Christmas party lunch for eight people was out of this world. The wonderful staff treated us all like royalty, nothing was too much trouble. Beautiful freshly prepared food, served piping hot and absolutely delicious. This was not our first time here and it will definitely not be the last. Thank you Blueberries...

The food here is excellent and the staff are friendly and helpful. We had Salmon, Turkey and cheese and onion pie( the best I have tasted) . Too full for dessert. A great varied menu also.

Three of us decided to have something to eat here today…..soooo disappointed we only ordered soup/sandwich soup was very tasty…but sadly all three soups were Luke warm..at best.sandwiches were cheap processed bread,no garnish,I know we should have complained at the time,however the cafe was absolutely heaving and the very young staff waiting on looked really flustered…..but there is no excuse for the chef/cook to send out food that is not at the right temperature.far better eating establishments in and around clitheroe.

Saw blueberries cafe on BBC NEWS, came in to eat, food was excellent but.. girlies.. don’t give your day job up as your singing was .. lets just not even go there ;) ha! Lots of love to all the staff!

Whilst on holiday in the area we stopped here several times for a meal. The staff are friendly and the food faultless. Our dog was also made a fuss of with biscuits and plenty of water. Well done to all the staff for their hard work.

We popped into Blueberries Cafe and ordered breakfast. The staff here are really friendly and the food is wonderful! The cakes and baked goods really are exceptional. Excellent value too, after gorging ourselves on the lovely breakfasts we left with a pile of cakes and beautiful quiche for our supper! And I loved that the tea came in a metal pot that poured beautifully and I was offered a pot of hot water if I wanted one. It's what I call a "proper cup of tea!" Totally worth a trip to Clitheroe to see the team at Blueberries.

Very friendly staff, I can confirm previous reviews are spot on, breakfast was amazing and would highly recommend this cafe to others.

The breakfast was excellent but afterwards I had problems with my car locks. The help from the staff in finding a sensible priced taxi company was fantastic (my phone was also locked in the car. I had really supportive assistance from the Cafe, the man running the vacuum stall on the market and the taxi driver who recommended a sensibly priced locksmith. The people of Clitheroe did themselves proud.

The Full English Breakfast is amazing! High quality produce, freshly prepared to order, presented beautifully, served with a smile, and on a HOT plate. Highly recommended...

Whilst visiting Clitheroe we visited here for lunch. It was very busy which was a good sign. A very extensive menu of fresh homemade food. We selected the pie, chips gravy and mushy peas. It was excellent so tasty and will certainly return in the future. Added to that very friendly staff well worth a visit by anyone visiting Clitheroe.

Lovely cafe, traditional breakfast was perfect. No problems with swapping items out for a fussy eater. Coffee was really good as well. The cakes looked amazing but sadly we were too full to try them.

We were advised to visit this cafe near the market. So pleased we did, a real gem! Staff are friendly, place is clean, food delicious and reasonably priced Had the chicken broth with dumplings, others the breakfast baps. All freshly made. Don’t miss this quality experience.

The bustling cafe has been reconfigured to meet the current UK.Gov guidance, one way in, and one way out with 2m distancing. But, there is nothing distant about their food or their incredibly warm welcome. Let's keep this Clitheroe Gem alive!

It was lovely food with great staff. My husband and mother enjoyed cheese and onion pie, daughter had lasagne. I would have liked a few more lower calorie options I had egg, beans and toast which was lovely. I was a bit disappointed as I had gone specifically for the chicken broth and they had sold out.

I come most weeks to meet up with friends, everything we have tried on the menu is delicious, the home made chips 🤤. All cakes sampled have been much enjoyed too. Staff are all friendly and nothing is any trouble.

Called in Saturday lunch with friends. Popular and a few tables free at 12:30 with a queue shortly after we arrived. Excellent service from start to finish. Perfection, not just this time but every time. The lady who runs this cafe is one of the kindest, most caring people I’ve ever met. She always has a smile, she always gets the food out perfectly / hot and is just generally lovely.She deals with my awkward allergy so well, plus my specific requests on how I like my food.It’s always clean, plus good value for money.

I've been coming here for a while is I thought I'd have a change and try somewhere posh, like in Whalley. 1 week later and I'm back at Blueberries for their delicious food, brilliant service and all for rock bottom prices. I'll be back next week!

Wow is the only response I can have to the previous review regarding wheelchair access and the comments regarding the staff. As an electric wheelchair user myself, I have been visiting Blueberries since the day it opened, and have never once had difficulty getting in, or ever found any member of staff not willing to help. If anything the staff go out of their way to assist me. Along with the excellent high standard of food, this makes it an ideal place to visit. I cannot recommend it enough for the accessibility and assistance for wheelchair users.

