We pop in her for lunch when going to Crews Hill gardening centre. It has a tremendous variety of choice including salads, sandwiches, burgers and the portions are very generous. Everything is freshly made, served very friendly staff. It is very busy at lunch times but the service is still quick and efficient.

Visited today for a nice Bank Holiday Coffee at the garden centre. Cafe was very busy and the staff clearly could not cope. Our coffee arrived after a fair wait and was luke warm. I drank mine, knocked it back in one go like a cold drink lol. We mentioned it to the staff who said it's not possible to be cold. My daughter saw the coffee sitting on the side for ages before they served it to us so I told the waitress. She said it was because she was too busy to bring it to us. I asked if she could replace them and the answer was no. Manager was not helpful either so asked for our money back. They only refunded one coffee as they said I had drunk mine despite it being cold Not friendly service and no customer care. Will not be back for 'cold' coffee that's for sure Very disappointing and such a shame

I ordered a prawn sandwich and wasnt asked if I would like white or brown bread. I then asked for hot chocolate to drink in, and could I take home a cake. The man serving gave me a paper bag for the cake. I paid for it and sat down and waited for my sandwich. After 20 miinutes I looked at my receipt and noticed he had not taken for the sandwich. When I questioned him about, why did he not order my sandwich he said. " I asked you if that was all you wanted pointing to the tray, Which had the hot chocolate and the cake on it . I assumed he had ordered the sandwich. At no time did I cancel it. I am slightly hard of hearing and with all the noise in there did not hear what he said. There was no apology of any kind. With that I walked out.

Blueberry Coffee Shop is a large Café located in the grounds of Springtime Garden Centre. The décor could do with a brighten up and the fake wisteria flowers etc. could be replaced with some real plants. The menu is displayed around the Café on chalk boards and looking on the tacky side. The food is slightly overpriced at £4.95 for Egg, chips & beans. The beans were cold (they replaced) and the portion was on the small side. There's plenty of seating available with 22 tables.

Love this cafe for food normally However ate there last week and was astounded at lack of awareness of H&S requirements to operate safely Help yourself to cutlery etc from a central unit - forks prongs up and who knows who may have pulled one out and put it back Queue through the cafe to order food while others sit and eat Loads of tables indoors, none appeared to have notices to leave empty to ensure distancing requirements Had to clear outside table myself (used serviettes to move previous customers plates etc). Had to request table was cleaned Two older ladies frequently came and asked if anyone else was sitting there -I feel pretty sure they would happily have sat with me and mum had I said there was space! No contact details taken so no way to trace anyone should there be an outbreak and this felt the most likely place I have been to catch corona virus. I stayed for my mum and we were outside but I shan't be going back until they address the issues required to make their establishment as safe as possible!

I always pop into the cafe and I’ve always found the staff and the owner very friendly. I have a son with autism and other learning disabilities and he is always welcomed with a smile and enjoys his slice of rainbow or carrot cake! The coffee is always perfect and my son loves the heart in chocolate on the top! Makes his day! I would recommend the Brie and bacon panini. Always hardworking staff and lovely owner! Keep up the good work Blueberry!! You have continued excellent service during this pandemic.

After staying at home for the last 10 weeks and only leaving home for essential shopping, I decided to venture out to the garden centre. Big mistake! Springtime at Crewes Hill are flouting the lock down restrictions in a shocking way!! 1. The cafe is open (fine & within the law) however instead of only doing take away, they are allowing customers to use their outdoor seating (illegal) and shockingly they are not enforcing any social distancing at all. 2. Non essential shops are open on the Sringtime site (illegal) this included a clothes / gift shop! Totally shocking!!!! As a senior manager in a care organisation I felt I had no option but to report this to the Police. It just makes a mockery of those if us who have been trying our best to save lives since this pandemic started. Second wave??? Here it comes!! Shame on you Springtime!!!!!

Have used this coffee shop for many years, even before it moved to this location and it’s always been great. The guy (who I think is the owner) is fab. But recently there seems to be a change of staff who greatly let the company down. There only seems to be one decent member of staff - the lovely lady (blonde hair) who serves the tea/coffee. Of course there may be other good staff that are not on duty when I visit. On my last 4 visits I have seen and heard a big staff argument, that initially started in the food prep area but then escalated into the serving area. One of the staff actually pushed past me while I was queuing, still cursing at the other member of staff. I have not felt welcomed. Staff seem miserable, unprofessional (loudly moaning about their job or their life): no one smiles, service is abrupt and on my last visit I felt as though I was a dead carcass with preying vultures waiting to clear my table, as at lest 4 staff were sitting on an opposite table, just watching and waiting for us to go to clean the table. It was approx 2.30pm, not near closing time. On my last 4 visits I have not seen the man on duty that I think owns it, and if I’m right, he’s staff certainly let him down when he’s not there. Sadly have stopped going as much as I used to due to the unhelpful, miserable, unprofessional staff. Food still ok but not as good. What’s happened?

