’s definitely a place to avoid. With regards to timing, a few months ago, they used to arrive within the hour; often while we were en route back from the pub. This wasn’t a problem as we were happy for the food to be left in our porch for a short while. However these days, we can expect to add at least 40 minutes on to the expected delivery time, often much more. We have a limited choice of Indian takeaways through JustEat and Hungryhouse in our area - perhaps that’s the reasoning behind the poor service...?

Ordered takeaway on saturday night told it would be 1 hour. Over an hour later phoned to chase order it took nearly an hour and a half to arrive then when checking order they delivered wrong items and missed one item. Phoned to complain twice they did deliver items that were missed and wrong but was told the manager would phone us. No such phone call received. Such a shame as we've used them for years but never again!

I rang the restaurant to ask if they could make one with just spinach and cheese. They returned back after 25 minutes with another one. After asking for some specific, that I did not get. I have been using Bombay spice for about 15 year and I have never been disappointed. When we order our family meals(for 8) every dish has been excellent. I have had Indian meals in all the main Asian cities in the UK and none of them beats the Jalfrezi from Bombay. Phil

Food had no taste or spice at all delivered very quick which makes me think I was sent food cooked from the night before! No impressed at all wouldn't recommend it! So disappointed
