All staff are excellent but Sammy and Elvis absolutely are the Best! Food excellent Bollywood special is fab - perfect !!

Came for my Grandmas 75th Birthday. The food was beautiful and the staff were lovely especially Sammy. Appreciate the cake and baby Guiness shot!! Best curry house in Rotherham and South Yorkshire!!!

Me and my family went in for a meal the service was high class the food starters and curry was better then Gordon Ramsay this place should be on TV for the best food in the united kingdom

Fantastic food with friendly staff. What more could you ask for. We had four meals all great so tasty. Plenty of sauce, loads of flavour and succulent meat. We had a great night. Shout out to Sammy. Great service and loved his banter. Totally recommend.

Don't bother with takeaway it takes far too long, ordered 3 different curry's all absolutely shocking but the worst of all was the illuminous korma which was bright yellow watery with 4 pieces of chicken.

Normally a 4 to 5 star takeaway but last night the mrs had the worst curry she's ever had from anywhere. Straight in the bin. Hopefully this was a one off

Went for a birthday meal with friends that go regularly here, the food was very good, service excellent, nothing too much trouble and service was quick and efficient. We didn’t feel rushed even on a Saturday evening when very busy. Highly recommend and thanks to Sammy for his friendly service we will return.

Absolutely disgusting service from their staff talking to my husband and sister the way they did would not recommend if you are wanting a nice meal absolutely vile people.

Cheerful greeting on arrival. Drinks order taken straight away and delivered with the ordered poppadoms. Starters and main courses presented beautifully. Food was freshly prepared and there was an array of dishes. On finishing the two granddaughters were presented with bowls of ice cream. The owner came across to ask what we were celebrating and we told him our 40th. He returned with large shots of Sambuka for a toast. A great night with a fantastic atmosphere made more special by great service and a cheery and attentive owner. Thank you.

Came for a family Birthday celebration. The food was faultless. The staff went above and beyond with accommodating us all. We will definitely be returning!

We're quite fussy when it comes to eating out, but have been coming here for a few years and have always enjoyed the dishes. Staff are really friendly & attentive. The only issue we ever had was with booking online, but now we know that doesn't really work, we just ring up. Would highly recommend food here to anyone.

I had a great time at Bollywood in Wickersely last night with my nephews and nieces and their friends. The restaurant is tucked away near the co-op shop. Parking was easy. We booked ahead for a table for 6. We had a vast range of dishes between the 6 of us. I had a delicious mixed starter with onion bhaji, sheek kebab and spiced chicken with side salad. I had peshwari nan with chicken jalfrezi and pilau rice and saag aloo. All the food was delicious. The nan bread was out of this world, cooked to perfection. Staff were friendly and helpful without being overly attentive. We had 3 or maybe 4 rounds of drinks and the bill was just under £200. I would certainly go there again. Everyone had a great time and there was very little left over despite ordering vast quantities of dishes. The portions were perfect size so no-one was saying oh I'm full. check it out. we went on a Monday night and it therefore was not too busy which means you get your food quicker!

Date night with my son for Mother’s Day ….. Sammy was delightful , I asked for his recommendation on the menu and he did not disappoint , amazing starters , mains and outstanding service , the food was well presented and the restaurant is very clean and well presented I would like to thank Sammy for his service and helping me try new things the tastes were Devine We had 2 starters , 2 main dishes , rides and nans the price is very reasonable and very good value for money. Absolutely loved our experience here, food, service and price were all perfect and would definitely recommend. Have been for lots of curry’s but this maybe one of my favourites, I couldn’t fault anything. The restaurant has a really lovely atmosphere with lovely decorations for Valentine’s Day with friendly staff.My partner is very fussy but he loved it too. I had a lamb balti and he had a chicken bhuna, both were perfect.

Only indian takeaway I use .... had one blip a while ago . Now back to its best ... 👌

Really disappointed, we were out with family for a birthday meal . We had 2 children so booked at 18.30 to avoid people who may be coming across from the bars. There was a large party booked that were very loud, shouting some were swearing. It was so loud you had to lean over the table so you could hear the person sat across . When we asked if anything could be done about the noise/ language we were told ' it's Saturday night luv, they're on a birthday party' . On that note and after quite a wait it got worse so we asked for a mains to be boxed up and our bithday celebration was ruined. To top it off they missed 2 people's dishes , didn't label it up and some dishes had chicken separate to sauce . Non of us will return and it's a shame because we used to get take out from there.

Had a takeaway. Delievery good. Food was ok, but seemed a little processed and illuminous sauces!

Too noisy it's probably OK for younger groups out for a heavy night or eating after a heavy day not so good for those wanting a quiet enjoyable meal.

Edible but not enjoyable, I ordered butter chicken but I’m pretty sure it was a can of Heinz tomato soup with the smallest amount of seasoning on it. My partner ordered a Dhansak that was extremely sour and almost inedible when this dish is usually sweet and spicy. The onion bhaji’s weren’t bad but they were spicy which was not advised. Finally the garlic naan looked shop bought snd had the smallest amount of garlic oil ontop. Overall very disappointed in the food.

Just back from a Birthday meal with my wife and family a group of 4. We arrived in for our 7pm table and had starters at 8pm so quite a delay by a large group who left after 45 mins. Main was delivered within 15 mins which was fine. Food was good but the staff had booked in a minibus of people who were very drunk and very loud. No attempt was made by the management to quieten them down and the booth behind us left within 10 mins and went next door. We paid , left early & complained to the management who seemed oblivious to the problem. A very disappointing evening and I can’t say we will be back . Reception was full of couples looking for tables and waiting . Why oh why would you book in a large group that are hard to control when you can fill the place with couples. It truly was an appalling example of how to run a restaurant and given the circumstances and the fact we noted our early exit and bad experience we were charged full price which I think tells you everything you need to know about how Bollywood value their customers. You should be ashamed of your performance and lack of respect for the fellow diners.

Past few months we have started ordering our takeaways from here. Yes you pay more than other places but the food is well worth it. Always delivered earlier than expected, always piping hot, and tastes delicious.

The watier Sal gave us exceptional service and went above and beyond to cater all our needs. He was well dressed and came across very polite and approachable and with his beautiful smile it brightened the evening more for us. 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰

Having read some of the take away reviews I thought I'd throw in my two penneth. The food arrived 20 minutes earlier than stated, it was hot and everything including pickle tray, poppadoms, garlic nan and butter chicken curry were fantastic. I thought it strange there were negative reviews because eating in the restaurant is always fabulous. So there you go an excellent takeaway service which I would highly recommend.
