Boho Utopia in Manchester

Ambos visitamos este establecimiento el domingo 26 de enero a las 3. 10 PM. Al llegar, nos dijeron de inmediato que el servicio de comida se había detenido, lo cual estaba bien, ya que habíamos hecho el viaje específicamente a Boho Utopia solo por un poco de pastel, ya que habíamos escuchado cosas buenas de algunos de nuestros seguidores. Ambos pedimos pastel, y nos dijeron que tendríamos hasta las 3. 30 para comerlos. Pensamos que esto era extraño, ya que el horario de cierre figura a las 4 pm. Fuimos a pedir un chocolate caliente y un café, pero nos dijeron que la máquina de café estaba siendo limpiada y retirada por el día. Al sentarse con el pastel, un nuevo cliente ordenó un Americano sin reparos. Pensamos que era extraño, ya que incluso si la máquina de café estuviera funcionando nuevamente, hubiera sido bueno que me lo dijeran. El suelo estaba resbaladizo, las mesas pegajosas y, en general, no nos impresionó el servicio. Nunca hemos dejado una mala crítica, sin embargo, el ambiente estaba completamente apagado y no fue agradable para nosotros dos, ya que inmediatamente nos sentimos presionados desde el momento en que entramos por la puerta. En general, la comida en sí (una tarta de bizcocho de caramelo y una tarta de copos de maíz) estaba bien y la volveríamos a comer, sin embargo, no estaríamos preparados para hacer el viaje como lo hicimos esta vez. Tal vez en el futuro, si viniéramos antes por más comida, nos sentiríamos diferentes, sin embargo, estábamos justo después de un café y un pastel el domingo por la tarde, así que nos sentimos decepcionados de que no hubiéramos podido tener una expresión agradable aquí. Ambos hemos sido veganos durante varios años y cada vez que visitamos todos los establecimientos veganos, nos sentimos increíblemente bienvenidos y cómodos, ya que estamos rodeados de personas que hablan su idioma, sin embargo, en este día en esta visita, estos sentimientos no fueron correspondidos hacia nosotros.

Such a cute & quirky place! Everything I imagine a Vegan place to be like! Friendly service to. Love the 'choose your own mug' when buying a hot drink. Food is amazingly tasty & fresh. Hot drinks are yummy & frothy! And well, those shakes are in a league of them own. Devastated to hear it's closing in Feb!

Este es un espacio agradable, nos sentamos arriba y aunque tiene la sensación de una sala común de sexta forma, no es peor para eso. La comida es funcional, tipo de cosas que podrías preparar tú mismo, guisos y quesadilla mexicana es lo que teníamos. El servicio parece lento pero bastante ocupado abajo y es lo que es.

Gran menú, mucho para disfrutar, eligió champiñones y espinacas en una salsa cremosa sobre tostadas de masa fermentada. Buena elección. Agradable café fuerte. Personal amable: me gustó la oportunidad de elegir mi propia taza de café. Realmente lo disfruté, volvería otra vez

I've been to Boho Utopia 6 times in the last few months. All of 5 visits were okay, the food was good, the service not really friendly, usually it took them ages to deliver our drinks, made mistakes or they were forgetting about them, but I wasn't complaining as the prices were good and food tasty. Today I came here at 12:10, I was the first customer. Ordered a tea, one blueberry and banana pancakes, dessert pancakes and a freakshake. It took them 15 minutes to bring me the tea, for pancakes the wait was over 30 minutes. After a few bites I had to return my pancakes as there was a mouldy blueberry in it. The person behind the till said 'is it only this one? are you going to finish it? did you eat half of it and then realised it was mouldy?' and never even apologised and was surprised when I asked for a refund and tried to offer a drink instead. They asked if everything else is okay, so I replied that the portions seemed way smaller than before. the person behind the till said that the portion is a standard one. so I'm going to attach a photo of my plate vs the one they advertise on their Instagram. I guess it's my sixth and last visit.u

I went here Saturday lunchtime for brunch with a friend. It’s small and quite cosy with a warm and friendly atmosphere. After studying a very comprehensive vegan and veggie menu I went to the counter to place the order, for the Power breakfast, with tea and coffee. You choose you’re own mug from a selection hanging on the wall, all shapes and sizes and return to your table. All milk is non dairy and the drinks arrived quickly. The breakfast was fab, all hot and freshly made, you can have any of the usual sauces and nothing was too much trouble from our server. The homemade baked beans were amazing, as were the sausages. Afterwards we were both seduced by the lush cakes on show at the counter and found it irresistible to leave without a takeaway cake each. Mine was the raspberry and banana loaf, which was delicious. There are lots of activities going on at this venue; workshops and events all of which are detailed inside. I think there is additional seating upstairs too. Really recommend this cute, fun friendly quirky cafe.

Very quirky cafe with very tasty food. Especially the lovely cakes and brownies. Been here a couple of times and have not noticed any issues the other bad reviews have experienced. Service is quick and friendly and the place is very clean. Would definitely recommend a visit.

Popped here on my lunch break one day and enjoyed the avocado on toast and one of the amazing and huge milkshakes that had a huge slice of brownie in it. Both so yummy. Price was around £13 for both. Love the quirks of this vegan cafe! You pick your own mug when you order a hot drink, there’s many to choose from. There’s a chalk board downstairs if you want to write something plus quotes dotted about. A bookshelf with lots of book options, plus games! I got the mac n cheese with garlic bread which was ok, a chai latte with cashew milk - delicious and also a ‘bounty’ type dessert. It was quite nice! There were loads of cake options too. I will definitely return.

Very friendly and welcoming staff. This is a vegetarian/vegan menu and I am neither but was taken by my granddaughter. I do like all kinds of food and like trying new tastes. The menu sounded amazing and I was spoilt for choice.We finally decided and were not disappointed. The food is all freshly prepared and was very tasty and appetising. The coffee was great. I will definitely be back to try some more of the menu choices.

I came here on Wednesday for a catch up with my friend, straight away we were greeted with smiley staff and gentle loving vibes in the cafe’s general atmosphere. We both got a boho breakfast which was presented beautifully and hit the spot! This cafe was so fun I was in no rush to leave, so many interesting books to flick through and board games which took me back to my younger days, which I appreciate! We had so much fun that we stayed an extra 3 hours more and even ordered a Mezze to share and nibble on which was so colourful and also presented so beautifully! I usually expect vegan diners to have a pretentious atmosphere but boho is like going to your friends house, so chilled and comfortable, feeling free to be myself, I will definitely be back soon! My new regular coffee shop! The little room is the perfect place to get on with some work and all the food is completely vegan. I recommend the mac and cheez, which is perfect comfort food for deadline time. Lovely coffees too! The girls that work here are incredibly friendly and make every visit worthwhile.