Tripadvisor describes this establshment as having wheelchair access - it doesn't. We struggled to get inside, as a member of staff first pushed past us and then stood, impatiently, and watched on. No offer of assistance or even a smile. My 91 year old Dad was so upset that we left without eating.

I make a point of having lunch here every time I am in Clitheroe because although there are so many options in the town everything I’ve ever had has been right on the mark. All tasty and great value served by lovely people who work very hard to please.

We called into the café yesterday for coffee and cake. As it was a gloriously sunny day we elected to sit on the terrace with our elderly dog in his pupchair. The choice of cakes was mouthwatering but I ordered the orange gateau and my hubby had chocolate cake with ice cream. I asked the server for it to be gently warmed, not hot (as hubby doesn’t like it when the frosting melts) and they got it spot on. We both had black coffee and it was really delicious, I did mean to ask what blend it was but forgot.

Ordered at the counter they made a mistake and charged for 2 duplicate items which we returned when the waitress brought it out., recieved a snotty comment (manageress) like it was our mistake and she took the item back fine but no offer to take it off the bill! Had to ask a waitress really not happy won't be going back as there's much better cafes in clitheroe .

Such a pleasant experience food is great freshly cooked , staff friendly and attentive, if it's not on the menu but they have ingredients they will make anything for you. . Well worth a visit

Having read many positive reviews on Tripadvisor we decided to visit for brunch. We asked about gluten free breakfast and nothing was too much trouble. They informed me my breakfast would be cooked in a separate pan, which items I could have and brought me 2 slices of gluten free toast. There was a genuine care in the attitude of the staff. Service was swift but we weren't rushed. The food was delicious and not at all greasy. My husband had the full cooked breakfast and said the same.

A lovely friendly cafe with a wide range of delicious freshly cooked food. We visit almost every week the staff are always smiling and friendly, service is quick and efficient and nothing is too much trouble. Vegan.... food allergies... no worries they will prepare anything. I can highly recommend Blueberries.

We go to Blueberries regularly for lunch. The service is great and the food is excellent. I would definitely recommend the fish and chips but everything on the menu looks delicious. Although Blueberries can get very busy we are always served promptly and the staff are friendly and professional.

Having read good reviews for this cafe we thought we would try it out for lunch. What a hidden gem, near the market and view of castle. Great choice of food with plenty of specials - I had the scampi and hubby had fish and chips - both excellent. Staff were lovely and very efficient, no waiting despite being very busy on a Tuesday and always cleaning up tables. Cakes looked gorgeous. Very reasonably priced and decent portions. Well done chefs and staff - keep up the good work. Will visit again when next in area. You must try it.

My son bought me breakfast here after a birthday meander around town and the market. What a treat! We had a Saturday morning vegetarian fry up with pots of freshly brewd coffee. What a treat! Spotlessly ckean hit white plates arrived with the best cooked breakfast I think I’ve ever had. Perfectly cooked, the hash browns veggie sausages, eggs, mushrooms and beans were faultless. He had thick toast with butter whilst Inopted for fried bread, a child hood staple. It was divine. I have fallen in love and will make this a regular venue.

First of all, I just want to say a huge thank you to the incredible staff who went above and beyond to make sure that I had the nicest gluten and dairy free meal possible! It’s always nervy ordering food in cafes when I have severe intolerances but I knew I was in safe hands.

Popped in as a family (2 adults + 2 kids (5 & 7). We arrived on peak lunch time and there were no spare tables. However, one of the staff kindly offered to reserve us a table if we could come back in 15 minutes, which we did.

Monday Lunchtime in January was cold wet and miserable, the market was all shut down and the street empty, but Blueberries was warm, welcoming and full of people! How do they manage to get people out of their houses and into their cafe under those circumstances? The answer is excellent food and excellent service! Love it!

We went to Clitheroe Market & called in Blueberries for the first time & what a treat it was. All the food including desserts & cakes are home made. The cafe itself is bright & very clean & the staff extremely pleasant & helpful. It might have been our first visit but it definitely won't be our last. If you are in the Clitheroe area make sure you visit Blueberries

We visited Clitheroe a few weeks ago and it was a bitterly cold day so popped in here after looking around the market stalls. We all had teas and coffees and bacon butties which were delicious. The waitresses were really friendly too. It's such a lovely place to eat. Will definitely be back again soon.

I took my mum on a day trip to Clitheroe to see the market. Before going I searched for places to have a nice lunch. I saw this place and It was recommended to me by a friend I know in Clitheroe. We found the place and mum looked at the Menu. We both opted for the Plate Pie with Mushy Peas and Mash. I asked for a small amount of Gravy so the lady who served me said she would put the gravy in a separate boat for us. The meal was very nice and always good to try local produce. The staff couldn't have been friendlier.