Just went to blueberry cafe in Enfield by the garden centres, was absolutely shocking, the food was disgusting, ordered a tuna panini, it came out not even warmed up properly, the cheese was still in it’s sliced form (not even melted), I went up to the counter & asked for it to be warmed up properly & to at least come back to me looking appealing....... it came back (granted) warmed up a bit more but felt the food was prepared with no enthusiasm & love, looked like slop on a plate, after taking a few bites I decided against eating the plate of wasted food, so asked for a refund & was rudely told that I wasn’t entitled to one, the customer service I received was totally unacceptable & will never been visiting there again & would seriously advise anyone going there to avoid at all costs, as for the coffee & pot of tea we ordered, the coffee tasted horrible, left a nasty taste in my mouth & the pot of tea was worse than a weak builders cup of tea, never ever will I go there again.

Went in this cafe for the first time as we had gone to see Santa at the garden centre. When we got there early we were able to get a table easy but then it got very busy. It seemed clean as the tables were cleaned with antibacterial sprays. The staff were friendly. The food was served quick. The menu is a bit hard to read as it’s written all over the wall but it’s a nice big menu. We were there with our children so we all ordered breakfasts and drinks and it was all excellent. The portions were big. The coffee the first time was very good but my second cup was just too milky. But overall it was all very good food. If this cafe was closer to us we would definitly visit again. Recommend.

It used to be so good when it was in another garden centre. On entering it stank of fried food but guess this is unavoidable when it’s all open plan, but it was horrid.I had a Brie, crispy bacon and tomato toastie, hardly any Brie and whilst generous amount of bacon it wasn’t crispy hence it was a fatty mess of streaky bacon and the toast was soggy. It looked and tasted like it had been hanging around for hours. I couldn’t eat it. Asked for extra hot coffee and it wasn’t. I should have complained but the smell of the place had got to me and I wanted to get out of the place.

If your looking for somewhere that puts the customers first this is not the place to be. Very clean food ok, but pricing a total rip off. Menus all over the wall, but no menus on the table so your not sure of the cost when you get to the counter. Owner runs the till like a military exercise. Will definitely not return. Better and more customer focused places in Crews Hill that don’t make you feel ripped off

For about ten years we at Eastwaycare have been taking service users to Cruise Hill, they love going and enjoy the reindeers, lights, and Christmas spirit. We thought the Blueberry cafe was a place where we can eat and enjoy our day out. A few years ago we took a group with a young man with autism who had a pee outside the cafe. I apologised, but the manager wanted to make an issue of it, even though I cleaned up after the event. I stayed professional and tried to explain why it had happened. He was not nice and blamed me for not stopping this young man from doing this. As if i could. Last year we took a different group, the same manager complained that we didn't clean up after our service users, which we did even though there was lots of mess left by people with young children. This year on 30th November, we visited again, four staff and four service users. We spent over £35 with two service users who are on special diets having to eat their own food, and six of us who bought food. We were amongst parents, children and older people eating their cake and drinking tea. That same manager came over to me and said he didn't want us in there with two service users eating their own special dietary food when the place was so busy. Don't know what any of you think, but to me my staff and clients I do think we are being discriminated against because of who we are.

Ate here today with husband, 2 young children and my elderly Nan. As it was a Bank Holiday it was very busy even by 12 and we were lucky to get a table as some people were leaving as we arrived. However, table was clean and I saw staff wiping tables with anti-bac spray as they were vacated, so it was clean and tidy. Menu was quite limited and if you are gluten free then you would struggle to eat anything in here beyond a jacket potato. Portions were generous, even the children's, but would have been nice to have had an addition of peas or beans with the children's meals as I do like to give them vegetables too!

Would not recommend if you have someone in a wheelchair especially with special needs. The manager moaned about us taking up too much room, being in the way of other customers. He kept telling us he needed the tables for other customers even when we repeatedly told him we had ordered hot food and drinks. We were made to feel really uncomfortable. We would have left if we hadnt paid for food and drinks. The manager was rude and unwelcoming. Wont be coming or recommending this place again. We have visited before but never been treated so badly. Food is over priced too!

A party of 7 all meeting for lunch. Got shown to table but no mention at this time you have to order food from the bar. 4 of the party have obvious mobility problems so this advice would have been useful. When asked the only 2 bar staff to take food orders we were told do not have a machine to do table service.Come on Ember inns this is the 21st century, I,m sure we still have paper and pen still in operation at other pubs.Bar staff slow with only one staff able to log in to computer. Food on the whole very good. Be prepared to get blocked in the car park after 4pm with people arriving!

Each time we visit Enfield we make sure to visit The King and Tinker. It is a charming pub, full of history, and there has been an ale house there for more than 1000 years. It has real olde world pub charm and a wonderfully cosy feel. My absolute favourite on the menu is the lamb shank - beautifully cooked and extremely reasonably priced. The steak pie is a favourite of my husband's and never disappoints. We were hosted by Toni - a lovely lady with extensive knowledge of the pub trade and with a friendly and warm personality. Definitely try it if you are in the area - you won't be disappointed!

I visited your establishment and felt the need to contact about just how awful my experience was I waited half an hour for a burger and when it came it was the worst tasting meat I have ever had, it was very low quality that contained lots of hard balls of fat and sinew which caused me to have to spit it out I had complained to staff and they just stared back blankly and offered no resolution I’ve tried using your cafe multiple times where often it would be shut or over half your menu unavailable I am thoroughly disappointed and will not be recommending this to any of my peers