This cafe offers the most delicious range of home cooked food. Traditional pie and peas - yum! Plenty of other foods too plus delicious cakes. The staff are warm, friendly and welcoming. Nothing is too much trouble. Situated at the edge of the outdoor market, it is a perfect drop-in after shopping. Highly recommended!

A friend organised an 80th birthday lunch for a friend and I a pre-ordered a vegan option for myself of vegan Lancashire hotpot. I have to say it knocks spots off any other hotpot I have eaten, it was awesome and with the mushy peas, beetroot and red cabbage was a satisfying lunch on a chilly Wednesday.

We have been here for coffees quite a few times and this will be the third time for a breakfast prior to going on Clitheroe Market. This time we had our two grand daughters with us aged 4 and 7, their Mum was attending a training course. We were a little concerned that they would find something on the menu that they would like and both had decided on beans on toast when they saw it " pancakes with syrup", this was just what they love as a treat and they both polished it off pretty quickly, I went for the beans on toast and my husband had a full English. All was delicious as usual, service is very friendly and fast and all the staff are great, We popped to the loo before leaving and this was spotless, always a good sign.

Called in at lunchtime and ordered plate meat pie chips and peas. Served by very friendly staff. Food was freshly cooked and was delicious. Will be eating here again when next in Clitheroe. Thank you.

The hidden gem of Clitheroe. Always busy. Great service and make you feel welcome. Tucked away near the market. Go nearly every week. Plate Meat pie is the one to have but a good menu range to choose from. Can’t fault the business. Recommended

Tucked away next to the market, this cafe seats around 52 people. It's busy at times, probably because the food is very good, with a lot of choice, the cakes are amazing and the service is excellent. All of the food is homemade here at the cafe. It's really sad to drop a star, which is only because I ordered chicken and mushroom pie and hoped for a full pastry pie, but it was a pot pie. If that's your preference then Blueberries is a 5-star cafe all day long. Incidentally, the pot pie was very good! Highly recommended, but be sure to save room for a cake or pastry!

I'm a fairly regular visitor and Blueberries has never disappointed. The breakfast is excellent with good quality ingredients, well cooked and not at all greasy. The lunches are always tasty and, possibly most importantly, proper chips! Not the disappointing floury frozen ones served by so many. The plate meat pie and cheese pies are worthy of a special mention. Good value and highly recommended.

So disappointed with lunch today, it gets good reviews so me and three others thought we'd give it a go and we really wished we hadn't. We had the quiche and lasagna and both were awful. They were over cooked and greasy, the ingredients weren't good quality and the prices were so expensive for the amount you got and certainly for the quality. I don't understand the amount of good reviews as there's better places to eat and would not recommend it.

Without doubt the best English Breakfast in town. Blueberries is friendly, clean and overlooks the market in Clitheroe so you can watch the world go by sat on the terrace outside during summer. Two minutes walk from the railway station so this is the perfect start to the day for me if I'm travelling by rail into Manchester. Highly recommended.

we went to blueberries for breakfast and we found a absolute cracker wasn't the easiest place to find but look for the signs for the market and you wont go wrong. right I had the full breakfast wow great sausage and lovely tastey black pud ,bacon ,beans, mushies ,fried egg, fried slice but you can have toast if you want, my wife had poached egg,beans, toast I had great pot of tea and extra hot water my wife said the coffee was great .the place was spotlessly clean and the toilets were great. prices are reasonable the staff were very polite and welcoming a real local atmosphere we felt very comfortable and would recommend it highly the menu is very extensive.....

The moment you walk through the door you feel welcomed. The busy, helpful and polite staff can't do enough to make you feel at home. But 'at-home' may be an understatement, because the standard of service is excellent. The last time I visited was for breakfast, and it was the cook who brought my meal to the table! Now, that is confidence and the type of service that I only ever see at the 5 star hotels that I stay at.

Staying nearby we decided to go out for breakfast in Clitheroe on Saturday 23/06/18.

I recently organised an event for over 60 people and asked Blueberries to provide a hot buffet service. From the initial enquiry the staff were more than helpful and the service on the night was extremely professional and efficient. Serving at the exact time that was requested. We chose the hot buffet which included, meat pie - which was made from "proper" stewing beef, cheese and onion pie and a vegan hot pot. Everyone commented on how good the food was and it was such good value for money - at only £3.95 p/h for the basic choice. The pies were also served with mushy peas, beetroot and red cabbage. It was just amazing!

There’s little that I can add to others’ comments. I came in for a late breakfast after packing away my camping and cycling gear. (That way ‘round to make sure I didn’t dawdle at the campsite.) After a delicious veggie breakfast, with crisp, firm mushrooms and runny egg yolks, I just had to sample a cake as well. I liked the way that my double espressos came in a large cup, to trap the aroma, and the cup was properly hot.
